I'd say ENTp for both, but I'm biased.

I just got Ne-vibe from both and I got alpha vibe from the second. My opinion isn't trustworthy here because both people remind me of someone that I haven't been able to type. The first one reminds me of someone who is probably ENxp, but I barely know the person who's similar to the second guy. I just know he sometimes hangs out with a few alphas (2 ISFps and one ENTp).

I agree. It provides a different kind of sound texture than guitars and adds a varied element to the music. And saxophone players who play metal mouthpieces can produce a bright, loud, edgy sound that would be perfect for rock music.

As a side note I think the guy is playing the same horn I play, Selmer Series III. If he's not playing a Series 3, it's definitely a Selmer nonetheless.

Thanks guys for postin. I didn't know there would be such a nice turnout. I'll let you guys know the types after some more guesses.

Vague, thanks for fixin my lack of knowledge of this site.

Rocky, adding the sax in rock music is pretty hip. For the most part jazz is the language I love to speak. Believe it or not, I recieve a lot of proposals to play with rockers. Adding instrumentals into hip-hop adds a lot as well.

Blaze8, the second guy is a free man. I'll give you some contact info if you'd like.

Steve, It's a Selmer series II actually. I play on a 3.5 java and a 9 meyer hard rubber mouthpiece. I get a huge sound. It works in pretty much every genre except classical music (which I use a C* selmer soloist). I've played on dozens of mouthpieces. I own over ten. I'm very attracted to the sounds cannonball (hard rubber NY meyer) and Kenny Garrett (hard rubber E selmer soloist) produce. Even on the tenor, bari, and soprano I like the hard rubber mouth pieces, but that could change in the future. I also play the piano, flute and bass. What set up do you use?

Try listening to the song Day of the Baphomets by The Mars Volta. It not only makes good use of the tenor saxophone, but there is (IMO) a quite excellent solo about halfway in the middle of the song. I could orgasim over hearing that solo, heh.

EDIT//// I just checked, the solo starts about 4:45 seconds into the song (its an 11:55 second song).
    MAYBE I'LL BREAK DOWN!!!

Is that first guy you? (sorry I don't have a VI guess... I don't VI people anymore unless they look like someone I've met in the past).

Yea it's me. Revealing that will probably make it easier for people to type me haha. Yea, no worries about the VI man, I'm posting this out of curiousity of how others might view me.

    Peace

    1. Definitely ENxp, probably F
    2. Probably ENTp
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

K cool thanks I'll check it out when I get a moment. I always liked Lenny Pickett's sound from SNL. Also if you like really bright, edgy sax stuff check out David Sanborn's stuff. He kinda bridges Jazz and Rock. He actually did the background sax for the Lethal Weapon movies.

Haha thanks ScarlettLux. My friend will love to see what you wrote. It is a strange relationship, but very unique.
