I tried really hard to pick one for a short while, but soon realized it was impossible. This is highly uncharacteristic of me, I might change favorites constantly or not have one when the group is not really dear to me. But liking everyone more or less the same is the first time. That's actually one of the signs they are my favorite group.
Well I'd say that it's not that I like them more, but Namjoon and Yoongi do hold special positions in a way. Namjoon because we're interested in the exact same things and subscribe to a lot of same beliefs and for some strange reason, I feel like I know him for a long time, like he's an old friend or little brother (though he's older than me). He's just completely predictable and consistent and I like that. It always pains me when he's down because I can't beat some sense into him, it's so frustrating, like this April log he posted recently. Also, dimples and that damn eye smile. Can't resist a clutz either. With Yoongi I respect him a lot, find him an interesting being and he's just too cute and gorgeous, I can't deal. He's such a mix of a baby and a grandpa, unintentionally hilarious.
I'm a new Mon Bebe, like really new, I used to just love the songs and only now I'm watching their non performance videos to get to know them. I have this thing where I can't resist a survival show no matter how shitty I know it'll be when I know it's vicious (probably why I can't bother watching P101S2, since it's all a set up). So I began watching No Mercy this past week, but I'm still not sure of Jooheon, I know he favours Sensing and is an Extrotim, but for now I don't have a handle on his judging axis, I see some contradicting behaviour, so I'll wait. I say SLE or SEE for now, judging by his solo stages, and specially how at home he was in his first SMTM performance, that's a hugeEgo sign for me.
I'm only sure of I.M. because I binged watched videos centered on him before beginning the show. He's actually the reason why I couldn't be a fan before, if there's one thing I can't stand is watching someone being unfairly rejected and hurt, and I knew beforehand how he was treated in the show. But I fell hard for him and gave in, thankfully they released their duet Be My Friend now and it pre-mended my heart.

I just finally put the pieces together and understood why I'm so interested in Namjoon and Yoongi equally but in different ways, it's all explainable by Socionics in the end. I've had the issue of their self hate and insecurities ( the reasons behind it) floating in my mind for weeks now, and now I get it: I sympathize with Namjoon much more, but empathize with Yoongi much better. I planned to make a blog post about their types elsewhere (>>> did you see my Yoongi typing?) but there are still some gaps, I'm not sure about Joon (5w4 perhaps) and Kook as 9w8? It all became ebullient inside me after Yoongi's interview in the Wings concept book and Namjoon's log. I feel for Namjoon's but can't relate to his pain because I don't value Ethics as much as he does, or at least not in the same way. It doesn't feel vital to me, though it's still quite important. On the other hand I get Yoongi, because technical competence is something I can't ever ignore or really gamble with. They both are fixated on their own ability to do what they have to correctly, and are using the same function to gauge their progress,. Namjoon's self esteem is tied to how much he can do for others (more importantly BTS in the case of his career) and affect people collectively, that's what "competence" means to him. He talks about things that are not only tied to his music writing abilities, but more image centered issues, for example him freaking about doing that interview and feeling like he isn't what a leader should be like because he's too scared and insecure. How he conducts himself as a leader in all areas involved (music production and dealing with the media) is being judged by himself through his notion of time passage, and he obsesses about the future in relation to it, he mentions time as a concept a lot during his ventings, i.e. "I've been active for 4 years but I'm still scared and sad", "You'd think songwriting would be easy for me by now" etc.
Yoongi tortures himself about a different thing, his issue is verifiable concretization of technical competence in itself. While Namjoon needs to feel (and be told) like he's good by doing others good through influence, Yoongi needs to have his self perceived (he exaggerates it by calling himself a genius, but he knows he's really good) technical talent be recognized in an external concrete way. Just look how (self) satisfied and comfortable Joon was during and after their last US stay and the enormous positive effect of the successful mixtape release on Yoongi's holistic health. Namjoom worries about carrying himself as a leader and making a good name for himself, and Yoongi about achieving professional and financial status for his own personal satisfaction (there are no selfless vs selfish connotations intended here btw, they just are differently oriented when it comes to areas of Ethical influence). Yoongi also makes temporal references a whole lot even on hid mixtape, he compares his progress through time to other Daegu underground rappers for example, both of them are impatient with what they perceive as a slow pace in maturing/evolving (Namjoon) and climbing the (individual) success ladder (Yoongi) and fear the unknown future in these areas.
