Peanut butter toast. Super simple...has fat and carbs and protein. Tasty too. Best served with milk.
Eating two pieces of this (or more if you want) a day will help you gain weight. It made me gain weight verrrry quickly once a few years ago.

You could also try putting banana slices on it. I haven't done that but it sounds appealing.
Adding cinnamon to the peanut butter makes it interesting too.
And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

This is my favorite food ever. I shared it in the recipe sharing thread, but it's fattening. So it may help.
I'm not sure if you have any dietary restrictions, but if not...this is yummy, and simple.

^Doesn't look quite like this. I stir the herbs into the sauce...not just pile them on top.

    olive oil
    1 medium sweet onion (diced)
    16oz can tomato sauce
    fresh parsley
    cayenne pepper
    ground pepper
2 cups grated romano/parmesan cheese blend
    1/2 pint heavy cream
    2 splashes vodka (optional)

saute onions in olive oil until very soft
add tomato sauce, parsley, cayenne pepper & pepper (to taste)
    simmer 15 mins
    add cheese
    stir until melted
add heavy cream until nice orange color - not too much!
    add vodka if using it
pour over rigatoni noodles and fully coat them.

And I would hide my face in you and you would hide your face in me, and nobody would ever see us any more.

From a fellow super skinny girl:

    1 box of Fettuccine
1 medium container of heavy whipping cream
1 of the normal sized cans of Kraft parmesan chesse
1/2 a stick of salted butter

    (Optional)
    Sun dried tomatoes
    Chicken
    Ham
    Mushrooms
    Shit ton of garlic

Boil the pasta. Melt the butter in the pan on medium low heat. Pour the cream in (yes, all of it). Add 2/3rds of the cheese and stir until it tastes right. Add whatever extras you want (make sure they're cooked first, silly). Throw the cheese sauce on the pasta. This is one of the only pasta dishes that reheat well. It's extremely fatty.

    Steak steak steak.

And rice pudding. Roughly 100g pudding rice: 1ltr full fat milk: 150ml double cream: 50g butter: 50g sugar and half a vanilla pod. Whack in some cinnamon and nutmeg if you fancy. Bung it in the oven for 2-3 hours at 140/160 centigrade and stir when you can be bothered. If it starts getting too thick then just add more milk.

Try milkshakes between meals. Dairy is your friend.

Acquire a copy of The Joy of Cooking. It is a dictionary and DYI in one. Terms and techniques are explained in clear English, with helpful illustrations and plates throughout. Answers in a box.

Eggs will give you some mass. Especially if you don't take out the yolk. Most professional body builders I know of take out the yolks though as in theory that is mostly where all the cholesterol is.

This is SUPER easy and SUPER good. Try it!

    Gravlax
A Nordic dish consisting of raw salmon, cured in salt, sugar, and dill. Often served as an appetizer, but works as a main course as well. Especially good with lemon/rye bread/other sort of bread/with boiled potatoes/with sour cream/with mozzarella/in salads/only your imagination is the limit. I bet there are a lot of suggestions on the internet., too

    you will need:

    - a piece of fresh salmon
    - salt (something like 3-6 tablespoons for 1kg of salmon)
    - a little bit of sugar (1/3 of the amount of salt maybe)
    - white or black pepper, some lemon juice, dill or some other spices if you wish

    1. Put the salmon on top of a paper/plastic wrap/foil/something of the like
    2. Remove the bones (if there are any)
    2. Add salt
    3. Add other substances (I usually use a tablespoon or a few of sugar and pepper)
    4. Wrap the fish in the paper/plastic wrap/foil and put it in the fridge
    5. Leave it there for 2-3 days
    5. Cut the fish into thin slices
    6. Ta-Daa!

    ghetto au jus sandwich:

get a packet of cheep roast beef from the store, some hogie rolls, some cheese (optional), and some beef flavored top ramen.

put roast beef on sliced hogie roll, add cheese, microwave it until hot.

boil 3/4 of a cup of water in the microwave (should boil down to around 1/2 - 1/4 of a cup) and add the flavor pack from the top ramen (throw ramen noodles away while avoiding thinking of all the starving children in the world).

    eat.

    chicken soup-
    1 chicken

    6 carrots
    3 zucchini
    2 onion
    3 celery stalks
    1 thing of garlic
    Chop all those up

    1 lemon squeezed
salt, pepper, sage, rosemary, bay leaf

Put olive oil into a massive pot, stir fry vegetables for about 7 minutes, add the whole chicken & submerge it with water. Add the rest of the stuff.
Put lid on and bring to boil, then lower to simmer & cook for ~1 hour 15 min afterwards. After that's done, trim the fat off the chicken & skim some fat off the top, peel chicken apart. Vuala you have ch icken soup

It makes like 16 servings and takes not that much time / effort, tastes good

    Depends on your diet hun.

Have you seen a doctor lately? What can you eat in terms of carb/protein?

I don't know if you're vegetarian or not, my aunt makes this really great veggie dish...it takes a long time to make but it's worth it and you can store it in the freezer for a quick meal.

