Yes, I agree that ISTjs are definitely not the robotic stereotype some people see of them... I have an ISTj best friend and she is absolutely hilarious and very upbeat and "sparkling" as she said, with me. With other people she can come across as bitchy/cold but they just don't see the real her.

That first guy definitely reminds me of real ISTjs and their facial expressions.. it's adorable. I always try to imagine myself getting along with them IRL and yes, I can see it with this guy. What I love about ISTjs is that fact that they are assertive, reliable, steady.. etc. but they are totally not stiff either. They know what they want and how to get it.. and plus, they are apt to laugh at almost anything I say, which makes me super happy. I love to see them cracking a smile and it just lights up their face. They definitely share Beta humour.. I've noticed that a lot of ISTjs can go on and on just laughing about something stupid that you wouldn't think they'd like..

agree with you on this. i find quite a few of them to be hilarious. stiff & robotic doesn't describe a lot of ISTjs i know and i'm more inclined to agree with those gulenko descriptions where they talk about them being "the life of the party" and such things.

Really ? I thought as recently as earlier today how much I really like his music even though it could be seen as a bit lame and outdated. I think he is one of very few musicians whose concert I could enjoy from start to finish. I am a bit surprised about ISTj for him, I have never really thought about what type he could be but ISTj kind of seem like it.

Emma Thompson - she's got the softest little weak face. Almost annoyingly so. I am not one bit drawn to her facial features, never have been. In Ti-dominants I see the calm structure and I'm drawn to it.

I think ISTj must be one of the worst types for acting. No Fe, repressed Fi, and Ne as a POLR. I doubt there are that many out there. Non actors I'd say Hillary Clinton is an ISTj as is Condolleezza Rice.

This guy looks too optomoistic and not at all sullen. Not the edgey seriousness of an istj. even when he's being serious he doesn't have that. and he's also clearly exhibiting extroverted feeling which an istj is hardcore private about doing. i would never be interested in this guy. to me he looks like a punk. and also...the quote above to me is way move a conscious Introverted Thinking & Extroveted Intuiting that would belong to the ISTP & ENFP and not the more withdrawn and discreet ENFJ ISTJ pair. ISTJs would frown upon gambling and dislike waste and inefficiency, in my opinion.

He uses social skills to throw his opponents instead of calculating silence (as was alluded to earlier). He's likely some sort of extroverted perceiving type.
A clear ISTj I can think of is Dick Cheney (shivers).
