    Default Kevin Spacey

The spark in his eye (especially in the last video) is REALLY familiar. What type do you think he is?

    quotes:

For me, coming to work every day has turned out to be exactly what I hoped it would be.

The less you know about me, the easier it is to convince you that I am that character on screen. It allows an audience to come into a movie theatre and believe I am that person.

I don't live a lie. You have to understand that people who choose not to discuss their personal lives are not living a lie. That is a presumption that people jump to.

I find it sad that by not talking about who I sleep with, that makes me mysterious. There was a time when I would have been called a gentleman.

You have to always be ready, always be alive, and always be willing to move in a new direction.

Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again and again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have.

I open myself up every time I walk on screen and give you everything that I am. There are parts of me that are in every movie that I've done. That to me is what my job is.

I'm supposed to convince you, for two hours, that I'm somebody else. Now if you know everything about my life, if you think you've got me figured out and you think you know all my dark secrets, how am I ever going to convince you that I'm somebody else

To know what you want, to understand why you're doing it, to dedicate every breath in your body to achieve... If you feel you have something to give, if you feel that your particular talent is worth developing, is worth caring for then there's nothing you can't achieve.

I feel it's a responsibility for anyone who breaks through a certain ceiling... to send the elevator back down and give others a helpful lift.

Success is like death. The more successful you become, the higher the houses in the hills get and the higher the fences get.

It's so easy for us to misperceive and see the things in others that we want to see. And, when we're wrong, and often we're dead wrong, we miss the truth.

Wanting people to listen, you can't just tap them on the shoulder anymore. You have to hit them with a sledgehammer, and then you'll notice you've got their strict attention.

The legal profession, politics and acting are very closely tied: the whole point is to have an idea and get it across to a listener, whether it is one person or five thousand in a hall.

Sometimes the person who is the most logical is the person whom we call insane.

As the years have gone on, I find one of the dangers of watching dailies... is you fall in love with moments.

Clearly the success of the Netflix model, releasing the entire season of 'House of Cards' at once, proved one thing: The audience wants the control. They want the freedom. If they want to binge as they've been doing on 'House of Cards' and lots of other shows, we should let them binge.

I went through a period of great rebellion within my family, when I was about 9 or 10. I was mad, I had no focus, had no real interest in anything, and so I started to do things that were just rebellious and stupid.

On occasional misconceptions by women that he is gay: "For them it's a challenge. They want to be the one to turn me around. I let them."

There is no prize, out there. The only prize is, this one, and what you feel and what you want to accomplish. And if you can, as you start out, these what could be lean years or could be fat years. I feel that I very often watch a lot of young people sort of meander around without any idea about why they're doing what they're doing. I mean to want and to be ambitious and to want to be successful, is not enough. That's just desire. To know what you want, to understand why you're doing it, to dedicate every breath in your body to achieve... If you feel you have something to give, if you feel that your particular talent is worth developing, is worth caring for then there's nothing you can't achieve.

He used to be my favorite actor.

IP temperament no doubt. IEI > SEI.

    I love his movies.

The only logical type I would consider for him is SLI.

i am remembering this one movie that he was in ... cannot remember the name, but he was some type of sales man at a convention, trying to train a younger sales man. but anyway, in that movie, he played an estp so well that i kinda thought he must be an estp.

I'm between SLE-Ti and SEI-Fe. He seems very commanding and self-confident in interviews, which at the moment sways me more towards SLE.

Reminds me of my AP English teacher, who was Fe creative. I like him. I'd say IEI, SEI, and ESI are good options.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I just don't really like him. Without any real reason.

IMO SEI is much more possible than a ESI.

I like him but for some reason I feel like I'd be very uncomfortable around him. I sort of agree with SEI.

I tend to agree, but something about his diction, phrasing, and speech cadence remind me a lot of my EII father, and I can't pin him definitively as IP from a VI standpoint, so I figured throwing ESI in there as an option couldn't hurt.

He killed it as a realistic, relatable pedo in American Beauty.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I've known about socionics for a while. I read what I could find before I bothered joining. No point in being a n00b. These people aren't here to teach me the basics; that's what the internet's for.

    IEI

I watched his inside the Actors studio last night on youtube. Fe creative + Ti hidden agenda is a lock. His advice to the students involved understanding their characters(ti), empathizing with their choices(Fe), not judging the characters actions(Demonstrative Fi), and spontaneity as long as it fit the proper structure of the play(Ti).

He also seemed more Result than process orientated, and talked about exploring the motivations that would lead to the actions the characters do. All that has me leaning IEI.

I agree with SEE, his subtlety is more subdued and contained than what you'd get with an Fe-ego, and Se/Ni valuing seems pretty clear.

His quadra values seem Gamma and he seems ethical so I think SEE is likely also.

I'm very much on board with SEE. The man is fiercely independent, values keeping his private life to himself. At the same time, he can be aggressive, impetuous and confrontational, but at the same time naturally charismatic. Very much fitting with Decisive and Serious values, Evaluatory & Subdued Fe/Ti, a Passionate Communicator, Se-Leading and the EP temperament.
