    Is he your dual?

    Interview:

And here he is slicing a body into 600 wafer-thin pieces, delightful:

    Is he some crazy ILI?

Is it Alpha Ne gone to a very weird place?

My horror at cadavers makes it hard to imagine a type for him. I refuse to let him into Beta, though.

    LSI: “I don’t have ideas.”

Hmm. I've pondered your input and watched the stuff. So - yes sure, I completely dig it I've been to one exhibition once, very fascinating. In the interviews, SLI seemed probable, given that he is so comfortable with human bodies in literally every form. The way he recalls his injury making him fearless of death, the hands-on lab work, body pride (now that's something new!), aesthetic, etc.

His entire oevre is somehow based on a (anti-)sensory agenda from what I've seen. Also, Ti+Te: Gunther goes by principles of what makes sense and what is useful. The way he used deduction (transforming the object within the liquid into the object that is injected with the liquid cause everything else is idiotic lmao) and shows what he is doing is based on pure logic. Ethical PoLR, very cute awkwardness?

The only other probable type is indeed some NT (Te/Ti axis, S-seeking with his plastinations)? ILE- He can be super eccentric. I just can't determine whether Ti or Te is valued. ILI or LIE - the frozen in time between death and decay thing.

Just a first impression -- he does seem to approach things in a highly artistic, romanticized way, wanting to beautify the corpses. This kind of romantic obsession with death and decay is typical of Beta NFs. IEI seems most likely.

Hm... but doesn't that contradict his methodical approach in some way?

Not really. Although it is maybe unusual for an IEI to take up a craft so seriously, I could see them compensating with Ti mobilizing and Si role.

I get that you find it personally nasty, but there are definitely examples, David Lynch being a primary one. ILIs maybe also.

I think it's more of some self-pres obsession gone bad and not so much of a quadra thing.

Although I'm iffy on the enneagram instincts, there does seem to be a subset of people who find this attractive, and so far I can't connect it to a quadra or an IE.
