SJ Definitely.

I'm not sure I have the experience to answer the question fully, but I guess I'd go with Ixxj. I enjoy people when they come at things from a different angle than I do (not to say that all Ixxj's do it the same way) yet we still seem to share some important things in common.
That's an interesting question though, I'll have to give it some more thought.

For the record, I tend to think of quadra values as being the most significant aspect of Socionics, but I'm putting that aside, just for this thread.

hmmmm i go with a more functional/relational basis of attraction. like, for me, a semi-dual or an illusionary would be a much better romantic partner than an activity. so the order of attraction from most to least would be duality, illusionary, semiduality, activity, beneficiary, lookalike, mirror. but i could see a romantic relationship with any of these.
these are tied for next-to-last: supervisor, supervisee, quasi, contrary, superego, comparative, benefactor. i can be friends with these people, though.
and tada, last: conflict. respectful curiosity is about the best this can be.

this is an impossible distinction.
actual characteristics of a person would be more useful in making this kind of distinction. attraction varies by person. who the hell knows if SJ or whatever is attractive or not if you don't have some actual person to compare it to?
If you can't form a basic idea of how a person behaves when it comes to socionics, then why are you even here to begin with?

Experience has taught me that as long as a person is female, single, reasonably attractive and reasonably intelligent, oh yes and of a similar age to me, unless I know that she's of a potentially conflicting sociotype in relation to mine (Fe EJ is about the only criterion that makes me decide a definite NO in this regard), then chances are I'll find her attractive. If any of the criteria above do not apply (yes, I know they're subjective, what else do you expect?) then obviously I won't. Aside from that though, I can't really make a distinction based upon the options in the original post. My apologies if this causes you great distress (not that I'd imagine it would).

i strongly object to the application of this question to this thread.
we are being asked to tell whether we prefer SJs or EPs. exactly how the fuck are we supposed to make such a differentiation?
you appear to have completely ignored my point about people being different.
ESIs are extremely different from ESEs. ILEs are extremely different from SEEs. how does one determine if they would prefer {ILE, SLE, SEE, IEE} or {ESE, LSI, ESI, LSE} as entire sets rather than individual people or at least individual types?
ftr this is the kind of question that suggests to me that you are Ti. the preconceived notion here seems to be very oriented towards categorizing people into lots of little boxes rather than looking at the big picture.
alone its not conclusive, but these things add up. but i digress, and i'm not really going to claim to know your type definitively but i will always have suspicions.

The reason I started this thread is because of ST's. I mean, they can be awesome as friends, but I don't see anything about them that would make me want to be with one. LSI's are probably more attractive to me than any other ST type though.
