Default Oh beta beta beta, how do i love thee?

more beta threads were requested, so i'll help out with that lol.

Alpha ILE here. tell me betans, why am i attracted to you? every guy i've ever been with has been a beta, cept for one esfj, and that did not last long.

i've never dated an istj, but have tons of female friends who are istj.

could it be that i am not an ILE? or is there just somethin about y'all?

    hahaha... okay seriously.

Betas are fun. Very intense and energizing. Although even I can't take a full dose of beta too often. With ISTjs it's weird. They behave as if people so often respond negatively to their opinionated nature that they try their best to hide it. They hold back a lot. Even I often feel like shouting in their face, "show some backbone, goddamnit!". According to the theory that's what I'm supposed to do - encourage my dual to behave like my dual.

And betas are indeed hot. I am even intrigued by the metrosexual INFps.

haha. The way I see it, sex is one of the few physical activities where mood-creating can make up for the PoLR.

nah i think that she's ENTp but in my experience ENTps are as much attracted to betas as betas are to ENTps - it's a positive mutual correlation! lol

lol that's cool, i guess. like i say, i have tons of istj friends who i find very practical and restful and down to earth. very reliable people, too. i can tell i bug them sometimes because of their polr but generally we tolerate each other pretty well.

enfj's are fun because they are so dramatic and full of Fe. if a mood can be changed, they are the ones to be able to do it, for sure. they don't take as many risks as i do though, they might not go sky diving with me for example, but they are fun and interesting for sure.

estp's are exciting people. things are always fun around them. but as i've found, i can't really have a close intimate relationship with them. but a casual one is OK. i find i laugh at their jokes a lot and it's fun to watch how they get stuff to happen.

infp's are so mellow and they will talk about anything. plus they have a cool perspective with that Ni. Ni plus Ne has a lot of potential for sure. they are very relaxed but really smart and sensitive. i don't mind doing things for them. they are quite disarming.

@FDG: you think i could be enfj? can you say why?

@misutii: you think definitely entp...can you say why?

ive always liked entp's.....my boyfriend is entp....but some say i am cross-type so, lol

a lot of enfj's are charismatic, therefore, lots are drawn to them

a lot of estp's are confident, which a lot of people like, so therefore, um...people are drawn to them lol

infp's can be mysterious, mysteries can be fun

most istj's are secretly hilarious, i think, so, lol

i myself kind of prefer other company....like entp's...except for enfj's, i like that they keep my mind from stagnating by jolting me...entps do this too for me but not in the same dramatic way

    also i like gamma............even if they don't like me...>;-)

i find ENFjs to be seriously inspiring a lot of the time. they generally make me want to be more responsible/active/bla bla bla. their whole family-oriented/self-sacrificing thing can be super impressive to me.

I felt so damn happy reading this =D The Beta love is much appreciated & your descriptions of us being "glam" & "passionate" definitely sum us up to a tee. That's what I love about this quadra - it's fire, it's passion, the melodrama & poetic stylings ... lmfao

But yah. Maybe you really are Beta yourself? Then again, with such prolonged exposure to Betans, perhaps you feel a kinship with them moreso than of your own Alpha quadra??? Is that so? I dunno. I always feel so comfortable with people of my quadra - everything is absolutely hilarious and I have that elated feeling.

If you feel this way, maybe you should reconsider your type!

You seem very chill and friendly, diamond8.

Perhaps you have stronger Se than usual ENTps, making you have slight ESTp qualities? Meh, I don't know what I'm talking about,

But the illusionary relationship INFp + ENTp is quite good, better than most I suppose. I think intuitive types generally like other intuitive types, hence wanting to be with sorta "the next best thing" to ESTps

Personally, I love ENTps .. I have a weird attraction to them I can't quite pinpoint. It's something about their aura that is very sexual to me, actually. Come to think of it, they are probably the type I am most sexually attracted to and most sexually fulfilled with O___o ... Uh.. yah. I can't help it - they're hilarious

Hide was a bad word...interference is very very good. If I'm uncomfortable enough to hide, I try at least to make it subtle. Or I just make myself scarce in general. Hiding doesn't even come into this, havn't done that in a while.

OK so i have this idea that iei and sle are attracted to alpha, ile and sei are attracted to beta.

lii and ese are attracted to delta.

eie and lsi are attracted to gamma.

due to the relations. true? false?

Attracted to Delta? I don't know, Delta and Beta certainly have different appeals. You could develop this idea. Unless there is already a name for it, you might call them ascending/descending quadras: the ascending quadra has your supervisor and the descending quadra has your supervisee.

I'm not sure how to characterize the relationship atm, though.

HA vs. DS, Program vs. Creative probably matters.

I would agree. People tend to be much more attracted to their supervisees than their supervisors. I also experience similar patterns IRL; I probably have more SLE and IEI friends than Alphas combined.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I have been attracted to ENTps on more than one occasion. I don't know why. The conversation doesn't really flow, there's a constant feeling of misinterpreting each other. They have a certain aura of strength - their Se is strong but predictable (ISTjs have that because they are predictable people with strong Se, but ENTps just aren't confident enough with their role to do unpredictable things with it.)

At the same time I'm engaged to an INTp, so diamond8 might have a point about EIE being attracted to gammas.
    EIE, ENFj, intuitive subtype.
    E3 (probably 3w4)

I know an ENTp IRL just like this.

Can't say I'm good friends IRL with any Deltas. But surely Semi-dual has some effect; I have been friends with at least a couple ENFjs.

i thought about this. i know no sli's. (my semi-dual) i think it's because they face the direction of gamma, so i don't run into them. since i don't usually hang out with gamma.
