Default Intertype relations: energizing, soulful, comforting

    1) Which type relations make you feel like you are connected with the person on a soul level??

    2) Which type relations leave you feeling energized after interacting with the person?

    3) Which type relations make you comfortable around the person and just trust him/her?

I know some of the things I asked have been discussed in some other threads but it would be great if you guys can answer the questions again. I want to figure out the possible type relation I have with a friend....

To me, mainly intra-quadra relationships, except with overly Se-ESFps (ie activity), plus semi-dual.

    Activity, benefit (not always), super-ego.

Same as (1), plus some individuals in (2), not always.

These are my personal answers, not general ones.

Why do people you have superego relationships make you feel energized?

An addendum: intertype relations between statics and dynamics should leave the dynamic calmer and the static energized after the interaction. So for example it would be natural for an ESTj to say that an INFj makes him/her feel relaxed and for an INFj to say that an ESTj makes him/her feel energized.

    Soul level: ENFp ISxj INxp
    Energized: ENFp ESxp-Se INFp
    Comfortable: ISTj, ISFj-Fi

Hmmm -- I'm guessing now, but I think I get a feeling of -- understanding from the same temperament, and in ESFj's cases I guess I unconsciously perceive their as "energetic- ". Not sure how that would work for others. It does go against what you'd expect theoretically, but people generally seem attracted to their super-egos, at least initially.

I don't know that I have experienced all of the relations, probably most of them at some point but I just haven't realized it or haven't spent enough time with a person of that relation to really know.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
