I am not featured in any of these pics. I am interested in everyone's VI skills/opinions.

    You are an interesting specimen.

I'd like to add that these pics were taken in present day, not the years in which we were in school.

    Oh.

When I was in middle school (grade 7-8) having at least one girlfriend for a minimum two week period (sometimes one), if not longer, was pretty much the norm.

She was the only gf I had in middle school.

Oh it is the norm...i was just a nerd and afraid of guys back then. Is there a possibility she's ISTP?

    ISFj or ESTj
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

Nowadays, recent pics (not necessarily the one's I posted) and her typing style (in PMs) have appeared reminicent of egos I know, but it never fit with how I remembered her. To me, her type had always been IEE.

Would you mind telling me how to came to this VI conclusion?

EDIT: Other users who believe differently based on the pictures, feel free to give me your rationalizations as well.

Basically, the first pic had a very self-contained aspect to it—one which I have have witnessed with Fi time and time again. But Ne-ENFps are quite different looking than Fi-ENFps, so I knew the fact that it was so salient suggested Fi sub. She also seemed to be more static than dynamic; with EJ's you can sense the psychological control directed outward, and with IP's you can sense the adaptability dispersed throughout their 'field.' While she definitely seemed a bit reserved, it wasn't of the fluid IP nature, but rather, the general attitudes of deltas. After going through a few mandatory comparisons to ISFps and whatnot, the differences became clear.

I've never seen an ENFp look like that. I can't see her being ENFp from those photos. Infact I find it really hard to see her as ENFp, but you know her so you can say better. I have seen some ISTp's and some ESFj's with a similar look to her. That's my rationalisation. But then it was a face I wasn't sure of to begin with. Thanks for posting her.

There were features to her that primarily reminded me of ISTp which was my first choice, but I used to know an ESFj that sort of reminded me of her so I said that as an unlikely second.

That's interesting. Based on what I know of her personality, SLI (along with any non-extratim/EP temperment) seems the most improbable to me. Though the shape of her smile is similiar to mine.

Which of her features specifically (smile, eyes, nose, cheekbones, posture, something) do you think are signature of SLIs?

And I'm glad you enjoyed this little exercise too.

In what ways do you think the two subtypes differ, looks-wise? I'm not sure what you mean by self-contained in this respect.

@DeAnte: I can't really see ENFp from those pics at all. I'm inclined to say Se ego. She seems to have that more (forceful?) look I associate with Se egos.

Ne-ENFp's look much more expansive than the Fi subs. With the former, the focus seems to be on discrete aspects of things—variables, processes, etc. So, while they're still static, they seem much more attuned to the aggregation of 'objects out there.' Fi subs seem more self-contained mainly because Fi is self-contained by its nature. An internal field focusing on implicit connection between two things. Most Ne subs are typically 7s, while Fi subs tend to be 6s and 9s mainly.

Sorry if that's vague. It's hard to articulate a lot of this stuff because once you get a handle on it, things become very fluid and intuitive. So, when typing people, or focusing on a specific aspect of something, I have a hard time simply isolating it as some independent entity, because one thing sort of necessitates a chain of other things. Having Ni as my main method of doing it doesn't make it easier, lol.

Yeah it was sort of smile area like you mentioned which made me think ISTp, normally ENFp's i've known have 'brighter' eyes for want of an expression. It's possible that sort of smile is delta type of look cause I see it a lot in our quadra. If her eyes had been a bit more 'brighter' i'd have thought ENFp, and I think nose shape can seem a little different to her in other ENFp. Even as I write this i'm aware it can sound stupid. Basically when I VI I just rely on people i've known, it's more intuitive - not socionic word, and trying to define specific features can make it sound daft I think.

It's not the first time i've thought from looking at a photo i've seen the person as there dual.

Looks like Strrrng is on to something in what he says.

Infact now that I think of it there is a little bit of difference in the look of the subs. Well done Strrrng.
