I've read online like... sx lasts saying that sex isn't about "intense merging" for them; like it's all about sheer physical pleasure or some sort of companionship feeling. Some sx-lasts I know in real life actually give me vibes of being asexual.
W/ so-last I imagine sx/sp and sp/sx to be different...? Like sp/sx be more focused on the subjective feeling the emotionally interactive aspects parts of sex were bringing, and sx/sp more focused on the sustaining the mutual charge. I think with sp/sx I experience more of a "cut-off" feeling, like it's not about "us" ultimately, maybe more about what we are helping each other experience side by side.
I'm sp-last and sp should be that "physical pleasure" realm but I don't know how that would affect things since all people do sex for physical pleasure... do they not? I do remember when dating an sp/sx he would get very finicky and particular about positions, etc, and I didn't care and wanted to just be more in the moment/flow (and we were duals.) Is that sp-last?

ive been thinking about this. cuz my sp/sx instinct stacking is the thing i'm #1 most sure of.
being in the moment/flow is important to me. so i don't think sp-firsts are necessarily finnicky. but i still want to change something if it isn't working at all. i will compromise some awkwardness/buzzkill if it leads to getting off.
i don't really think of sex in terms of "merging," thats more a sometimes unfortunate byproduct of it lol.
there is a transcendant feeling, but its not necessarily about 2 souls finding eachother or whatever sx sort of thing. its almost more like a connection with nature, as stupid as that sounds, or a connection with the uncivilized part of myself. i don't want to say its more personal/individual because that doesn't really feel right. more like a connection with archetype? "side-by-side" sounds like a clinical way to describe it from my pov.

i believe this is true. matches up with my experience. sp types seem to have a certain way of doing things, habits, techniques when it comes to physical things and this seems to apply also to sex. this video makes me think of sp-last (shakira doesn't seem to be focused on her own body and not very 'precise' vs the guy)
