I'd say it is important to look conservatively businesslike and to be generous, but that's just me.
The part about failing is correct. I learn best from my failures, so it is important to accept failures and learn from them.
Yes, I could see that coming out of the mouth of a good LIE friend of mine.
I'm not american so I don't talk like that...?

I say stuff exactly like that all the time to people I'm working with, or especially to people who might be starting up in business.
Except, the reverse. It is very important to project an image that tells the customer that you are serious and they can rely on you, but it is also important to not nickle-and-dime your solutions to their problems. Money that you spend on providing high-quality things or services that the customer wants will come back to you.
Why would this answer be culture-specific?
It would be perceived as condescending and fake in my culture of origin.
Something that everybody knows and shouldn't even be stated openly unless you're a priest doing a sermon.
It may be considered OK if it's written in a book or article and so on. Otherwise, help is normally limited to practical and specific advice.
(I am not joking - I am interested in these differences)

#2 sounds like part of the "fail faster" mentality, which is based on Se and Te essentially (a willingness to plunge forward and get messy instead of carefully adhering to what is most optimal). I could see an LIE saying that, but maybe other extroverted types like EIE, SEE, or ILE.
#1: I'm not sure what the supposed contradiction is between these two things, but it does have an element of awareness of communication. More typical of SEE or EIE.
What type is your mom?
I agree with this, but I will say, some people seem to find their dream jobs right away. (I had 14 jobs before I was 30.)
This sounds arrogant to me. Sounds more like him projecting than a fact.
LIE's suck at art. But so do LSE's. So he's going with what he's got, and telling himself it's good. Lol.
This does sound LIE. An LSE would encourage someone to join a big company and work their way up.
Ah, now I remember, there's some people I know who work in real estate sales who talk like this all the time.
Ineed, northern Italy's also pretty formal compared to the american people I know.Originally Posted by Chae
