I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

In this thread you're displaying Fe heavily, which isn't in a Function EII would be using. May I ask who typed you and your reasons (basic) for being in socionics?

Socionics is pretty cool, it doesn't go much farther than that.
Myst typed me, I don't remember the exact rationale but it makes sense, and I recognize myself in the EII, Fi subtype and delta quadra values descriptions.

From the information I could gather, Myst's logic is superficial.
Moreover, you're the best person who could guess your type.
The fact that you witness how your logic works and what your values are everyday corroborates that point.
A nice thing to do is to compare how you process information and other people do.

I disagree that Myst's logic is superficial, and that typing yourself is more reliable in all circumstances. I have been through a lot of types and this is the right one. It's true that none than yourself can best understand how you work, but I don't understand myself that well so I need to rely on others.

Anyway, the typing of yourself is necessary step - you have to check type versions you get from others, including checking by IR. As there is no objective basis to trust any typer today, especially when all typers have match <50% so generally they type badly.
It's not hard to get a situation when other one types you correctly while you have wrong opinion about your type. There are a lot of wrong typings, including opinions about own type.It's true that none than yourself can best understand how you work
