    Default Just Got Four Stitches

I am not writing this for sympathy I don't want any.

I feel this could be very enlightening as far as typing is concerned I don't want to go into to much detail either.

Yesterday I was working in my workshop on one of my guitars I was using a razor saw to cut through some unbleached cow bone. In case you are wondering bone is typically used for guitar nut and saddle of high end stringed instruments as it has the best tone and the longest wear out of all materials apart from metal which although stronger doesn't have the sweet tonal properties of bone. In the past ivory was used before it became illegal.

Today bone is a great and equal legal substitute.

Needless to say I sliced my finger. I didn't even make a sound. I remember thinking to me self oh crap as I applied a lot of pressure to stop the bleeding.

I called out to father who was at the other end of the house in a loud calm voice a few time until I realized that he could here me. At that point I realized that I would have to go and find him. I held my hands under the cold tap water for a few seconds to wash away the excess blood. and walked to the other end of the house.

After he wrapped my finger up off we went to the hospital were my calmness though all four stitches two shots of Local Anesthetic into my finger and a tetanus shot dumb founded my father.

Here is the kicker as I lay there on the operating table I started to think of jigs I could make and safety gear I could buy to make sure this did not happen again.

Yesterday I was a little upset because I realized that I would be useless for a whole week anyone else would be love to have a whole week to bum around but not me I want to get back to work.

Well folks I failed I went into a lot of detail.

Whenever I get a cut I always think about all of the things I won't be able to do in the coming weeks while the bugger heals. Man I hate getting cuts.

I don't see how this story says this for sure. I've had to take my SLI husband to the hospital twice for very similar circumstances, and he also has a high pain threshold. Strong Si doesn't mean low pain threshold. I still think he could be SLI, though I think it's too early to say for sure. He explains stuff like my husband too - "by the way, we use bone because . . ." Not sure he's SLI but I can't see how people are ruling it out so soon. Well only you and Bolt.

I feel so bad for you.

Mariella, I have reasons to believe that he's a Static type, so this is the reason why Si/Te is excluded. There are the other, too, like Se-Valuing, and to me those arguments "but I can do that, too" are irrelevant, because one thing is to *be able* to do something and actually doing it, or even more, being your trademark (the type value).
I'm not ruling out anything, but I'm basing my typing on the evidence; if the future provides contradictory one, then be it, but it's absurd to anticipate traits that we don't have any evidence on so far.

Was a joke referring to rambunctious behavior and valuing.
