I want to say ESTj by association (shares a similar look with my mother), but her expressions seem introverted. SLI is a possibility.
But, for a certainty, back then,

God, I hope she isn't SLI (ISTp - right?)... That would be a disaster 'cause I am very close to eventually placing in ENFj... And we always had close to perfect understanding.

ISTj and ESTj/ISTp shouldn't be that hard to tell from each other since they have completely different functions, and different PoLRs, etc.
If she's ESTj/ISTp and you get along with her so well, then you most likely aren't ENFj. If you are very sure you're ENFj, that would give you a clue too.
How does she respond to or behave in regard to specific functions, like Ne, Fe, Ni, etc?

The mother could be ISFj; anyway I find ISFj more likely than ISTj.

To my great surprise, and without wanting to me contrary to anyone, I have unexpectadly changed my mind and now thin kthat your mom could be ISTJ.
