I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

LSE? She's economical and she does things by routines like she will have her hair done every 4 weeks and will repurchase her favorite items when they work for her. She has that Ej temperament to her

Lol, it pays not to put hand up on this site as an INFj system user but as you wrote FjIN then maybe I could go with that.

Deep down however I wonder if I am other than what the EII descriptions describe or is it that with time and age one adapts?

I fit much of the NT female descriptions along with a bit of ENF descriptions....oh heck there's a bit of me in every description...but still mainly NT's ones....only prob is I am not as mathmatical and computer gifted as I think I should be.

Oh well type me as you wish people....

    Computer scientist Donald E. Knuth?
    retrato__knuth_tcm270-243501.jpg
Creator of TeX programming language + typography system (used mostly in mathematics and physics publications). He got very frustrated with typographical quality especially on mathematical publications. It is perfectly usable on other things but it is very technical and learning curve for casual user is not really that practical.
He seems to have very good eye for detail. Obviously he spent lots of hours tinkering with spacing, fonts etc. Something which flies way over my head. He has described himself as very detail oriented.

Here he is giving his annual Christmas lecture:

Roids make people so intense. Add that to "the need for perfection" and you hit somewhere near this guy. Very tightly wound on top of the already tightly wound LSE thing.

There's too much going on here, it's all about morals and what is good/bad, right/wrong. He says "friendly forces against friendly forces" - that sums it up, Fi + democratic quadra. The message is entirely about people and not facts, he's ethical. is the human lesson of combat, is all about making things work and creating comfort. Going by my own feeling he is not soft enough for Si ego, look at that thumbnail ESI
