Default Chandra Mohan Jain aka Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh

Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain, also know as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, also known as Osho. controversial philisophical leader who refused to attach one label to his philosophy or self. thus the thread title. i suppose i should have been careful with my choice of words. some do not read threads before responding. i do not want folk to discuss the weather or myself.

If you answer based purely on VI and do not possess knowledge of him or plan to acquire it through means of google, altavista, yahoo!, etc., please indicate so.

    Materials.

    Totally wild guess -- SEI.

I'll follow the topic and look into him more.

I really like the guy from what I read about him in that wiki article. (and I can agree with him on the goodness of NO2  )

It seems most are not familiar with him.

ISFp was one of my considerations -- his overall values point to alpha. However, he seemed too combative to be ISFp...i.e. thrown out of universities for constantly debating professors and questioning their knowledge, not following other rules. When he was threatened with expulsion, he insisted that the university change their rules to fit him and not the other way around. I also had ENTp in mind or perhaps a Beta type.

Thanks for attempting to lead me out of confusion Rick, even if it was done wildly and thank you bionic for bringing life to this thread.

Lots of emphasis on Ni in his quotes. His expressions are much more aggressive than that of any ISFp's or ENTp's that I've seen, and his pattern of thought is similar to that of Rabindranath Tagore's -- Ni without Te -- except he doesn't have the internal restlessness to him that's suggestive of Si PoLR + Se HA ("So busy I used to be under the belief that I was indispensable, that I hardly dared to wink"). And like Garrison Keillor, he talks so slowly that it's sleep-inducing.

I can see ENTp in his smile, but with his blurry thinking... I'd say Beta NF, INFp > ENFj, Fe subtype.

it is sort of sad to me that men such as these are being categorized by science

Don't worry -- the categorizing is mutual

Here's an article about Osho that also mentions J. Krishnamurti and Gurdjieff.

I still don't know what to make of him, but I agree that EIE or IEI seems a better fit than SEI. I might still consider SLE and ILE as well.

In the article no. But they often refer to science as the product of a narrow use of the brain that doesn't access any higher planes or states of consciousness.

I'm inclined to go SEE or IEI and xxFP type for sure.
