Default Help me type a friend

I've known this person for a couple of years, and recently have compiled this sort of higher-level, not-too-well-organized list of my own observations on their behavior.

    - Can misinterpret what people say, think, mean, and feel
    - Cannot see well into people
    - Desires external validation
    - On opinions and judgements
    - Especially the logical ones
    - Judgement on their own behavior is sensitive
    - Approval and happiness of others is a huge motivator
    - However, progress (especially of self) is more important than temporarily rocking boats
    - So long as the upsetness is temporary
    - Focuses on external details to build internal pictures
    - But since they can't see interiors the image is often wrong
    - Is a literalist
    - Enjoys using external factors to impact internals of people
    - Enjoys seeing success in that endeavor
    - This can be evidenced in enjoying finding "buttons" to push in people, to get external reactions
    - Desires introspection, or understanding of self, but since they can't see inside they need the external validation / input
    - Forgiving of individuals, or at least puts in efforts to keep a relationship smooth
    - Has ups and downs of productivity
    - Productivity is a means to an end
    - Has a talent for making positive connections quickly
    - Is usually immediately likable
    - Lack of decisiveness is a sensitive weakness
    - Independence (self-care) is a valued weakness
    - Applies own truths to others
    - Learning not always the case
    - But, ironically, imposing the "not always the case" on others
    - Assumes externals are what others do, too, because it's (initially) more efficient
    - Takes answers at face value
    - Unless there's a precedent for not doing so
    - Nuances in expression are often lost
    - This is valued, though
    - Indefinite and prolonged circles of information or thought are annoying
    - "True to oneself" is a difficult concept
    - Alienation (found or interpreted in external displays of disapproval) is painful
    - Can be impulsive
    - In judgements
    - Disagreement with judgments is welcomed
    - Strategies with people (i.e. dealing with internals) needs to be explicit, practical, actionable, and explainable
    - Enjoys having a purpose or end goal to actions
    - Is used to having those goals and purposes provided
    - Is conflictedly rebellious of externally forced / offered goals
    - Tends to assume an idea or an individual has the same (internal) state throughout time
    - Unless something external comes along to show otherwise
    - Has long-term visions
    - The visions tend to change, though
    - And the vision is more prevention of negative than acquisition of positive
    - The course varies quite a bit, which leads to false starts and stops
    - How to get from start to end goal seems hard, since concrete steps are the only building blocks
    - Will thoroughly peruse external details
    - The organization of said details can be somewhat haphazard
    - Organizing the details (aka judgments) is welcome from external sources
    - "This is what it means" is welcome
    - Has genuine concern for the wellbeing of others
    - This seems instinctive/immediate, regardless of upbringing
    - Some rebellion to this, but can be accounted for in normal self-development / separation
    - Cold logistics are not interpreted as cold
    - Are appreciated, actually, as it helps achieve goals
    - When it comes to goals, it seems natural to break down the process into steps
    - Since internals are hidden, rules of thumb / behavior are how he relies on creating connection
    - Knowing what to do is different than actually doing it
    - Follow-through is inconsistent, not sure why
    - Puts positive spins on everything
    - Does not like negativity
    - Reacts well to offers of help with physical tasks, particularly ones that he knows should be done but hasn't yet
    - Relief of pressure to achieve a goal could be a motivator
    - Action tends to be taken based on conjecture
    - Other people's facts/opinions/judgements are taken as fact for themselves
    - Self-improvement is a strong value
    - Other improvement is, too...
    - All-the-things improvement, actually, but self is easiest to control
    - Opinion is sometimes mentally misplaced as fact
    - Discussion of failure is avoided, but when it does surface deflection of responsibility tends to happen
    - "I am in my current state because of external factors" e.g. I relate to people poorly because of emotional abuse while growing up
    - However, this could be an (external) observed method of making sense of internals
    - Advice from them comes in a sort of shotgun format, covering a wide surface with lots of irrelevance in the hopes of hitting (unknown) things that actually help
    - It's a sensitive vulnerability to accurately judge someone's internal feeling because it's so valued
    - Despite joviality, is very ernest
    - The humor is surface-level and literal
    - Has a strong sense of / desire for justice and fairness
    - Black and white thinking
    - Likes the concept of a team (this needs further thought...)
    - Quality of self and what one does is valued
    - This includes especially interactions with others

What type might this be? In socionics, enneagram, whatever?

So the funny thing that I IRL LOL'd about is that the formatting was/is killing me. Well, the mental formatting part as in how I wrote it is still somewhat in its nebulous state. It could definitely use some work to make it more, um, palatable and digestible. But I got impatient and wanted feedback now. The technical formatting, like with the indenting and stuff, was really annoying me. (vbulletin, why can't you just indent things automatically and sensibly!) So I'm feeling kinda sensitive about that...

I considered trolling you by leaving out the "jk lol" part and waiting until you spent a day on formatting before telling you "jk lol" lol

Haha. The duals one was inspired by the "LSE compartmentalization" thread. I have my own experiences with rocky LSE relationships, so that made me curious about other dual pairs and if there might be unique downfalls to each. Or just if there was anything to explore in that arena.

For this, from time to time someone will catch my attention (often male because, as Sol was trying to say in that other thread, differences can attract notice, but females, too) and I'll have short periods of a kind of obsession about understanding the individual, which since I'm involved in socionics includes a type analysis. So sometimes I'll post descriptions of this sort here to get feedback. This falls into that pattern.

All 20 of us, yes. That's a lot of babies. Are you available for hire as a nanny, Mr. Matchmaker?

Anyway and off topic but it's my thread and I can cry if I want - am I correct to intuit that you, at least provisionally, accept me as an EII? You're opinionated so of course I am curious about your opinion.

It's impossible to type with acceptable accuracy without half of information wich is given only by video.
You may giva a test to your friend, that's not less useful.
    Types examples: video bloggers, actors

    Fi to Fe to Ni.

Fi is reception of emotions. Fe is expression of such.

    Speculation:
Weak Ni? Sounds like extrovert with 1D Xi, though not Si. Potentially Ti-seeking. => Potentially ESE.

I'll get back to this someday, I promise. I want to rework the OP to be a bit more concrete. Some of it's a little too abstract to be helpful, perhaps.
