    Default Typing video

    Hi,
I made a video answering some questions I found from here (not the 80Q don't worry). I appreciate any help with typing me and can answer further questions.

Thanks! I'm curious what makes me Ij. Also what is specifically ESI or EII? (I'm not disagreeing or agreeing.)

    somewhere around ESI sp/sx

your speech is curt and intermittent and even in tone, there seems to be little dynamic "flow" to what you're saying, which points to accentuation in static temp. such as IJ or Ji-EP

esi over eii: what you're saying feels "under-stated", it feels "cut short" instead of explicit and thorough, which is oft a sign of involutionary/result type (that involuts, "curls up", "wraps up" the information), while eii is evolutionary/process tyype with a more extensive, continuous and elaborating style of self-presentation (that seems to never end) and typically more explicit and thorough in their explanations

Thanks Silke, interesting points. I know that language barrier makes me somewhat less thorough in English, as well as talking alone to the computer (= my reactiveness is shut down). In my mother tongue I talk very fast and go on tangents a lot. But it is true that I value saying things "as they are" without jewelling them up, and this is at its clearest with written language. I get frustrated, if people are being obscure and if there's no structure in their texts.. I do use metaphors quite a bit, but I avoid being too poetic or leaving too much room for misunderstandings.

I wouldn't be surprised if you said you test ENTJ in MBTI.
Intuitiveness is not solely about metaphors though nor about being poetic.
I observed you only a couple of seconds, not even listened to what you were saying, you reminded me @blackburry who is ESI 6w5.

I find her answers on hierarchies and power interesting. She says such concepts leave her with a negative image and goes into detail why. The consensus here seems to be that she is ESI, but ESI seeks LIE, and I can't help but think that LIE would very much support the concept of power and hierarchy. I really don't know, but if that is true of LIE, would an ESI like her (if she is one) find attraction in the ways of the LIE? Maybe the dual takes away the pressures to have to engage in those facets of life the ESI finds negative, therefore they are attractive qualities? I admit I don't know much about LIE, so this is all pure conjecture and searching on my part.

I have tested as ENTJ in MBTI at some point in life, not anymore. I don't like power games of any sort. I'm Enneagram 6w5 (614) Sx/Sp, counterphobic, so that might affect my vibe.

I'll answer more questions from the 80Q; some of them are familiar to me, most are not.

    Block I

General to specific, specific to general Ė what does it mean?

Deduction, induction. Both have their merits and place, as can be seen in how science works.
What does "logical" mean? What is your understanding? Do you think that it correlates with the common view?
Logical at its simplest means that an argument (premises + conclusion) is internally coherent so there are no fallacies. It does not say anything about the truth of the premises or the conclusion, so if you want to know about something (=collect facts) instead of just finding out whether something is reasonable, you need more evidence, i.e. empirical justification. Correctedness doesn't equal truth.

Our "folk intuitions" can follow formal logic in some cases, but in many cases it is in direct opposition to it. Reflective thinking consumes more energy than intuitions, if we take dual process theory to be accurate.

How do you explain fractions on the dial of the clock?

I can describe them more than explain. Every fraction is 1/60 of the full circle, and depending on what we measure, it can be a second or a minute.

What is a rule? What rules do you have to follow?

Rule is a construction to orientate in our environment. I donít think anyone can live without having any rules at all, whether internal or external. Rules can be extremely helpful and enhance efficiency, as we donít have to create a strategy for actions every single time we engage in them. I follow the rules=laws of my society, and I try to follow rules I have put on myself (mostly moral).
What is hierarchy? Do you need to follow it? Why or why not?
Hierarchy has to do with power division, and usually those who are higher on the ladder have more benefits. I donít like hierarchy, but I can see in some occasions it can be useful to distinguish different levels of competence to make activities more fruitful for everyone. The problems arise, if we put a lot of value on being on top of the hierarchy; thatís power struggle, and I hate it.

What do you think of instructions? Do you use them? Could you write an instruction manual? If so, what type of instruction manual would you most likely write?

