LOL When I was a child I realized I had a knack for inadvertently challenging perception by asking innocent questions or giving honest, innocent or silly opinions. I decided that maybe that is a strength. I still have filters though unlike many people. You think there is something wrong with that?

It gets people thinking and expands their consciousness I hope. Too many are on autopilot when it comes to understanding themselves so they project it onto others. If you are focused on others you don't have to look inside yourself and see what is really there.

Like seriously if no one speaks up then no one learns anything new and are just wasting away in their own bubbles of delusion. I was in my own bubble of delusion so I have gotten pretty good at spotting it. I am not a child anymore. If this seems Se or sx/so so be it but the fact remains that people typing me do not know enough about me and probably even less about themselves. People only know as much as I allow... I considered making a typing list. If I made one I would likely include a short summary of my reasons for that typing.

However, I couldn't think of anyone who's type I disagreed with, then, I did think of one or two whom I doubt, but I could not see the reason for the application of effort to put it forward in a post, it would mostly be senseless drama.

If this changes and I have a strong urge to present a list, I will. Perhaps it would serve for reference rather than for potentially perceived identity challenge.

So, I looked through a number of Olimpia's typings on her "VIP blog" (Go here for my take today on Olimpia's enneagram type) and found a reoccurring tell for EII-Fi. For example, she's got Barack Obama typed a 6w7 as well as Eminem, Rhonda Rousey and Amy Schumer 6w7s. I could understand mistyping one of them a 6w7 but to actually think they are all the same type to me is unfathomable. Eminem and Barack Obama and Amy Schumer and Rhonda Rousey all the same type, wow. Eminem and Amy Schumer maybe the same stack, but the same type, no way. Obama is clearly not in the reactive triad. Amy Schumer is a textbook example of a 7 and Rhonda Rousey is absolutely not a 6w7. Rousey and Schumer are most definitely sx-lasters. There's no way that Eminem, Amy Schumer and Barack Obama share similar defense mechanisms, motivations, core desires and core avoidances. Stacking can't account for those differences, nothing can. Even a couple of my friends who have no knowledge of typology know that Obama and Eminem would have to be different personality types in any typology of personality.

Then I'm also looking at the cross-logic of her typings (it's hard to determine because her sample size is so small and not organized by type). But she's got ****** as a sx/so 6w5 and then Amy Schumer as a 6w7 sx/so. That's just not an organically logical transition....the differences between ****** and schumer are so vast that to have them so close together (as the same core type and stacking) lacks believability. The typings aren't well thought out. Those are just two small examples, but the same pattern is repeated throughout the entire list and certainly doesn't justify a view that her typings have financial value.

But of particular importance in distinguishing EII-Fi from IEI is the weakness in cognition. The weakness differ.
Let me make clear that all socionic types can be bad typers but the cognition underlying their mistypings varies. With EII, the PoLR Se makes EIIs poor typers because they lack that ability to size people up by qualia. The end result of this Se PoLR is they type people the same type that are clearly not the same personality styles.

On the other hand, IEI poor typers will mistype due to an off-the-rails intuition they have about the type itself, but the way IEIs group examples tends to value naturalism. The IEI could mistype Obama a 7w6 for some unconventional view they have about 7w6s but still have enough Se-seeking to recognize that Obama and Eminem are fundamentally different personalities. IEI mistypings are usually complimented by a very unique, creative way of seeing the types. Ni/Fe tends to be very good at grasping emotional centers. In contrast, EII-Ni's poor typings are typically complimented by a more conventional/cliché view of the types.

So yeah, my typing for Olimpia is revised to EII-Fi. I'm sure she's not IEI.

Prince Andrei: IEE-Fi

Andrei is a clear feeler. His self-typings are infused by his wish to be the dual of the individual he happens to be infatuated with at any particular moment.

He saw himself as a LSI as early as 2009 because an EIE he claims was the love of his life and suspects that she secretly reciprocated these feelings:

She's recently came back from a 3 month vacation abroad and just before she left I talked to her for a while at the local bar and my was telling me that she may have been interested in me. I wasn't getting a lot of resistance from her, the conversation between us was flowing easily (as is the case for most dual interactions).

So when she got back from her vacation, I got her number from a friend and gave her a call about a week ago. She sounded pleased to hear from me and was telling me enthusiastically about her vacation and about her new job (she was on a lunch break when I called her). I suggested that we meet up for coffee sometime and she replied 'yeah sure', without any hesitation or delay. So I suggested that she get back to me to tell me when she was free. As her lunch break was about to end, I couldn't lock in a time and place to meet up over the phone.

Since then I've sent her a text message asking her about her schedule and I've rung her a couple of times. So far she hasn't replied to my message and hasn't answered my calls. I don't know what she's thinking. When we first met our eyes locked for about 3 seconds. I have a sneaking suspicion that she cares deeply about me as I do about her - though I could be wrong.

Now that he has fallen in "love" with an 18 year old IEI, he magically realizes at the ripe old age of 34 that he was an SLE-Ti all along.:

I'm SLE-Ti. I can tell through the EP temperament in relation to the IP and EJ temperaments. With an EIE friend, we get on really well but the relationship feels more like activity due to rhythms being out of sync. But with the IEI it just feels the little bit better, just right. It is duality, it just is.

Andrei's self-identification contains too much "entanglement with other" for Se/Ti and is exclusively defined by his relationships (Ne/Fi) and more so by his feelings for the person he's involved with. IEE sometimes does this because it makes them feel more confident in the relationship to mirror the dual of the person they are "in love" with. IEE is an obsessively romantic type. Andrei is smooth and adaptable.

Furthermore, SLE-Tis very rarely mistype as LSI and if they do they retype very quickly. SLEs is one of the types that has no problem figuring out their type. Andrei has known about socionics as far back as 2009. Moreover, SLE-Ti would never even refer to themselves as a prince. King, yes. General, yes. I know female SLEs who refer to themselves as queens. But not prince or princess. See IEE for that...definitely not SLE-Ti.

So there's an IEI I find very attractive and we're really close friends. In fact we recognise each other as soulmates and chat to each other online everyday (no surprise to anyone who knows socionics given we're duals) and our chats are full of playful teasing and jokes. We also catch up in person once a month or so and feel the leveling of energy that duals experience (we spend 4 or 5 hours together and the time flies by and is never awkward). He's also much younger than me, 14 years younger actually and still only 18! As extraordinary as that is what makes it even more extraordinary is that we originally met simply by him serving me groceries at a corner store every week - and we built up a friendship from there.

We both love each other and hold each other in high esteem. He's amazed that I can tell he feels bounded by a special energy and that I can tell his soul is poetically elevated (I know many IEIs feel this but I actually believe it's true!). He sees me as a very capable and successful person, setup with a house and prestigious career (which is objectively true) and wants to emulate me in that regard. In fact he wants me to help look after him in his career and work for me later on. We've occasionally joked about him being the stay at home partner just wandering about while I'm the breadwinner. I think the easy life appeals to him as it does many IEIs.

Se/Ti cognition cuts through the BS. That's the cognition to look for ("cutting through the BS"), especially with the Ti subtype. Trump would be the perfect example but I have listed many such examples on various threads. See the above phrases I bolded. Andrei's cognition does not cut through the bs. It is imaginary, amorphous and 'poetic'. He's seeing air castles in the sky. Ne/Fi cognition augments that type of perception.

Olimpia might be a 3w4, but I'm pretty sure she is so/sx. In any case, I think there are some mistyped 4's that are actually 3's, 6's, 2's, or something else. 4's aren't so common, or at least I don't see them IRL often. As an example of a 4; crazedrat probably was a legit 4.
