    Default The LIE/ENTj's Ideal Wardrobe

The last fashion thread of my Gamma series (SEE, ILI, ESI) aka the ENTj's ideal wardrobe! Thanks for bearing with me

    Factors I considered:

    - "always on the move"
    - the wearer is and congruently appears well-informed
    - clothes can be used for all sorts of activities
    - neat, plenty of light colors
    - just like the ILI, they are not straightforward about their victim-ness. But LIEs tend to blur the lines more
    - the fashion is more outward-focused, radiating instead of drawing energy inward
    - dreamy intuitive flair, highbrow elegance, aesthetically pleasing
    - quirky "it-pieces"
    - modern looks galore, making a statement is key
    - revised retro designs
    - straight out of Tron
    - stimulating, brisk, active, impressive
    - screaming colors are avoided, maritime ones favored
    - assertive, even cocky and a lot less conservative than the ESI
    - despite its creative silhouettes, the fashion maintains a rigidity
    - sports quite a lot of massive elements, but at the same time is made of light fabrics, too
    - business attire can be fancy, innovative
    - intricate materials, LIE has probably done a lot of research about that
    - can be `neo-fashion´, basically fresh off the runway
    - pieces fulfil their function but can make caregivers raise an eyebrow at their health implications
    - LIE neglects leisure, that's why the leisure is realized in the apparel
    - basically airport fashion
    - intellectual vibe, smart in every sense of the word

This is great. I believe someone once described LIE style as "taking function over fashion to the impractical extreme". I've always thought that was spot on.

I love these threads. Do delta next!

My experience has been that LIEs mostly just dress not to be noticed for how they dress. Their clothes are mostly just professional and boring. I'm sure it depends on the LIE though.

this is basically how I dress, very conventionally and just kind of boring really. I focus on the quality of the clothes I wear, that's all.

So I didn't manage to empathise with OPs description of LIE fashion. Actually I empathised much more with the ESI version. But this is for females I think, after all.

As female LIE my clothes are very sporty and even though there are lots of clothes in my wardrobe I always get phases where I keep wearing the same clothes over and over again, because they are comfortable and fit better than others, and I don't have to use Si if I wear the same things. Mostly jeans and a green casual shirt cause green is also my favorite color. My mood doesn't affect my clothing

This is true for male LIEs for sure. Some female LIEs do seem to pay some attention to how they dress, though I'm not sure what exactly would make it distinctive. At most it's sort of a low-key version of what female Se leads do.

I like to dress sporty with bright colors and highly technical materials.
I am not allowed to because any kind of slightly corporate work doesn´t allow that.
So now I like french fashion. When I have to work with customers I guess I wear something like this:

I have 3 suits + trousers combos who all look like this, my ESI gf finds it funny but practical.
Classic but it has some shiny-bright feel. Warning: the model is more attractive than me
I hate grey and black with a passion.

Yes, I also thought that this picture was a bit "out there". That is the most preppy an LIE would go. When an LIE is very fashion conscious (core 3) and probably has a personal SEE stylist. I thought that it is the closest to Chae's description.