I like instructions in the same manner I like standards and rules, which is for instrumental reasons. Life is easier, if I donít have to create everything from the beginning. i might be able to write a manual, if I got really expertized in some field.
Please explain: "Freedom is in complying with the laws, but not in ignoring the laws"? Do you agree with the statement? Why?
Sounds like freedom has positive intrinsic value. Well, I feel I get more freedom by following rules for the reasons already stated in other replies (saves time, decreases risk, increases safety). However, freedom is relative to what kind of legislation the society I live in has.

Tell us how about consistent you are?

Not very consistent, unfortunately. I give up easily, I get dwelled on tangents, I lose concentration, I can easily get enthusiastic about new ideas and abandon the old ones, until I come back to them and the cycle goes on.

What is a "standard"? Why do people need it?

We need standards to keep our societies and ourselves together, also to measure quality of goods, services, education etc. Standard doesnít mean we should all be the same, it just makes sure that there is something against which we can lean on when determining that things go in fair and just manner.

You need to put your home library in order. How do you feel about this activity? How will you approach this task?

I can enjoy organizing and categorizing in strictly limited settings, like putting my books in order. How I would do it, is dependent on my mood. I have previously organized it by genre, another time by colors, yet another alphabetically.

    Block II

What is work in your opinion? Why do people go to work? Are there any parameters where you can distinguish whether you can do this work or not?

Work is consuming time and energy in order to get something in return, usually money (voluntary work doesnít give money but you get other rewards). This enables taking care of your basic needs. I also agree with Freud that a healthy individual can love and work, meaning that working is something crucial for us as humans. Itís part of our personal and social identity.
I can pretty easily distinguish whether I can do something or not, and itís even easier to know whether I want to do it or not.
Is there any correlation between quality and quantity? Tell us if or how the price depends on quality?

There can be correlation of quality and quantity, it depends on what sort of substance/object we are measuring or assessing. In some cases the more objects are produced, the better the processing can become, as the method improves by trial and error. But it could go the other way round, too, that the quality suffers from more production (think about mass production of cheap clothes). It seems that most common business strategies are either to produce big quantities with poorer quality and cheap price, or small quantity with high quality and price. I'm sure these expectations are abused by e.g. producing cheap but selling as if it was quality (big sport brands)

How do people determine the quality of work? How do you determine such quality? How well you can determine the quality of any purchase, do you pay any attention to it?

Depends on who is assessing the quality...some people lean on subjective impressions, senses and experiences (if the work is e.g. service), some other want to lean on pre-established rules or qualifications.

Personally I'm not very observant or strict about quality of "mundane" things but tend to be rather benevolent in my receptions. So I very rarely e.g. make reclamations. However, it doesn't mean I wouldn't see faults or problems, I just don't care enough to make a big deal about it. I know people I can call to if I'm making a bigger decision and need to know more about how to assess the quality of a certain object. I have no problem relying on objective opinions or specialists in that regard. But this only goes for objects. In value choices I can listen to others but they have no effect on what I believe is the best choice, and I will become reactive if people criticize my choices (e.g. when I didn't baptize my children and someone criticized it, I blew up).

How do you feel if you didn't finish some work? Does it ever happen? What are the reasons?

It happens, and it makes me anxious, especially if Iím responsible for someone else about it. I struggle with self-esteem what comes to completing and doing some tasks, and it can hinder me from just doing it.

What is "interesting work" for you? Please explain in detail.

I like to work alone and research my interests, as I get exhausted by too much social life. But I also like to help other people by ďsolvingĒ or supporting them in their emotional/relationship/life/health problems. I dislike being in the centre of attention, so I donít find any kind of public position interesting. In general my work has to do with people/human nature, no matter if in a theoretical or pragmatic way. At the moment I want to become a nurse and perhaps specialize in health care research at some point.

You go to the store and see something you're interested in buying; there is a price tag on it. What parameters are you going to use to understand if it's overpriced, under-priced, or priced correctly?

My knowledge on certain products and their price range is far better than on others. First I'd check around for several products to see how their price correlates to those of other stores. I'd likely google prices of other shops and look for a cheapest option. If I knew the item is unique and I really wanted it, I'd buy it, but I tend not to make very expensive purchases, so it's usually low risk. Again, I easily call for assistance from someone I know to ask more information.

When you work and someone tells you: "You don't do it right." What is your reaction?

Internally Iíd be annoyed. Externally Iíd ask what the person thinks is the right way and why, and Iíd want them to show me. If I wasnít convinced, Iíd ask them to let me do it my way.

