    Rdos Aspie Quiz
The more comprehensive 150-question Rdos Aspie Quiz, based on the controversial Neanderthal Theory, generates an in-depth report, and offers insight into the many different areas affected by Asperger’s syndrome. Despite its questionable grounding in science, the rdos test does appear to identify a difference between neurotypicals and aspies. (Musings of an Aspie has written a balanced review of it here.)

Probably the most popular feature of the rdos test is the results graph, which provides a useful visual reference to those of us who like that sort of thing. It does, however, generate another note of caution: do not be tempted to compare your graph with known aspies, and worry that you’re not aspie enough; the range of bone-fide-aspie results is huge. To illustrate this point, I’ve posted some graphs – all from formally diagnosed aspies – below. I’ve also included a neurotypical graph, so you can see just how different that is on this scale.

Yours makes sense. Seems like if one legitimately has social skills, the rest would have to be close to the center. Your only blur from this is intellectual creativity.

    I agree, though.

Of course this kind of projection and misinterpretation is a common result of the disorder. But personality psych communities have plenty of reason to attract these types, hence the possibility of a saturation of them.

If you imply they're there, acquisition wasn't easy. IMO, online settings actually exacerbate the blindness to social queues but ease one's awkward outer appearance. But it's more likely Dunning-Kruger than anything. I've consciously forced myself to ignore certain finer details and compulsive adherence to routines, but it may have limited my intellectual ambition. The repetitive behaviors never completely go away no matter what you try, at least from what I've experienced.

I've never been through shit like ass-bleaching or squeezes, but I was put through dieting in my earlier years. Acknowledging the possibility of placebo, some of that does seem effective and I've noticed a correlation between this and my abilities to concentrate and/or regulate emotions. Possibly bullshit, but in chemistry there's some possibility behind it and I need all the help I can get anyway. That may be another part of why my score seems balanced.

You seem to be doing fine to me. Everyone has nit-picky things we want to work on about ourselves, but the imperfections make us perfect. If you were dead on the center, you'd just be another face in the crowd anyways.

I know what ass-bleaching is, but what are "squeezes"?

Autists often enjoy physical pressure. Shouldn't be compared to ass-bleaching because it's a treat for (some of) us rather than a torturous folk cure. Apparently I hate being touched, but I react less to it now than I used to.

    @Cerelict

Spent more time on this thread than I normally would, due to conversation with you. It lead to me reading more on ASD. Someone close to me has always had a good deal of issues, and they have two immediate family members with dyslexia. Supposedly there is high comorbidity between aspie and dyslexia. When going through the aspie test concerning them, I'm fairly positive they are somewhere on the ASD scale, and I think the change of viewpoint for myself concerning them due to such may be very beneficial to their well-being. Thank you.

Aspie is such a weird word

    Here's my results

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 70 of 200
    Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 131 of 200
    You are very likely neurotypical

They didn't really explain the results, which was disappointing. I'm guessing I don't have aspergers...?

mine just compared each dimension's score between aspie and neurotypical, but doesn't say anything about them.

expected to be higher on the autistic side; I guess I'm just weird then.

@Jeremy8419 lol I'm not sure what to make of it either. Atypically neurotypical it seems like.
Just a random hypothesis that CD is anti-ASD. It may be my benefit ring, though, since SEI, LSI, ILI, and EII are all "normalizing" types. After reflection upon the test and people I know and have known, it seems like EII is hyper-sensitive to the lack of normal emotional control of people with ASD and naturally regulate such. Most of the females I have been romantically involved with score fairly high on this. Makes me wonder about the correlation between perceived TIM's and neurotypical/neurodiverse.

I am pretty sensitive to various environmental stimuli, much like HSP (highly sensitive person) issues, so I think that explains the higher than average score on perception.
