    YOU ARE LOW IN OPENNESS

Your overall score for Openness is low. This indicates you are less likely than most to be interested in abstract ideas and to enjoy artistic and intellectual pursuits.People who are low in Openness tend to be realistic and traditional. They prefer jobs and hobbies that have a practical purpose and an observable result. They do not like to spend time playing with ideas and usually have conventional ideas and values.
As a person low in Openness, you probably enjoy familiar environments and find pleasure in following tradition. You may be resistant to change and prefer to stick with what you know. You are likely to be politically conservative and inclined to conform with the standard ways of doing things.
In your leisure time, you are likely to pursue popular interests: major league sports, bestselling books, and mainstream movies and TV. You likely have little interest in intellectual pursuits and may tend to dismiss the arts and sciences as being of no practical use.
Openness is correlated with intelligence, but only modestly. Openness is best thought of as an attitude of intellectual curiosity, and does not necessarily indicate intellectual capacity.

    YOUR FACET SCORES

Within the domain of Openness, six personality traits have been identified. These six traits explore more specific aspects of Openness including interest in the arts, emotional awareness, and tendency to challenge authority. Looking at your scores on these traits can help you to gain a fuller, more nuanced understanding of your inclination toward Openness.
Below you can find your scores for each facet of Openness.

    IMAGINATION

Your level of imagination is low.
To imaginative individuals, the real world is often too plain and ordinary. High scorers on this scale use fantasy as a way of creating a richer, more interesting world. Low scorers on this scale are more oriented to facts than fantasy.

    ARTISTIC INTERESTS

Your level of artistic interests is average.
High scorers on this scale love beauty, both in art and in nature. They become easily involved and absorbed in artistic and natural events. Low scorers lack aesthetic sensitivity and interest in the arts.

    EMOTIONALITY

Your level of emotionality is low.
Persons high on Emotionality have good access to and awareness of their own feelings. Low scorers are less aware of their feelings and tend not to express their emotions openly.

    ADVENTUROUSNESS

Your level of adventurousness is average.
High scorers on adventurousness are eager to try new activities, travel to foreign lands, and experience different things. They find familiarity and routine boring, and will take a new route home just because it is different. Low scorers tend to feel uncomfortable with change and prefer familiar routines.

    INTELLECTUAL INTERESTS

Your level of intellectual interest is average.
Intellectual and artistic interests are the two most important, central aspects of openness to experience, as they examine a person's tendency to enjoy abstract ideas.
High scorers on this facet love to play with ideas. They are open to new and unusual ideas, and like to debate intellectual issues. They enjoy riddles, puzzles, and brain teasers. Low scorers prefer dealing with either people or things rather than ideas. They regard intellectual exercises as a waste of time.
Intellectual Interest should not be equated with intelligence. This facet of personality describes an intellectual style, not an intellectual ability.

    LIBERALISM

Your level of liberalism is average.

Psychological liberalism refers to a readiness to challenge authority, convention, and traditional values. In its most extreme form, psychological liberalism can even represent outright hostility toward rules, sympathy for law-breakers, and love of ambiguity, chaos, and disorder. Psychological conservatives prefer the security and stability brought by conformity to tradition. Psychological liberalism and conservatism are not identical to political affiliation, but certainly incline individuals toward certain political parties.

It's pretty low on the number of questions, especially for the number of subcategories it gives. I get above average on Openness on Big Five, but a lot of the questions seemed to be a specific sort of Openness. Seems like it is looking at dynamics version of Openness, as homeostasis is opposed to openness in this test. Pro-Ni but anti-Ne?

YOUR SCORE ON OPENNESS TO EXPERIENCE

Your overall score on Openness compares you to others on this dimension of personality.

    YOU ARE HIGH IN OPENNESS

Your overall score for Openness is very high. This indicates you are more likely than most to be interested in abstract ideas and to enjoy artistic and intellectual pursuits.People who are high in Openness are intellectually curious and usually have an interest in the arts and sciences. They often think in symbols and metaphors and notice patterns. They look beyond the facts and pursue a higher level of understanding.

As a person high in Openness, you are likely to be creative and enjoy playing with ideas. You are probably interested in abstract concepts and enjoy intellectual disciplines like mathematics, science, language, music, and the visual and performing arts.

    LIBERALISM

Your level of liberalism is high.

I did their big 5 too.

YOU ARE HIGHLY OPEN TO EXPERIENCE

Your score for openness was high, at 95%.
Openness describes a person’s tendency to think in abstract, complex ways. High scorers are prone to associative thinking, meaning that they readily see relationships between things. People high in Openness are more able to connect seemingly unrelated concepts, making them more likely to appreciate art and unusual ideas.

