    Default Your favorite type.

    and why?

I find it odd why I don't find my dual the most appealing of all types, and mused about others reasons for their preferences. This is a multifaceted post. This belongs in General Discussion.

My favorite type would still be my dual. But that's only because the feeling of dualism.

If I should take another type just based on the description, I would probably choose an ISTP.

Because they are doing all those dangerous things. (some of them)

ENTP's. I always seem to get along really well with them. I never feel pressure to be someone I'm not. Never feel judged by them as I would other types. I find their viewpoints interesting.

ENFp, but I'm mostly basing that on my close friend and her admirable way of doing things.

When I first studied socionics I found INFp to be the most attractive type, which is partly why I chose it for myself. I think there is something to the theory of whatever type you idealize most is the type you likely are. This is probably only applicable before you've been exposed to other people's biases against functions and types.

Favorite type to spend time with are ESXps. I'm attracted to their lack of inhibition and fearless approach to life.

ISTps and ISFps. Am I unusual that it's my dual and semi-dual?

I'm comfortable beyond measure with ISTps. And I have a huge warm feeling when I'm around ISFps. I just adore them.

Anyways ESTj and ESFp are quite high on my list. I'm not very strickt about this though. I know good individuals from many types. My ESTp sister in law is awesome for example.

oh yeah, I also like Introverted ESFp's. The women are usually very nice, ambitous, and realistic.

ISTjs in theory (I like the traits, but never identified the real subtype ISTj). In practise, I think I like INFjs the most. They laugh at my goofy jokes and we seem to have a lot in common without stepping on each others feet. I have a lot in common with ESFjs too, but real-life conversations are somehow painful to experience. (kinda like slow death while being wide awake.)

    INTj - it's my type and I'm narcistic .
No, really, I enjoy the uniqueness of the interaction with my identical. The sensation of peace and relief, where you don't have to explain yourself, and you understand how the other person "ticks".

For some reason I thought you were an ISTp yourself. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.
    I may be - jury's still out.

Joy thinks I'm an ISTj; INTj also seems a likely candidate, as well as the IxFx types.

For the moment I'm just interested in reading about the various types and dynamics of each, and responding to things I can relate to.

My favourite type? INTp, seeing as I'm one. Others I like (in no particular order)...ESFp (obviously), INFp, ENTj, ESTp, ENFp

There's no real particular reasoning behind my liking the types above, apart from the fact that I've liked people of those types in the past. Perhaps I still like some of them in the present! Who will I like in the future? The future is yet to be seen..

I think my favorite type is INTp. I think I sort of admire and like what I see to be how they handle life. It's kind of odd because I think one of my least favorite types is ESFp. Or maybe not so odd; the INTp's approach to life and values don't have to match their dual's to work with them.

I don't have a favorite, all the types have their problems and inherent weaknesses.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.

Haha, that's how I also decided that I was INFp

    hah! i'm ENTj by your test. (;

i partially agree with this. i think you can trust your intuition on these things in a lot of cases and don't necessarily need the test to know which type applies to you. having said that, i'm the most fond of the ENTj/ISFj dual pair.

ISFps' moods changes too often, too quickly. And they can get so negative. Fun to hang around with, get along well with most though.

How do you feel about the INTj/ESFj duality description? Honestly, in all of the talking we've done, I've never really formed an opinion on your type. Anyways... for most people who have been in a few real relationships, imo the best way them to discover their type is to read duality descriptions, not type descriptions or function descriptions. It's for this reason (the axes are very important).

My first choice ENFP's. I get along with them very well. There funny and goofy. Like alot of ENFP's guys too. and their very sweet people. INTJ second choice as majority can deal with me . Others ESTP,INFP,ISFJ,ESFJ....
    Although these choices very hard.
