Jack Leo Van Impe (born February 9, 1931[1]) is a televangelist who is known for his half-hour weekly television series Jack Van Impe Presents, an eschatological commentary on the news of the week through his interpretation of the Bible. The program airs throughout the United States, Canada, and several other countries through both religious broadcasters and the purchase of paid programming time on commercial television stations. Van Impe's website claims that he is known as the "Walking Bible" because of his extensive memorization of Bible verses.[2] His wife Rexella Van Impe shares his TV ministry.

whenever i catch his show on late at night, i can't tear my eyes away from the screen. it hypnotizes me, lol. and i always wonder how many people who watch the show take it 100% seriously.

I don't, when people use religion to persuade people like that, it sounds very phony and brain washed. there are others who can convinced people better than that.

yeah i don't think that show is targeted towards devout Christians so much as... idk, conspiracy theorists? who happen to be Christian? sometimes i wonder if its meant to be a joke or something. like after the cameras turn off they all burst out laughing. its just too crazy.

Yea it's like the bill-o Reilly show, they do it to such extreme not because they believe it, but because it's extreme and that people will watch it and boost ratings.

My quick impression is that the guy is SLE. He has a flexible and non-linear use of syntax, which points more to irrational IMO. And [I don't think this is a requirement to be SLE, but he] does everything he can to flavor his speech.

He's focused on reducing things to their structural components (like when he takes apart an event by reducing it to a couple of basic components, and reconstructs it by correlating those components with his theoretical understanding of the bible).

An LSE would probably focus more on describing or modeling actions (and their intended consequences) directly as they're seen. They accept actions as is, without deconstructing them into more basic Lego blocks.

Also note how he constructs one long chain of cause-effect, the next event pedals off the previous one. That's something I notice a lot in Te dominants.

His spaced-out wife looks like a lot like IEIs I know. She doesn't have the self-control I associate with IJ, but I'm not sure beyond that.