People who are high in openness are typically:
    Creative
    Imaginative
    Adventurous
    Intellectual
    Unconventional
    Artistically Inclined

High Openness scorers are more likely to be politically liberal and to participate in artistic and cultural activities in their leisure time. They tend to be drawn to artistic and scientific careers. High Openness scorers are also more likely to have a high IQ.

    YOU ARE LOW IN CONSCIENTIOUSNESS

Your score for conscientiousness was low, at 47.5%.
Conscientiousness describes a person’s ability to exercise self-discipline and control in order to pursue their goals. High scorers are organized and determined, and are able to forego immediate gratification for the sake of long-term achievement. Low scorers are impulsive and easily sidetracked.
People who are low in Conscientiousness are usually:

    Impulsive
    Disorganized
    Spontaneous
    Carefree

People who are low in Conscientiousness are more likely to develop addictions of all kinds, as they have trouble resisting the impulse to engage in pleasurable activities. They also have more disorganized homes and offices. On the other hand, they tend to be more flexible and spontaneous, and do well in unpredictable environments where they must respond to constantly changing circumstances.

    YOU ARE MODERATELY EXTRAVERTED

Your score for Extraversion was moderate, at 52.5%.
Extraversion describes a person’s inclination to seek stimulation from the outside world, especially in the form of attention from other people. Extraverts engage actively with others to earn friendship, admiration, power, status, excitement, and romance. Introverts, on the other hand, conserve their energy, and do not work as hard to earn these social rewards.

Extraversion seems to be related to the emotional payoff that a person gets from achieving a goal. While everyone experiences victories in life, it seems that extroverts are especially thrilled by these victories, especially when they earn the attention of others. Getting a promotion, finding a new romance, or winning an award are all likely to bring an extrovert great joy.

In contrast, introverts do not experience as much of a “high” from social achievements. Thus, they don’t make as much effort to seek them out. Introverts tend to be more content with simple, quiet lives, and rarely seek attention from others.

Your mid-range score on this dimension indicates that you are fairly average in your motivation to seek out social rewards. You probably have some desire for admiration, influence, and prestige, but you can also be content when you’re not winning recognition from others.

    YOU ARE MODERATE IN AGREEABLENESS

Your score for Agreeableness was moderate, at 62.5%.
Agreeableness describes a person’s tendency to put others’ needs ahead of their own, and to cooperate rather than compete with others. People who are high in Agreeableness experience a great deal of empathy and tend to get pleasure out of serving and taking care of others. They are usually trusting and forgiving.

People who are low in Agreeableness tend to experience less empathy and put their own concerns ahead of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic. They tend to have more conflictual relationships and often fall out with people.

Your moderate score in Agreeableness indicates that you are fairly typical in the degree to which you balance your own interests with the interests of others. You are probably willing to sacrifice yourself for others some of the time, but you also watch out for yourself quite a bit.

    YOU ARE MODERATE IN NEUROTICISM

Your score for Neuroticism was moderate, at 50%.
Neuroticism describes a person’s tendency to experience negative emotions, including fear, sadness, anxiety, guilt, and shame. While everyone experiences these emotions from time to time, some people are more prone to them than others.
This trait can be thought of as an alarm system. People experience negative emotions as a sign that something is wrong in the world. You may be in danger, so you feel fear. Or you may have done something morally wrong, so you feel guilty. However, not everyone has the same reaction to a given situation. High Neuroticism scorers are more likely to react to a situation with fear, anger, sadness, and the like. Low Neuroticism scorers are more likely to brush off their misfortune and move on.
Your score indicates that you are fairly typical in your tendency to experience negative emotions. You probably feel sadness, worry, anger, and guilt about as much as the average person. You are neither overly reactive, nor especially resistant to the stresses of life.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

If I go to restaurants, or order in from places I know well, I usually have the same thing even if I look at the menu 15 minutes thinking I am going to order different this time. We order from Chili's every couple of weeks and I always choose the light menu salmon with rice and broccoli. I like other stuff there but nothing appeals to me more than that.

I will not eat any type of bug no matter how it is cooked and presented. If I know it is a bug or even suspect it is a bug, and someone is trying to trick me, I will probably be very upset with them.

Yeah, pretty dang positive this is Ni valuing and not N in general. Had the questions been "I do" instead of "I like," the results would probably be a lot different.

    INTELLECTUAL INTERESTS
Your level of intellectual interest is high.

    LIBERALISM
Your level of liberalism is high.
