is motion and/or seasickness related to a poor Si inner balance?
do Ne egos or Ni egos get this more? or something else?

Not that I claim to be an expert at it or anything, but I'd imagine it's more related to either physical or mental factors (possibly both) outside of Socionics.. I can see where you're coming from, but I've never experienced motion or sea sickness and I've got as much Si as an unfigged nugget. Which, to be fair, isn't much.

I don't think it's related to Socionics at all. Just some physical issue.
But, to help with stats if that's what you're looking for, I went on a trip with my family and inlaws recently. My father-in-law (ISFp), and I (ENFp) had problems with motion sickness. My husband (ISTp), my mother-in-law (ESFj) and my daughter (ENFp) did not have any problems. We're all from Ne/Si quadras so that might not help anyway.

You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
I don't think it's related... I have friends who are SLI, ILE, and possibly an LSE who get motion and sea sickness. I don't get either. I actually like feeling vaguely topsy-turvy if I drive down a hill really fast, or ride a rollercoaster.
thanks guys. doesn't hurt to ask...
You know why I get motion sick? Because I read in the car and the motion of my eyes while reading is perpendicular to the fast motion outside the window. If I can't see outside or I'm sitting sideways I have no problems.

Very busy with work. Only kind of around.
what it is for me is a loss of physical grounded control. i also need to see what i'm doing.
we drove up north in the mountains last week and the twisty road...oh my god, i was so sick to my stomach. if i drive, i'm a bit better. as i kid, i would have thrown up. airplanes, boats of any type, elevators, but not roller coasters for some reason. for those, i was in the front with arms up.
my kids tease me with swirling their fingers like the road was on our trip and just the motion of their fingers gets me sick to my stomach. also, with each pregnancy it has gotten worse. my last two, i ended up in the hospital with such severe morning sickness. that's one of the main reasons we won't have more.
it's so silly that i jump all around working out but i do a spin turn or swing my kids around in my arms and after one turn i almost throw up.
this isn't related to a cognitive function lol

I have always had problems with motion sickness (to the extent that I can't sit in the back seat on medium to long car trips and have to be the one driving on really long car trips). I do okay on planes for the most part, and I haven't been on the ocean. I'm not sure about altitude sickness either. The last time I was in the mountains I was really sick but I was also pregnant (and I had really bad morning sickness for like 4 months when I was pregnant).
But no, I don't think it's type related.
I don't generally have motion sickness, except if the road is very very twisty and I've just eaten (but in this case, who doesn't)

I never get motion sickness. I used to, but now I can read in the car forever, among other things.
