Default What I like about being me

    I never need a clock.

I'm outside with my dad starting at about 3:30. After a while, he asks me what time it is. I tell it's about 4:30. For some reason, I can usually judge how much time has past, so he turns on the radio outside and it's 4:28. I was like w00t. This has happened a couple time beforehand.

Is that a Ni or Si trait, to know what time is it, within a couple minutes.

lol, yeah, I do that too. I used to have a running contest with a friend of mine I worked with at UPS where he'd test me sporadically throughout the shift. It also tends to work out that I can usually wake up whenever I need to without an alarm clock. Functionally, I don't know what that is or anything.

my hubby is pretty good at that. i'm better at knowing the right time to DO something, which has nothing to do with a clock or calendar.

Oddly enough I do this as well, but it's more of an unconscious thing for me.

If I set an alarm for the morning, I'll almost always wake up a minute before it goes off.

When someone asks me during the day, I'm usually pretty close, although sometimes I'll second guess myself, only to find out my first instinct was closer than what I said instead of my first guess.

Sometimes when I'm not sleeping well I'll wake up every hour and a half or so, and I'll always know "it's gotta be 4:20 or something, still 3 hours to sleep."

yeah, my hubby does all of that too. he's also really good at guessing other math and time things. we play little games where we all guess what time we're going to pull into our driveway. he's always the closest or right on. or when grocery shopping, he guesses the amount of the total and comes within a dollar of a few hundred dollar bill. he does that kind of stuff a lot.

    They are huge.

And they randomly quack. Usually they just peep. Then you hear a QUACK.

    it's very weird.

babies grow up too fast. my "baby" is almost a teenager and is almost as tall as me.

the ducklings sound like a boy's adolescence when their voice starts to change. my boy's hasn't done that yet.

    they sound cute.

yeah, i can pretty darn accurate at times, but i have to focus, focus, focus. and yes, many wonder where my head is at most of the time, even though i'm in constant motion. and it's funny because if someone says "did you hear me?" i can say what they said to me verbatim. lol it always surprises my hubby.

Ugh I am hopeless at quoting stuff verbatim especially if someone says something to me, but also lyrics, poems etc. That is one talent I'd really wish I'd had.

this made me laugh because you used "lyrics" and "poems" in the same sentence and it made me think about how the IEI is described in the Russian translation as "lyric poetries" lol

(sorry. I know that was random)

but in response to the other, I'm very good at knowing the exact time also. I never wear a watch.

Always (or when I am really "open") when I look at a digital watch there is always a special meaning about it. Like why did I just look at the time right now? If i'm about to do something and I check my watch and it is 13:37 then I know whatever im doing, it's gonna be good but if it is 13:38 then I really need to be careful.

also I always find to look at the time when it's like 22:22 or 0.00 or 14.44, you have to be careful about that to. prenounce 4 in japanese is the same as death I often microwave my food for 44 secs a time. So my food will really be dead

These things add up to make me feel like the special unique person I am, the center of the universe.

you're so funny! i do similar things, especially with numbers and the clock that way. 11:11, my fav. i'm not superstitious in that "negative" way though. numbers are cool.

so i get to our house this morning and the first thing my hubby tells me (he's sleeping there until we get the remodeling done) is that he woke up at 4am.

why? did you stay awake or go back to sleep?

i stayed awake, there was a football game on (rerun) that i wanted to see.

and you knew it was 4am?????

yeah, i must have just known. i wanted to see that game.

at that point i had to fill him in on this thread. too funny!

I can't keep track of time at all. Ever. Unfortunately, I also tend to break watches.

Basically, I have no idea what's going on.
