    Default Mathematical Functions illustrating temperaments.

I used to be a fan of DSP, so I had those ideas in mind today at 3AM or something.

Let's suppose Y is in the interval [-1;+1].

    EJ : y=INT(SIN(x)) - square pattern ; balancing between +1 and -1.

    IP : y=SIN(x) - sine pattern

EP : y=RND - random pattern or white noise.

    IJ : y=0 - constant pattern

You see how EJ and IP are dynamic and how EP and IJ are static...

    I disagree. I think it's more like...
IJ y=0.5*sinx Very calm and slowly changing sin graph.
EJ y=sinx (your version might be better. I don't know what it looks like.)
    IP - white noise
EP - 2x white noise, with less fluctuation. Maximum is bigger.

EP and IP are like the ones shown on the graph.
    EIE, ENFj, intuitive subtype.
    E3 (probably 3w4)

Cool ILI hubbys are better than LSIs any time!

I quite agree with Kristiina, because I stipulated pure temperaments.

Mitin says that individuation goes through the golden proportion.

    An IJ would be 62% I, 62% J, 62% static, 38% E, 38% P, 38% dynamic.

An IJ is approximately 38% IJ, 23% EP, 23% EJ, 16% IP.

Functions should be mixed each other.

    An IJ is more : .25 * (0*.38 + noise*.23 + intsin(x)*.23 + sin(x)*.16)

But I partly disagree because it contradicts Pavlov's descriptions :

    EJ strong-balanced-mobile
    IJ strong-balanced-inert
    EP strong-unbalanced
    IP weak

As for the EP - white noise correlation, well, one could say that EPs actually see a myriad rainbows within that "noise" whereas others glance and see the white result.
Because EP-typed psyches differentiate better EP material.

    Analogy with Model T :

    E is level of excitation
    I is level of inhibition

    E low I high : sine wave - weak
E high I low : white noise - strong, not balanced
E high I high : square wave - strong, balanced, mobile
E low I low : mute - strong, balanced, inert

For example, LII : Logic is sine, Intuition is mute, Ethics is square, Sensing is noise.

On Introtims, functions 1234 have this pattern : sine-mute-square-noise
On Extrotims, functions 1234 have this pattern : noise-square-mute-sine
