    Here's a short view of my dual relations with my cousin
    I am typing on the IPain now (thanks Ann ) because it's annoying and hard. I just look at this video and say that it's only 38 seconds long imagine the length of this in 35 years that amounts to JOY

    Dual type (as per tcaudilllg)
    Enneagram 5 (wings either 4 or 6)?

    I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    I personally know 2 couples married. They are happy. I know couples who are dating or in some communication with each other - happy. I have been there too - perfect.

    @Fetornado
    Call me old fashioned but I shortly define successful marriage as good and not ending in divorce.
    0/3 + sex issues ... color me mortified

    Talking about you obviously. Maybe you should not have brought up such things if you did not want to talk about them.

    How funny. I personally have everything I could hope for! and no issues. And I prefer not to cheat - maybe that will clear some thing? Or this forum is full of crazy people who jump to crazy conclusions?

    What crazy conclusions would those be?
    You have said you have married 3 duals.
    We even checked that you have not been married with them at the same time.
    So that means the minimum of 2 ended marriages, with divorce being most likely reason.
    Then since you are talking about being super close with some LII but not being physical, that means 3rd marriage also ended or he is your husband and things are even more ... sad.

    2 out of 3 were LII and ESE. 3 one was between sei and ile.

    So, should I start sleeping with all people I like? Otherwise I would be seen as sad and with issues? Ha! If that is the case - then whatever. Think what you want.

    Are you both single? Or are you in such a close friendship despite being in sexual/romantic relationships with other people?

    I've been with an ESFj for over 10 years with yet no sign of the relationship ending, if that can be considered any measure of success; however, I've been in relationships with other ESFj that were very difficult. I think duality is not much of a factor in a successful relationship when considered alongside cultural, economic, educational, religious, political and ethical (the dictionary meaning) differences, and many relationships have to deal with a lot of emotional baggage as well. The number of unhappy relationships are always going to outweigh the happy ones because the odds are stacked against success, and duality won't tilt the scales one iota......
