Lightbulb Quick Flow Chart Test - What Type of Leader Are You?

Since economics also include business, figured this could be posted here. What's your style?

My result's pretty fitting --> Visionary Type. As an alternative, Coaching.

I couldn't decide on the first question, so either pace setting or democratic.
Probably democratic, because I have a high tolerance for decent excuses even if I follow up a lot.

I got Visionary, which is quite accurate.
    The advice is helpful, too.

I myself have come to the conclusion recently that I should make more use of clear metaphors, mainly in my fictional writing.
In the recent past, I'd write too much in a way where the metaphors were often too abstract or too personal; meaning, it would require people to see the world through my own eyes to understand them, and that is not really possible. I suppose this would create distance to the reader, my writing would be like a painting where the paint strokes are all over the place, disguising the real image underneath.

Also, my visions are often times "too grande", and it makes sense how that would lower the morale of the team; when you tell them to go for something that is not really part of their skill set (yet). "Reach for the stars!" Well, sometimes you need to reach for the clouds first.

Otoh examples... It turns out they had to go through a third party to finish the task or they encountered some kind of red tape that's holding them up.

I got visionary on the flowchart because I'm patient and (assuming I trust the person) am not picky about how they achieve what I want. But the description doesn't fit me. I have ei näe metsää puilta syndrome, and I rarely think more than a couple weeks in advance.

Sometimes I'm the pace-setting leader, but only for small tasks like moving precariously-balanced objects. I think I used to do this more before I realized other people's methods were just as valid as mine.

    @xerx

On a serious level: not everyone can be a leader, no authority without followers. I didn't find some "what type of subordinate are you" so far but this test here is looking into which team role suits a person best, y'all may want to consider that, too

What? No dictator result? This offends both me and kim jong un.

Visionary>>Democratic>>>>>>>>>>>>Caching, No point in going any further than that.

Depends on the circumstances. I usually just give people my POV and then just allow them to decide what to do with that. I will also hold my position if I think what they argue isn't as good as what I suggest, but I am almost always open to working with people when there is a demonstrable goal. If someone has a better idea than me, then yeah, I will do it their way. occasionally, will try and encourage them, but this is rare.

I am a strong strong believer of leading by example. Ruling by force is evil (or close to it [I don't really believe in evil]).
I struggle with motivation, apathy and sticking to goals.

Coaching. It fits well. If there are serious time-constraints I might tend more towards commanding. (People have commented on my coaching-type style in the past, unprompted)

    Pace-setting

Why are there twice as many types for lazy people as for demanding people? Pffft...
