The cast of Dharma & Greg

Dharma Freedom Montgomery, née Finkelstein (Jenna Elfman) is Greg's wife and a flower child. She is extremely peppy and ditzy, but she also seems to be more compassionate and forgiving than most people. Dharma encourages Greg to seek happiness, rather than fret about practical issues like money. Due to being homeschooled by Abby and Larry, she has a limited understanding of Western culture and seems to be very credulous when it comes to trusting strangers. She is appropriately named after the concept of dharma in Indian philosophy.

According to Chuck Lorre's eleventh vanity card, he and Dottie Dartland originally conceived Dharma & Greg as "a series revolving around a woman whose personality is not a neurotic product of societal and parental conditioning, but of her own free-flowing, compassionate mind." Although, when she almost cheats on Greg, the series takes a much more dramatic turn.

    Greg

The lawyer Gregory "Greg" Clifford Montgomery (Thomas Gibson) is Dharma's husband. He is an upright, uptight, decent, though sometimes surprisingly open-minded, man. Greg's life was hopelessly banal before he met Dharma and married her on their first date. Since then, he has played straight man to the antics of his eccentric wife. Though his and Dharma's relationship has been rocky at times, Greg has never been shown to regret their marriage. He is shown to be an alumnus of the famous Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

I almost wonder if they are both Sjs,

because Dharma is somewhat naive, but her upbringing was "hippey-ness", so she is a reflection of that very much. E-Fj maybe? I could see ESTj for greg, but I'm not sure.

Should Dharma have to be an Sj, than only ESFj would be possible.

    How about ESFj & INTj?

I had wondered that myself, because Dharma reminds me of an ESFj I know. The girl I know, though, I'm faily certain she's not ENFp. Maybe ENFj, but definitely a j.

I would say INTj for greg, but I guess you'd have to give some contextual play, because it's a TV show. But too much play and everything's out the window anyway

Would an ESFj be very concerned about their environment? There is one girl I know who is very supportive of recycling, clearly demonstrates , has a typical sort of ESFj kindness, and is socially active - student association. Attends church regularly for community's sake. (College church, interfaith center).

Isn't super liberal, or super conservative. She reminds me somewhat of my ESFj (to a fault) room mate last year, but I am not sure about this girl. I don't know her very well.

I know ENFPs and Dharma is definitely ENFP.

Dharma and Greg = classic ENFP-INTJ couple.

That sounds right. Although Greg could easily be an ILE or LIE. I think him being a gay lawyer in the show would skew his type since the writers would have to play up his positive stereotypes to be PC.

I just hate how people see the esfps. Because of the stereotype of being the center of attention. Basically esfps do get alot of attention because they are so lively and expressive open minded and full of life.

Any personality can improve on what they want to improve on if they are mature. But the esfps are just very expressive because they are in touch with their senses add helper type 2 with some spirituality and you get a dharma type energy

The Dharma character was really annoying, some uppity and condesecending SJW who was like.... reminded us the very sole reason why the hippie thing died out in the 70s and should never return again.

Greg idk he was kinda hot and a little interesting to me, but irl doesn't he get really pissy and douche-y and hit people.

god I hate actors. why can't I stop watching them. there is a thin line between love and hate....
