Yes, I think so too (Many goths or emos are actually not 4s). I read somewhere about 4s experimenting with different styles and going through different phases trying to find who they are or what would make them unique. I had a goth phase once, even called myself gothkitty haha, but I wasn't truly Gothic. I'd dress like it, but I wasn't. Then i got into a tomboy-ish "trap" phase.I'm in a different phase now, classy grown-up, and I'm sure it'll change. Mostly goths are Ni type or F type, Ni type likes the darkness and it's an opportunity for some Fe types to be emo. F types, specially Fe types like to portray their moods through their clothing, and hairstyles.
Many 9s and especially 6s can dress unconventional as like an outlet for their individuality and weirdness because it's so covered up in their personality. Or as like a counter-phobic thing, for both of them.

There's something weird about her as a four. In the sense that her personality and the persona she puts out isn't as 'refined' or neurotically in check/restricted as a 4 (because of shame and self-consciousness, which is the main issue for type 4). Sx 7 is fairly 4ish in that it seeks pain more than a usual 7 because part of sexual instinct is romantic masochism. Plus she has a secondary 4 fix. The 8 fix helps with the volatility and bluntness, too. She's also too warm to be a 4. 4s withhold their warmth and limit themselves because they have a neurotic self-image of themselves as broken.
When i was thinking her as core 4 i thought 4w3, but now that thats her fix it could probably be 4w5 actually.
Fiona and Bob Dylan (4):
Clear contrast here in the way Bob Dylan is more 'refined', aka restricting himself and his personality. Fiona is much more 'loose' and happy-go-lucky, not fixated on what she looks like (image type and this image fixation is more exaggerated in type 4 than any other image type because of negative self image). Theyre actually the same tritype and stacking.

I'm breaking off some habits and I've been trying different affirmations on and off over the past year to see what helps the most. "I am safe and I am secure." doesnt help like it helps others, I suppose thats not my trigger point. but it seems "I am complete." has hit the effect on my wellbeing.

I know. But! I interpreted it more as search for identity, not peeling off masks which is SO 3 indeed. The general ideas was: "Who am I?" I remember having the same debate with @Olimpia elsewhere. 3 gives more of a deceptive, manipulative feeling. Like here:
There is glee for 3w4. For 4w3, there is more misery of that authentic core self which I thought was depicted well.

@nanashi i dont put that much 'faith' in socionics as an actual theory but if it was the case, a socionics type wouldnt magically cover up parts of an enneagram type because that defeats the purpose of someone being the type - it no longer has a problem.

its like the same with adele.. she's a sx 7w6 and writes sad songs but the sad songs most of the time have a positivy part or hope to them even though theyre sad. like "someone like you", "when we were young", "send my love", "hello"
7 has a theatrical element like you'll see that type sometimes in theatre, them acting out sad scenes and being drawn toward that, because its a way to do sadness without actually being sad. i dont know very much about it, but ive seen people pointing this out on forums and it makes sense.
also, 7s (and 9s) are usually the people who are like "im soooo sensitive" because they expect the world to be a nice place and as a type, you see the rest of the world from your perspective. a 7 will want to keep people happy, so they expect other people to do this aswell. they dont want any bad news because theyre so sensitive to it (and as a 7 pain is their fear). whereas a 4 and 6 are expecting bad news and sadness on a regular basis (esp 4). theyre drawn to it and therefor used to it, therefor they appear to 'suck it up' more than 7s and 9s. though im not saying all 7s and 9s are like this.

For me, it would be the sick and blurry colors. I noticed it's likely a sunrise scene, which means he's been up to no good during nighttime. Another thing that struck me was that the masks on the ground are all the same, no idea what that means.

Has anyone seen the 2002 movie Secretary? I believe she's a 4 and he's a 1. I'm not sure subtypes. BDSM theme aside, it's really about love and the relationship. In fact I think its the only BDSM movie that doesnt have toxic love in it or actual signs of abuse. I love the way the protagonist and the movie describes love. I really like this sx 1w9 guy for a few months now. Hes the kind to ask my opinion on art and stuff and I know he will ask what my favorite love story is. And..
