I've been reading you since a while. Now time to come out of the shadow and step into the light.
Please guide me in typing myself. I am a bit confused and would like to get sure where I stand.
I am very into personality development and work a lot with myself as there is always a possibility to progress.

Besides average Internet and books discoveries (read a lot), I already experienced an intense psychoanalysis (Freud), 2 sessions with a psychologist (during several months each) and average weekly conversations with my mother who is actually a family coach and psychotherapist.

When I was younger (like teen and early or mid 20s), I thought I was Beta.
Now that I am in my mid 30s and I am a lot more confident in what I might be, I'd think I'd be some kind of Alpha species (last 3-4 years).

I used to think negatively about when I was a teen or in my 20s. I do not click with people easily.
At school, I was a bookwarm. At college, I strived for intellectual exchanges. I am a knowledge gatherer.
Do not even know how to explain. I inspire some kind of intellectual connection with people and it happens almost never.
In romantic relationship, I need that exceptional brain food mixed with unexplained soul connection and physical attraction.
I am perfectionistic in everything I do. Hard with people and even harder with myself.
Now that I am older, I am just aware that I am the only person that will be there for me till the very end. I accept.

If you took the test with the slider...I suggest taking it again and being very mindful of how you adjust the slider. Also check out the dichotomies first because they explain how the questions are being asked. So taking the test without knowing the context of the questions is difficult.

Whether it's Beta Ni or Gamma Ni, only you know for sure (If this were Vegas, and someone wanted to make odds -- I'd place my bet on beta INFp, Ni subtype -- with your Genf photos giving me pause... But what a wonderful city!)

Also the type description on sociotype. There are a lot of contradicting things.
I am a very bad hostess and not motherly at all.
I do have a soft and a bit fragile physique. Nevertheless I got a very strong temper.
If I was forced to choose between SiFe and TiSe based on overall descriptions, I'd pick TiSe.

LostinDreams, I think you may be ILI-Ni. We tend to get a lot of IEIs on this forum, and not sure if people threw you in that type as you're a girl, but you seem to VI like an ILI and seem to come across that way in your writing, typical NT.

This sounds like typical NT-ness, pursuit of intellectual exchanges, etc. You also seem to lack Fe to me. I don't see any emotional expression from you. Things like "That was a nice compliment, thank you." seem very formal to me, seems like Te. I would expect an IEI to be much more expressive and to ideally connect with people more. But your style seems more formal and a bit dryer, more professional in a way, more like ILI.

And MBTI and socionics don't share an evenly direct correlation, but a fair amount of people can 'flip' the "J" and "P" in MBTI to find their socionics type. So INTJ in MBTI can become INTp in socionics, or ILI. In this case, I do believe this rule applies to you.

You're very beautiful (and I wish you were in my quadra, not a conflictor), but compare how you VI with some of these other ILIs:

Thank you for your time and consideration, I really appreciated your post. Also your compliments.
Besides, Kristin Scott Thomas is the essence of elegance in my eyes.

I would say, I do value Fe, though it might not be my naturally preferred form of feelings. Maybe I learnt to use it?
I used to have a lot of all kind of issues with people when I was younger, as very blunt and a bit bossy in my way of taking a position or making decisions. I am rarely wrong in my choices/decisions, but sometimes people realize it later.
I am also extremely analytical in relationships and hate playing games.

Unexpected circomstances do shake me and can make me grow very angry during a couple of seconds but very shortly after I coldly analyze the situation to find the best solution. I hate crying and emotional outbursts of a kind but the irony is that I got a very strong temper... I try to work it out, but it's not easy.
Example: realized I forgot my trainers just before the sports session (I am a champion to forget such things or to loose my keys or my mobile 10 times per day). Extremely upset for a few seconds blaming my poor organization. Then thought that it was not that bad, could do some stuff at home that I never get the time to accomplish. Chilled out, forgot it. But during this first reaction, if people around, please ignore me, I am an explosion of nerves.
