I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. Well, you could try by recording your observations of your external behavior. For instance, a big trait of Te base is organization. How organized are you? And a big trait of Te DS is needing someone to organize things for them, NOT to suggest how to organize things because DS is sort of like what you want someone to do for you not with you.

I might buy that. But I think doing is more relative to Si creative and "helping".

Yes, IEE like and prefer Suggestions. I have brought several situations with my mom and I and her Te creative, when she tells me "honey, do this and that and organize this that way and this..." She's an introvert, like myself and would like a more E type to start doing things out of good use of energy which both she and I lack. My dual cousin, on the other hand, picks up the tools and starts doing it herself, which takes the pressure off of me and allows me to concentrate what I'm good at, Fi, maintaining and keeping our relationships close, contacting others, as she can be antisocial, helping plan parties, etc.
E's are geared to the external world, things/situations/instances are not being absorbed into the inner world where the person gets "lazy" and reflects instead of taking action and doing.

anyway i know i've been being kind of a douche lately and i'm not going to try to explain my motivations or why they're more than just "attention seeking" because having the expectation that i should be understood is a big part of my problem so i'm trying not to care anymore.
i think i'm better at organizing things than most people, but i don't always feel like it. i don't tell other people how to organize and i don't remember ever being asked to.
What approach do you take to organizing things? What method/system/approach to you use, for example your clothes.
