ESEs are highly focused on encouraging and contributing to the positive emotionality of their present surroundings. In affecting their surroundings, ESEs will often act decisively to make sure the needs of everyone they are looking after are met and that they feel comfortable as a result of their efforts. Frequently, ESEs will get great satisfaction from cheering people up, getting them to laugh and vivaciously expressing their exuberant emotional states to energize everyone involved. The demeanor of the ESE is generally cheerful, gregarious and ebullient, though they can occasionally come off to others who are less interested in their messages as overbearing and intrusive. However, this is simply not the case, as the ESE simply cares for their loved ones so much that they cannot see them excluded from the environments of fun and excitement that the ESE strives to promote.

Often ESEs will direct most of their conscious attention to the quality of their lifestyles to better evaluate how to improve the lived experience of others. This usually manifests in the ESE putting the needs of others ahead of their own, utilizing their kinesthetic aptitude to adjust the physical aspects of the environment to please their guests. In many cases, ESEs will be drawn to artistic hobbies and pastimes like gardening, cooking or decorating, mainly for the reason of using this hobby as an outlet to channel their emotional energy. It is most important for the ESE to lead a active, happy and healthy lifestyle so that they can use this experience to help others live happy lives as well.

Even though the ESE has no issue with working productively and diligently, their attention to matters of pragmatism and procedural know-how is secondary to the emotional messages that they convey to others. However, ESEs can easily learn from their mistakes and are capable of improving upon areas where they know very little about. At the same time though, it is more important for ESEs that other people find them interesting and engaging to talk to instead of concerning themselves with having made a factual error in their conversations with others. A conscious issue for ESEs is when they are obliged by others to behave in a serious and businesslike manner, because their usual demeanor can cause their coworkers to recognize them as too naive and optimistic to understand the gravity of a situation.

ESEs rarely ever spend time contemplating about the future, because they are very frequently too busy to set time aside for idle reflection. Consequently, they might have difficulty prioritizing the tasks that are most important for them to accomplish in the long-term and often find it easier to take care of everything in the present moment. ESEs are relatively oblivious realize how events connect dynamically and logically over the course of time.

When required to formulate a rational and measured analysis, ESEs can instinctively react to these scenarios with uninformed celerity. ESEs are very likely to outsource their knowledge from people they see as intelligent in a particular topic, in this way they can feel more secure about their understanding in that area. ESEs are often insecure about making mistakes in the domain of abstract structure (i.e. learning how computers work, reading philosophy, solving a mathematical equation, etc.) and they would approve of having the reassurance from someone who can confirm that they are not making mistakes. Furthermore, ESEs need to feel that their actions are internally consistent and don't violate the standards that they set themselves to, but they are insecure as to whether or not they fully understand them.

ESEs are committed to encouraging free-thought in the atmospheres they create and treat new possibilities with passionate interest and curiosity. A common goal for these types is to patiently explore academic domains, in the sense of broadening their own horizons and learning as much about the world as they can. However, ESEs usually experience difficulty coming up with novel, creative ideas on their own and feel at ease when they can make observations about ideas that already exist, thus popularizing them in a cheery and enthusiastic way.

Although very socially oriented people, ESEs pay far more attention to how people express themselves externally, sometimes causing them to underestimate how individuals might actually feel. In this case, since emotional states that are not outwardly expressed are foreign to them, ESEs often assume that they can mobilize someone into a state of activity through excitement regardless of what they're feeling internally. ESEs will also prioritize a stance of inclusivity in the communities they are a part of, rejecting their own personal sentiments if it goes against the values of everyone involved.

ESEs normally behave in a gentle and caring manner, but can easily switch to become aggressive and confrontational if very stressed emotionally, especially if they feel the need to protect themselves or someone who is under their protection. They do not seek to exert any sort of physical control over their environment and see such attempts as disregarding the harmony that's already present in leaving things as they are. Although very energetic and tireless individuals, ESEs are in no way inclined to use this energy forcefully and decisively at the expense someone else's failure. ESEs are perfectly fine with just acting friendly and silly around others and do not expect people to take them seriously as an authority figure.
