Default Another Test

Below are 8 personal qualities. Choose the personal quality that:
- describes you least well; and
- makes you feel most uncomfortable if you try to adopt it as your own personal quality; and
- makes you feel uncomfortable if a person you are dealing with possesses that personal quality.

1. I strive for comfort and good health. I have a good sense of what is beautiful.

2. I think about what will happen in the future, including possible danger. I am imaginative.

3. I am active in budgeting and everyday chores, including finances and household economy. I am business minded.

4. I am enthusiastic and positive. I freely show my emotions.

5. I am motivated and decisive. I rigidly defend my interests.

6. I search for new possibilities and originality. I am creative. I come up with new and unique ideas.

7. I separate things of primary importance from things of secondary importance. I am analytical.

8. I am tactful and diplomatic when dealing with others, which helps me to maintain stable relationships.

I know. At the moment it's just a prototype.

When I know it definately works, I will shorten the descriptions.

I think it's a good test. You might be able to have everyone just list 1-8, or 1-4 as well. might open some new possibilities.

what are those function descriptions from? they're good.

Woah! Hugo, we should code this thing up!

Of coarse, I had trouble choosing between the subtypes, but that's just me.

[ quote=".Kim"].I came out INFj (N subtype).
But then I have been trained to think logically and to engage in
analytical thinking in my field. So I Wouldn't Really Be tempted
To Pick That As a description That Absolutely Doesn't Sound Like Me
although I Knew I Should Have Because It's My PoLR. So I Might
Not Be representative. Had I Picked 7, I would be eNFp with an N
subtype, which I deem correct.[/.quote ]

That's interesting. Are you "ENFP-want-INTj" because you said before that you did not prefer ISTp as a dual (which I thought was strange). Could your dual in fact be ESTj (sensing subtype)?

Default ESFj

Yeppers. 2-4-4, ESFj (f subtype). I think that it may get a little confusing to people when it comes to choosing options. Mainly because its a lot of reading. But otherwise nice work! I'm very impressed.

Kim, you said that you did not prefer ISTps and since you came out as INFjs, you may actually be better matched with an ESTj (S). That's why I thought that it's interesting.

Tell me what you think.

I'm a bit confused. Wouldn't that make me an INFJ?

As for ESTjs;

He does not tolerate procrastination, is an ardent struggler for quality and thoroughness in all work. A good army officer.

With his grumbling emotions he strives to extinguish emotions of others. He believes that redundant emotions tire people

He likes order.

But seriously: Could you explain why I can be an ENFp and have another dual? Could there be another (perhaps ENFp-related) reason why I picked the way I did? Perhaps the idea of being authoritarian is so offputting for me...or something else. I really would like to hear more about it.

Kim, not to forget that ENFp and ESTj are activity partners. Perhaps that ESTj descriptions isn't completely accurate, or is too strong. In addition, ESTjs are an inverse to ISTps.

Do you know any ESTjs (for sure)?

I know an ESTj and ENFp that got on really well and had lots of fun.

No, I don't know any ESTjs for sure...they sound scary, though...

I still don't understand why I can still be an ENFp but could have an ESTj as a dual, though...