There is a professional right next to you. You always see that you can't perform the way they do. Your feelings, thoughts and actions?

Completely depends on what the context and performance is about. If Iím at the gym, and a pro comes next to me, I donít care, as I donít aspire to be a professional there. I might observe how they work out, though, as I might learn some tricks. If itís something professional I do, too, I get inspired by wanting to achieve the same level of expertise myself. I can also have feelings of inadequacy, but if there are no external evaluations, itís more inspiring.

When you have to ask someone else to help you with the task, how do you feel?

Depends whether itís their job or whether I burden them with asking them to help. Also depends on how close I am to the person, and whether I know if they like doing the task or not.

You need to build a pyramid exactly like in Egypt. Your thoughts, feelings and actions?

    I wouldnít, because I couldnít.

    Block III

What is beauty? Do you change your opinion about beauty? Does your understanding correlate with the generally accepted notion? What goes beyond the generally accepted notion?

I replied this in the video by saying that beauty is essentially about subjective impressions. I can change my opinions about beauty of specific things/people/objects, especially people, as beauty is highly dependent on how I see their character. I donít think my view on beauty is popular; I specifically dislike assessing people only based on their visual attributes, which is not how our culture in its extreme visualness is about.

Please describe your understanding of a beautifully dressed person. What is the core of beauty? How do you explain what is beautiful to a person who has never heard about beauty before?

Beautifully dressed person knows himself/herself, both their inner and outer qualities and how to support them to create a holistic, coherent image. Itís about authenticity. I guess Iíd explain beauty by teaching about the history of aesthetics and trying to encourage them to understand and develop their own concept and sense of beauty along.

Is there a template of understanding what beautiful means for everyone to use? Is there such a term as "classical beauty"? If so, what is it?

No, there is no universal definition for beauty, but as said, one can learn a lot by studying aesthetics and exploring oneís own attractions and impressions. Classical beauty is a very Western concept, arising from Ancient Greek culture I guess.

What is comfort? What is coziness? How do you create your comfort and coziness? How do others evaluate your skill in doing so? Do you agree with them?

Comfort and coziness appeal to me. I aspire to feel peaceful, including inner and outer elements, but I struggle a lot in reaching any of that. Iím not very good at creating comfort (e.g. I donít cook much or decorate), except in small, personal context.

How do you pick your own clothes? Do you follow fashion? Why? Do you know how to select clothes for different types of figures?

I donít follow fashion much, never have, but Iím quite particular about my style and colors. However itís more abstract than concrete, in that I have studied different kinds of color and style systems extensively for over a decade, and Iíve consulted some prominent stylists myself. Iím good at seeing the vibe of people but not so good at putting a detailed outfit together. I see style as an extension of oneís personality.

How do you cook? Do you follow recipes? What do others think of your skill?

Iím a lazy cook and usually resort to meals I know how to do. If I bake or make something different, I follow a recipe. Iíd want to be more creative and diligent in cooking, but it seems I just donít care enough to actually execute these desires.

Are you good at color patterns and mixing them and matching?

Yes, I believe I am. My mother is an artist, and Iíve been surrounded by visual art all my life, learning about colors. I pay a lot attention to color harmony in my surroundings.

If someone is telling you what is beautiful and what is not, what goes with what color and what is not, do you agree with this person?

Depends on whether they are talking about themselves or someone else. As said, Iím a subjectivist what comes to beauty, so I leave people to have their own standards, though I will react if someone starts to push their view on others.

Tell us how you'd design any room, house or an office. Do you do it yourself or trust someone else to do it? Why?

Iím fairly particular also about my home decoration/design style, so I wouldnít easily let others decide. There are some people I trust in that, though, like my mother. I prefer my home having black and white as basic colors and then adding some warming elements. I like vintage and retro, green plants, art.

How do you know if a person has bad taste? Could you give us an example? Do you always trust your own taste or do you seek opinions from others?

If they just copy everything, or decorate/dress to impress with price tags showing. I like to explore with my style, so I can ask opinions, but in the end I make my own choices.

    Block IV

Can you line up human resources and make them do things? What methods do you use? Can you press people? If so, how does it happen?
I can on occasions, but I donít really enjoy it. I try to be as clear as possible what comes to what I want them to do, and I try to motivate them by creating a warm atmosphere. I can press people on extreme situations but usually only those closest to me.