So you essentially soak and bake garbanzo, yellow peas, you mash them together with any herb you like, oregano, tyme etc. you can even add cooked down veggies like kale, spinach, etc. salt pepper and you make little falafel balls or you can make patties out of them, either rebake, fry or serve like that as a veggie open face burger.
    -
    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    The way of the Pasta

    For the red sauce
    - get a can of tomatoe sauce
    - get some basil/oregano
    - put the tomatoe sauce into a saucepan and heat
    - add the basil/oregano
    - taste until optimal spice/temperature
    - DONE
    - you can get creative with it later

    For the pasta
    - Take some pasta, break it in half, and throw in it a pot of water
    - Boil the water
    - Taste pasta until desired firmness
    - Strain

    Putting it together
    - Take Pasta and put on plate
    - Take Sauce and put on pasta
    - You can get creative with it later and add stuff to the pasta

    >> pasta costs like 2 bucks for a shitload of it
    >> sauce costs like 2 bucks for a shitload of it
    >> a little basil/oregano costs like 5-8 bucks but will last you several goes
    >> its insanely cheap
    >> it only requires boiling / heating stuff up in sauce pans
    >> pasta is loaded with carbs
    >> there are many variations considering the sauce, additives, and types of pasta shape and grain.

Spaghetti/red sauce in a jar can be pretty good and often comparable then something you make fresh. Althrough it's simple to make a red sauce, pop open jar is easier.

Barilla, bertolli, wolfgang puck etc all make decent sauces.

    Key to making pasta.

    1. Less sauce/more pasta(just enough to coat is perfect). 1 jar usually is enough for 1 16oz box of pasta + 1 pound of meat or 1 pound of veggies as well. THIS IS A LOT!
    2. Salt the pasta water.
    3. Cook the past per direction -1 minute. This is because you want to move the pasta to the sauce in that 1 minute for the final cooking. (add a bit of salted pasta water to the sauce if it needs more salt, but be careful to not oversalt)
    4. Stir with sauce until al dente and the sauce binds to the surface of the pasta.

Do not fuck these up (^_^), the difference between properly made pasta and soggy watery shit is not negotiable.

I recommend a spicy italian sausage(1/2 spicy and 1/2 sweet is good too but usually a pack will only be one type) for red sauce, cut into 1/2 inch chunks(I prefer removing the skin of half of the sausage to let those small meat chunks distribute thru the sauce). Saute in pan until browned, add sauce, scrape up awesome brown bits(deglazing).

I like rigatoni or zitti or penne(different sizes generally) for this because the hollow these make for good sauce scoops/containers, also ridged for more surface area to soap up sauce and flavor. ^_^ Spaghetti is good as well.

I think this is just falafel?

we make this in Russia also, I recommend it

here are a few very simple recipes of 3-4 steps each:

    1. buy a white bread of your choice (frozen Naan from Trader Joe's can do the trick)
    2. purchase milk
    3. warm milk in a cup, dip bread into milk and eat it together with milk
(this is an ancient recipe taken straight from Russian villages where this is often a form of breakfast or lunch )

    1. buy a white bread of your choice (frozen Naan for TJ's again works well) and grated or sliced cheese (I found Havarti cheese slices to work well for this purpose)
    2. microwave bread for 30-40 sec to unfreeze
    3. put cheese on top of it and microwave for another 30-40 sec with cheese until it's melted (can add other stuff too like meat slices)

    1. purchase vegetarian burger patties, hambuger buns, lettuce, tomatoes, sandwich pickles and condiments of your choice
    2. heat up the patties in a frying pan or microwave and toast the buns in a toaster
    3. put everything together for a vegetarian hamburger and enjoy

    1. purchase soy beans or asparagus
    2. microwave or boil, do whatever is necessary to unfreeze and prepare
    3. sprinkle with salt/garlic/lemon zest to your linking and consume

    1. purchase salmon and a couple of lemons
    2. slice lemons in thin slices and put them around salmon (can add extra spices lime lemon&pepper)
    3. bake the salmon and enjoy

    1. purchase 2 plantains and a small can of sour cream
    2. wait for plantains to ripen until they are yellow and soft (might take a week or two so buy in advance)
    3. put olive oil on frying pan, heat, cut the plantains into pieces and fry them until they soften but not until they start getting crusty and brown
    4. eat dipping into sour cream (should look like this)

    1. purchase 2 avocadoes, 1 tomato, 1 jalapeno pepper (pic), 1 garlic head, 1 small onion (this kind), 1 lime and some corn chips
    2. when avocado is soft and ripe, take them out of their shell and mash both of them
    3. dice the tomato into very small pieces
    4. use garlic presser to press the garlic, do the same thing to the jalapeno pepper and the small onion
    5. throw it all all together, squeeze the lime and you have freshly made guacamole that you can eat with chips (very zesty and a great source of vitamins in winter)

    1. purchase butter lettuce and dressing (I prefer just olive oil/vinegar ones), some nuts (pine or walnut), dried cranberries, bread coutons, whatever you want to see in your salad
    2. throw it all together and eat with bread

    1. look up a recipe for plov - this is a rice & lamb dish that looks like this
    2. make plov over the weekend and eat it throughout the week

I saw this over at serious eats, it dirt simple and can be done with a toaster oven.

Miso salmon is frighteningly good stuff... just don't over cook the fish, for the love of god!
