what is your impression of this old Italian practice, I heard on the radio the other day that during the Great Depression it was common practice to go into the fields and pick dandelions and sauté them with a little olive oil. This is a very green dish, which correlates well with other things.
Has anyone else tried this and found it pleasant? Let me know please, maybe I'll have to search around for some special greens.
