It's cool what they are trying to do here but I had to leave so many in the middle because the questions had very little meaning for me. :/

I took a second time choosing a bit more or less on some questions. it wasn't much better since I am more of a feeler and not an extroverted person. ENTP!

@Muddy I see we both got ENTP but our career suggestions are pretty different

@Aylen None of the suggested careers I got were things I'd be interested in to be honest. The suggested careers @yeves got are things that sound much more ideal to me.

But, but... you got "international spy"! lol I suppose the test needs a lot of work. I had such a hard time relating to some of the questions although some of the career suggestions for either one were not bad for me since I did consider some of them at one time or another.

Edit: I just noticed @yeves got "assassin" as their first career option.

That list was only 1/3 relatable. I would consider careers like tatoo artist, bar owner, and video editor. Will have to pass on the assassin one

Interesting, it ranks type 6 as one of my less likely types. Also interesting that it ranks Paranoid and Antisocial higher than Avoidant. The suggested careers are a bit wonky. Some of them I'd be "meh" about (funeral director, body piercer, plumber, personal assistant, bookseller, pastry chef, mortician, camera operator) some I would hate (work in the fashion industry, singer, hair stylist, costume designer), and some I'd really like (video game designer, computer animator, graphic designer, software designer, truck driver, song writer, musician).

This test is messy. Apparently gives people inaccurate results.
No wonder, you cannot accurately test for all those factors in one test.

The only careers from the list I both could do well enough and would be more or less interested in is video editor and bookseller.

This test is hilariously wrong, first time in my life that I got Feeler on a personality test... and an Extrovert!

@Herzy, yes, and its more hilarious that it pretend to give you accurate results of all these personality systems with just 60 questions.

    I got INTP (LII) E3

it makes sense in a fucked up way; Ti/Ne super ego understanding of language via the test trying to promote (natural in the socionics sense of the word) societal ideals (Fi)

the problem with tests is they just can't x-ray you, so its a very "superficial" understanding of question/answer via the fixed forms of language (in other words, the interchange is real but its semantic so everything depends on how people understand the words used, which is only one sided by way of the Ti of the test writer and programmer)

This test is better than it seems at first glance. Now they only need to include socionics type.

I'm not proud but honestly Its funny because I could never understand why she was so mad for something so insignificant as a:be careful with this matter... but now I know that maybe it was her Fi/Fe being hurt by my tactless advice (and the fact that she was probably an aggressor SEE).

Anyway, it was really hilarious to get ESFP as result. At least it get right with the SP.
my experience with SEEs is they have an incredibly idiosyncratic take on what is humiliating and unforgivable. Like some stuff I'd be over in in a second they will literally never speak to you again over, whereas other stuff that I feel I really messed up on hardly registers for them. I guess if I had to put a label on it I'd call it irrational because there's no unifying structure to any of it with which to make sense of it so it comes off as kind of random. I'm thinking they just use that to their advantage by being flexible and keeping people on their toes (you can feel very much indebted-grateful to them when they forgive something big like its no big), but they have a real problem with trying to conquer people who are already on their side--needlessly creating strife where peace would be far more apropos and enjoyable. Its like they don't know when they've won (or lost) so they fight all the time. Its good natured, like, they want to do what's right, so they're really not trying to hurt anyone. Its kind of like retarded-superman inadvertently causing more problems by naively trying to do the right thing without taking everything into consideration. I love SEEs, but it makes having stable relations almost impossible. I guess you just have to accept they're here today gone tomorrow and love them while they're here.

Meh test is meh. I feel like they're trying to measure so much and it's just not very precise. The jobs thing is just wacko, especially considering how dissimilar they all are overall. I'm also somehow more extraverted and introverted than average, among other things, so it feels like Fox News statistics too.

Test is surprisingly accurate. (I've never had reasonable results on an enneagram test before.)

You have to do soul-searching to take a test though. The goofy part is trying to precisely quantify personality traits like it's some sort of empirical thing, especially when you've got several things you're measuring at once and only 60 questions.

There are a lot of cool jobs on the list (although not generally particularly high-paying if you do them full-time), but they're balanced out 50/50 with jobs like childcare worker, stay at home parent, and nanny. Although they seem semi-randomly chosen, because my list is almost accurate as to what I'd like to do and has a coherent idea, and then something like "kindergarten teacher" pops up on it along with the general theme of " psychoanalyst, forensic scientist, journalist...". As Abbie said, it's surprisingly accurate, and as I said, it's not particularly precise.

I wish I got "assassin" on mine, but at least I got "activist" so I can be some sort of Che Guevara type, and lots and lots of things involving solving crimes so I can be a vigilante.

Avoidant disorder sounds more likely for when I was a young teenager, not now.

You have to do soul-searching to take a test though. The goofy part is trying to precisely quantify personality traits like it's some sort of empirical thing, especially when you've got several things you're measuring at once and only 60 questions.
Also that (the first sentence), and that instincts and tritype makes a type come off different and can give you the wrong result.

5 is a type that people almost always gets wrong in tests. Its always questions like "would you like to be a scientist" which obviously isnt exclusive to type 5 at all. So many people score high on 5 in tests that arent 5s or have 5s in tritype cause of it.

I would make a really shitty assassin. I don't think on the fly well enough.

So EIE it is... OTOH to think more about this. ILEs are actually more like this on universal scale of everything.

Would you like me to give you all the evidence to the contrary?

Also that (the first sentence), and that instincts and tritype makes a type come off different and can give you the wrong result.

Of course only 5s can be scientists...

But aside from that, I don't think anyone answering "I hate science, knowledge, analysis, and intellect" every time it comes up would be a 5, using your example. Have fun continuing trying to change people's personalities. People can be cooler than you and your master, deal.

Also, concoct yourself a nice little rationalization for my highest score being on 8 and my having gotten no points at all on 9. Denial is more than a river in Minnesota. When I was younger, there was an argument among other people about whether I was an 8 or a 4. No other types were involved at all. Yes, enneagram is a lot more mainstream than you think it is.

@Wyrd the question still remains why you get terrified of conflict when on voice..

I was just looking up the MOTIV types and... LOL. That is really the most intelligent thing I can say. The descriptions are still under development, and only have the first 4 letters done, but there's mine: http://similarminds.com/motiv/type/motw.html

Mostly the examples are just great:

Historic example(s): Napolean [sic] Bonaparte, Friedrich Nietzsche, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk
Fictional example(s): Gordon Gecko (Wall Street), Hans Gruber (Die Hard), Kevin Spacey (The Usual Suspects), Hannibal Leckter (Silence of the Lambs), Dexter Morgan, Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men)

I don't. You, however, don't even talk on voice even when it's actually possible. You're not only terrified of conflict, but of living. Crawl back into the damp, filthy hole you blindly wriggled out of. You see what you want to see because if you saw things as they are, the world would overtake you there and then, you'd try to let out some scream like the man in the Edvard Munch painting but only fluids would soundlessly drip out.

You don't even have the same personality type as Napoleon Bonaparte, Hannibal Leckter, and Dexter Morgan. You can go fuck yourself... oh wait, you already did that on the Fuck, Marry, Kill thread. Thank you very much.

MOXW- is the best MOTIV type so far. Besides mine.
