Default I come offering cookies and duck gifs

I don't actually have any cookies. That was a clever lie to make you look at my thread. And it worked.

    Hello humans of 16 types!

    http://media.tumblr.com/03d859328650...uw11qz4rgp.gif

I am an IEE. I am also a bird. Not really. Metaphorically.

I'm interested in drama, reading, writing, socionics, Star Trek, and music. Let me know if we have anything in common.

    Welcome, Bird!

I like drama as well. Have you acted in any plays or musicals?
    I'll work on it.

Yes. In a few months I'm going to be an acting major in college. My last show was the Drowsy Chaperone.

I really started focusing on it in my first year of high school, but I've enjoyed it for a long time. My high school drama teacher (who is on this forum as well) encouraged me. I don't really see myself being happy doing anything else. It's not only one of my biggest passions in life, but also one of the few things I'm happy doing hard work for.

Haha, it's not. Thank you though. It's nice to meet you too!

Very cool. Do you have any favorite books or Star Trek episodes/movies/series?

Favourite books? Waaay too many to list. But Dune, The End of Eternity and The Last Question (short story).

    Star Trek?

    The Wrath of Khan
    Q Who
    Who Watches the Watchers
    Chain of Command, Part II
    Duet
    In the Pale Moonlight

I realize there is a fairly consistent Science Fiction theme... oh well.

Oh very cool. I haven't read any of those. I'll have to look into them.

I love all of those Star Treks. Seeing Patrick Stewart in Chain of Command is one of the reasons I wanted to be an actor. He gives me chills. I'm watching the Wrath of Khan right now. And I make a point to watch In The Pale Moonlight every few weeks.

I don't think we have too many things in common although I like Star Trek. I like sleeping, maybe you do as well

@Bird, that's an awesome level of fandom . Chain of Command is one of many reasons the Cardassians are the best variation on Space Nazis in existence IMO.

If you like Star Trek and sleeping then I'm sure we can make it work. How about chocolate?

Damn straight, they are. Garak was always one of my favorite characters though, with the exception of Quark (who everyone knows is the best), he had some amazing lines about truth and lying and stabbing people in the back.

I'd say thank you, but I'm not sure I know how to talk to someone that's invisible.

It's just like talking to someone who is visible. Seeing the invisible, that's the tricky part.

You're right. That was prejudiced of me.

I'm curious as to how one becomes invisible, though. Were there vats of chemicals involved? Or was it a natural thing?
