    Default Prison Break series

    Michael Scofield?
    T-Bag?
    Abruzzi?

Don't know if it's been discussed.

Noting that Scofield's character seems to be the closest representation of what I was like as a kid and how I feel nowadays that I've seen in tv, ever. Though I do admit to having only seen a couple of episodes at a friend's.

Schofield may be an Introvert. He's always way to prepared in advanced.

OK, you're last post in the Mr. T thread reminded me of this again... you're description of ESTJ sounded a bit like Lincoln. Indeed, I have thought that he may have been some type of ESTJ.

Also, I say T-bager is ENTP. Sucre is an ESFP. Haywire, INTP. And Scofield... IST.

That's all I got for now.

I find it interesting how you've chosen opposite reasons for the man's successes. In my opinion Scofield's ability to 'roll with the punches' is not nearly as defining as the absurd amount of work he's willing to go through to prepare so I'm siding with Rocky on that one. But I don't really understand the reason that turns him introvert. Some extroverts do lots and lots of preparatory work too. Frankly collecting an enormous amount of tools before starting a mission suggests the 'compliant' dichotomy to me. (Though as you would've noticed this is of course connected to my suggestion in the first post that we're of the same type and I'm ESTj). *shrug* In my view he's just the 'administrator' of the prison break, almost a stereotypical activity but in a very non-stereotypical field of life. Of course, I asked, so thanks for the opinion

Your suggestions for T-bag, Sucre and Haywire... I see nothing wrong with those, fine by me. Especially Sucre seems like a good call to me.

Lincoln is more difficult for me. I find the actor not believable in his role and think he's of a different type than his character. But of course I haven't seen that many episodes. I'm not sure that his character is off the stereotype that I meant in the other thread. He was a law-breaker from the beginning, so he's not automatically the kind, big and dumb guy. Not that I find ESTj impossible. I also have to think about the fact that Scofield, even if he wasn't ESTj, would still almost certainly be a type and Lincoln doesn't seem to understand him at all.

No, I agree with the other guy's reasons too.

Well, he's able to do both. He said something along the lines of always planning things out in good detail is important, but it only takes you so far , which is why you have to have the ability to be flexible as well.

But I don't really understand the reason that turns him introvert.
There are probably other signs of introversion in him as well...

    Really? Compliant?

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that.

I also have to think about the fact that Scofield, even if he wasn't ESTj, would still almost certainly be a type and Lincoln doesn't seem to understand him at all.
Maybe. But why Te? Anything specific or just the way he acts and so on?

As for not seeing many episodes... I recently just watched the entire first season (and beginning of the second) with a bunch a friends in about a week. One of them bought the DVD set, and I'd never seen the show before, so we just watch straight though (which is my explaination for being interested in talking about the show now). And I recommond other people doing that too. The first season is worth it. Better then the second (so far) IMO.

Maybe an ISTj. The fact that he has plans (and great timing) says he's a judging type. I think he rolls with the punches because he has to--no choice here. And with time ticking by real fast, he needs to be quick in changing gears. Even a J will be forced to adjust his style a bit.

I'm quite late with the reply here, but better late than never, right?

Michael is most probably ISTj. I don't know the actor's type, I doubt it's ISTj but the character definitely is ISTj with all his quirks and intensity, planning, accuracy, being a natural-born structural engineer, quiet, calm, forceful if necessary, etc.

Lincoln is more difficult. I think he's ESTj. I don't have much proof. Just the regular gut feeling. He has a strong aura of ESTx and he's not expressive at all. And if someone else is expressive he just stares at them in dumb disbelief and lack of understanding. "She's showing teeth. Why?! "

    And while we're at it...
Dr. Sara Tancredi is a very clear INFj
Tancredi, the father of Sara is ESTj
    Veronica Donovan could be ISFj
    John Abruzzi ExTp
    Fernando Sucre seems xxFp.
    Benjamin Miles 'C-Note' Franklin ISFp.
FBI Special Agent Alexander Mahone is xxTj - I think ESTj, husband thinks INTj.
and T-bone is insane but very well played. ENTp? ISFp?

Lol. I did laugh when I read that.

About the characters...I don't watch the show much but I think one of the characters (or was it actors?) was typed ENTj in some thread.

    Wentworth Miller is entp.

His character in Prison Break however, is not.

When I saw the poster for Prison Break I looked at the guy in the picture with total lack of interest. But after the first episode, I thought he was really cute. My INFp sister said the same thing. She really likes Wentworth Miller, but she didn't start liking him until she saw him as Michael Scoffield.
