    Default Your Individual Traits

Thanks to @suedehead for linking to this site. It gave me way higher on being helpful than I actually am but I think it had something to do with giving to the poor and answering neutral on questions pertaining to helpfulness. In relation to helpfulness, I do like weird kids with strange imaginations. I can play with them for a while and pretend we are on a rocketship to space but when I am done I want their parents to take them back immediately.

This just shows I am a little bit of every type as are most people? I did find it interesting though.

The following chart shows how well your responses match to each of the 16 personality types. Your personality type is not necessarily the type with the highest match score, especially if several scores are close. However, the higher the match score, the more likely that you'll feel that a particular personality type profile describes you well. If you're trying to determine your personality type, it's a good idea to read over full descriptions for the 2-3 types that have the highest match score.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

INFP first by a fraction then all other IN's close behind followed by EN's followed by IS's followed by ES's with ESTJ having lowest score.

Adding husband's result for this test -

ESFP then other EF's followed by IF's then ET's then IT's with INTj being scored last.

Oh dear did you score high on that? No worries it wasn't a typo.

Haven't taken it yet. Long tests are difficult to do at work, because there are a lot of distractions.

It gave me INFJ (60.31%) followed closely by INTJ (60.17%). T/F are usually a wash for me in MBTI-esque tests, because questions relating to "being F" are positively correlated to being more agreeable, which is how I am on the surface. On MBTI style tests I typically score INTJ, while on tests that try and correlate Jung's functions to MBTI types I score INTP or ENTP.

Imo, the last sentence ones just test the former and then purposely flip them. If you test 10 people on MBTI tests, and then test the same on the ones that try and correlate to jung, the latter's will be flipped on J/P virtually every time.

Hence the whole J/P switch debacle in Socionics. This is the only Jung test that I have knowingly taken. The questions seem to be testing for a percentage of self-identified function usage. http://similarminds.com/classic_jung.html

I had family members and best friends do 16personalities and keys2cognition. They were all inverse. The latter's results matched with nothing outside of the test.

I got ENFP, but reading my results, it looks like I confused the hell out of the test.
Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

By my calculations *pushes up glasses and sniffs* this places you as an EII operating primarily in the Vital block. Given your listed subtype *pushes up glasses again* multiplied by the square root of potato over daffodil, DCNH is most likely EII-H, more specifically, EII-Ni.

That's impressive. Personally, I'm still wavering between EII-H and EII-C but inclining to the former indeed. :>

Could you explain why you think it is so? Is this because of my allegedly Fe-flavored posts here (I'm not contradicting, just curious).

Descriptions of M/V are most similar to those of J/P. It's my understanding that strength of N vs F is what determines if an INFJ and INFP are IEI or EII, with the J/P being if they operate predominantly in M or V for whichever sociotype they are.

I don't actually know the whole two-subtype system, though, so the "Ne" may correlate to Fe (D subtype) or Ni (H subtype). The Ne you chose may actually be a Contact predisposition, and not a two-subtype system one.

I'm not 100% sure if I understand you correctly about this Contact predisposition but I suppose it's not the right thread to poke you for more info on this. Thank you kindly!

or maybe you are just very one dimensional. You probably would score some sensor, or ethical, type on it and not logical so I understand you would rather ignore quizzes and questionnaires that require more thought and go with VI typing, by video, through your immediate sensory impressions.

“My typology is . . . not in any sense to stick labels on people at first sight. It is not a physiognomy and not an anthropological system, but a critical psychology dealing with the organization and delimitation of psychic processes that can be shown to be typical.” —C.G. Jung

Some Ts probably find it in their interest to be agreeable on the surface to avoid unpredictable emotional fallout, which is a very rational(and safe) interpersonal relations strategy.
Important to note! People who share "indentical" socionics TIMs won't necessarily appear to be very similar, since they have have different backgrounds, experiences, capabilities, genetics, as well as different types in other typological systems (enneagram, instinctual variants, etc.) all of which also have a sway on compatibility and identification. Thus, Socionics type "identicals" won't necessarily be identical i.e. highly similar to each other, and not all people of "dual" types will seem interesting, attractive and appealing to each other.

Yes. Still T types have a complete absence of warmth, love and support in communication and that is apparent here on the forum

LSE

Yeah, I do that. I like to minimize any possibility of emotional reprisal.

Very much so. It's actually connected to seeking Fe, especially for Alphas. Alphas are about minimizing negative emotions. In order to avoid emotional reprisal, which is negative emotional retaliation, LIIs try to be polite and cordial in public, without criticizing the actions of others. Positive emotions are the only permissible emotions; otherwise I analyze the root cause of the negative emotion to distance myself from it.

You can read about it here under the Fe tab: http://www.sociotype.com/socionics/types/LII-INTj/

I know the question wasn't for me, so I hope you don't mind, but I think in general, I don't think there is that large of difference. Those weak on Fe have a difficult time with creating any positive emotional atmosphere. It doesn't mean they cannot, but that it is an uphill battle and it expends much mental energy. It is just more efficient to focus one's mental energies elsewhere.

Interestingly, this test gives me like almost the opposite of my Big 5 results (except for on openness, because I score average-to-high on openness in both)
