My opinion on this isn't very well-informed but that's how I see it.

Well, outside of the Harry Potter universe, people with basically the same values are going to be cast pretty differently. Even within it they are somewhat, since it's not a Disney movie.

Batman, is he actually Slytherin? Or a "darker" Gryffindor or even Ravenclaw? The only House we can safely rule out for him is Hufflepuff.

Same question for The Joker. He probably fits into Slytherin better... but still, just wondering.

@Wyrd made good points about Batman - Slytherin + Joker - Gryffindor. I only suspect Batman has a large Ravenclaw side, too. A very eccentric and technology-reliant person all about justice - he doesn't seek power like a Slytherin would, in fact, it's an almost intellectual vigilant justice. The Slytherin quality he has is determination and choosing to operate in the shadows to some degree. Bruce Wayne is definitely Slytherin in his billionaire form, Batman adds a more... detached and aloof Ravenclaw value system. So I would distinguish them there. But if Wayne is Slytherin, so is his alter ego I guess.

Slytherin as a second house is also possible, but it's a tie with Hufflepuff. Let's see what she thinks

I saw these questions of yours... but I dunno really. It's true that I'm most drawn to the style of Slytherin stuff, but I don't see myself as "dark" by default, I only relate to the Slytherin attitude for certain things. Other than that, I don't relate to any of the Houses or the characters in any strong way.

This might be part of the reason why I've had a bit of a hard time here. You know, typical Slytherin vs Gryffindor head-butts.
It seems easier for me to get along with Slytherdor. Besides that, mostly tricky business. I am not entirely serious, but I do think there could be a kernel of truth to this.

With Ravenclaw, always assume that they thought things through. He knows what he's doing!
Must've been subliminal. Even his username color is blue... Incredible. As a Slytherin I say that he is successful at promoting his own house quite effectively, props to that.

I could see the Nolan/Bale Batman being actually Slytherdor. A lot of the trilogy (especially Batman Begins) deals with courage, bravery, fear. Also, he is not that much of a researcher himself, mostly lets Lucius or his Butler do all the detective work.

Whereas the more stereotypical Batman from the comics and games is rather Slytherclaw.

Not sure about the Ben Affleck Batman. He does seem more Slytherclaw, though.

Now the Batman from the 60s TV series is definitely not Slytherin. More like, Huffledor.
He is entirely different from the typical Batman persona.

Gryffindor: Beta, ExFx, ExTp
Hufflepuff: Alpha SF
Ravenclaw: LII, EII-Ne
Slytherin: Gamma, Delta (contraflow)

But again, those aren't "rules".
For instance, there are even people of opposite Quadras in the same House.

Additionally, Contraflow + Si (valuing) can seem like Se valuing sometimes, in some way. Not exactly sure how it works, but you can see it.

Gotta like myself a Slytherpuff or Ravenclaw among the members, preferences Slytherin X Gryffindor is packed into this combination twice, wouldn't recommend throwing it together. What limitations? Those don't exist in either house!
