I challenge you to convince me otherwise.
I challenge you to convince me otherwise.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
the theory sucks or does it suck that things are so?
The end is nigh
Last time I checked, it was most of us doing all the sucking.
mostly you, but who's counting?
The end is nigh
You're the one with the mistype.

Maybe, just maybe.... just the people on this board suck?
No, socionics sucks. I like most people on the board, their real selves. I just don't like their ideas or their stupid egoic beliefs.
I'd like to have a go...
Without knowing about Socionics, you would return to an age of innocence, perpetually wondering why some people got on and others didn't. Why some people seemed to get you yet have a totally different way of looking at the world and others didn't. You would return to an age of innocence and wonder, a happier time, a new childhood, where people where allowed time to be judged on their own merits, for better or for worse.
Where looking for the potential love of your life didn't involve, breaking down their personality into the same old 2D stereotypes. Friends, enemies, family members of the same type didn't start blurring into one.
Without Socionics people might still surprise you, instead of repeating the same fucking patterns over and over and over again. They wouldn't be so fucking predictable and easy to manipulate. Life without Socionics would be shit.
yeah socionics does suck, but so does everything
Yeah sometimes I agree, I think it fucking sucks. You are just a type, a commdity, Socionics devalues relationships. Understanding something makes it shit, because if you understand why someone is wicked into you and then you understand that it isn't personal - that plenty of other people who share your personality type can do the things that you do for that person - you
get all insecure like why does that person need me above anyone else?
But then it's wicked, because it tells you exactly who you are looking for to have the most fufilling, wicked relationship. Socionics points you in the direction of a 'soul mate', the 'other half', 'perfect fit'. Most people don't have a clue what they are looking for, they don't know what they need and they end up stuck with frustrating relationships. And when you think about it every other Socionics relationship is designed to self-combust or leave you hollow in the end - because people are meant to be with the person they were designed for. So it's lucky that you know about it because you would have probably ended up with a type that wasn't your dual...aha
It describes the types of people you will connect with and get the most benefit from having friendships with, so you don't waste your time. It explains why certain people hate on you for 'no reason'.
So it's pretty cool.
I think if we get too fixated on Socionics then we forget to focus on the other reasons why we appreciate people and we forget thet we have more of value in us that is important in relationship than just our personality type. That's when it fucking sucks.
IEI, sp/sx 4w3.
Socionics is the most incredible theory I've ever read.
.
...The few that do usually leave shortly thereafter... Thus it's tough to find anyone to teach Socionics to newcomers... (Some newcomers are put off by the environment and lack of Socionics understanding.)
Everything you wrote in your post, Diana, is true... I hope that as more people learn the theory, the English-speaking community will suck less and less.
This whole shit is hopeless.

Don't worry, you'll get jaded eventually.
But, for a certainty, back then,