What is incursion? How do you deal with this? Can you repulse? How easy can you do it?

Incursion has a bad sound to it, and mostly it can be justified only in extreme occasions, as in trying to prevent worse things from happening. My ability to repulse is black&white; on some occasions I can easily keep my boundaries, but there are some issues that can make it hard (not type-related necessarily). Iím fairly careful about my boundaries, so I feel strongly if they are crossed.

What does "my people" and "strangers" mean? When do "my people" become "strangers" and why?

I donít often think in these terms. I guess strangers are just neutral people out there, those who I havenít made any assessment about. My people can become strangers in a negative way, if they betray me.

Are there strategies of attack? Can you use them? When is it justified?

I suppose there are lots of strategies, Iím just not interested in them. To me itís justified only as a defense. I can attack emotionally in close relationships, if my core values are triggered. Not proud of that.

Do you think it's ok to occupy someone else's territory? In what situations?

Again, only in defense or if something bad is wanted to be prevented. How we assess whether something is bad is another thing. Losing human lives is probably one way to measure it.

What are the methods of volitional force? When is it most effective and in what situations?

Ugh, I donít know. Itís most efficient when itís regulated so not just individuals going crazy.

How do you protect yourself and your interests?

By keeping people at bay, by researching a lot/being educated, by being alert about what happens in my surroundings, by making sure I have good justifications for my views and values.

Describe your behavior in the situations of opposition and if you have to use some force?

If thereís no physical danger, I become very calm and careful with argumentation. I donít easily give up, but I always try to use words over physical intimidation.

Do others think of you as a strong person? Do you think you are a strong person?

Externally, I think many people think I have a strong personality. Thatís a shield and is based on being inquisitive, skeptical, and honest. I donít attack but I react to BS, and that can sometimes seem as if Iím a warrior of some sort. Which Iím not.

How do you understand if a person is strong? Are there any signs of a strong person? What is the core of any force? Why do people listen to one person, but not the other?

They are calm, collected, capable of self-irony, not easily reacting in a defensive way. They listen, donít dramatize, can argue rationally even under pressure. Itís not about physical power but about character.

What is boorishness? Does your understanding of it correlate with the generally accepted notion? How would you explain what boorishness mean to a 10 year old child? How would you explain the same to an adult who does not behave ethically?

Boorishness can mean a lot of things, but I guess the common nominator is some kind of indifference towards other people. Lack of empathy and/or compassion. Arrogance in that boorish person thinks he/she is entitled to behave poorly towards others. I get extremely triggered by this kind of behavior, because I see indifference as one of the biggest causes for suffering in the world. For a 10-year-old I would explain it means someone doesn’t care for other people’s feelings, which can cause a lot of harm. And also that mutual respect is needed for our society to function well; I’d encourage him to reflect on how he feels if he’s treated poorly. To an adult I would start questioning his justifications for his behavior in a rather Socratic manner.

How would you improve the moral of the society?

By educating people from early on, both about classic sophistication and emotional/social skills.

Can you justify somebody's bad behavior by thinking that he/she wasn't taught how to do so?

Depends on what he does. If someone comes from a different culture and doesn’t know certain codes of behavior, I would be more merciful as long as no one got harmed. I would try to teach them about manners and values. But I wouldn’t allow discriminating behavior to go on.

Give us your understanding of love. Can you love and punish at the same time?

I replied in the video so I’ll keep this short. Love means connection, which is a very basic need in humans without which we don’t survive for long. You can love someone and punish their behavior, if that is needed. If my son broke the law, I’d want him to get a punishment yet I’d still love him.

Have you heard about the Southern hospitality? Everything is for the guest. There is also a German hospitality – the master of the house is always right. What method is the right one? Try to evaluate without the weight of any cultural aspects, traditions, nations etc.

It doesn’t have to be a contradiction. Mutual respect and hospitality is what I look for.

What is sympathy? When do you need to express it? When is it advised not to?

Sympathy is taking the other person’s perspective, and it’s crucial for morality in my opinion. One can feel and express sympathy in any situation, yet it’s not always what should matter when considering e.g. retributions.

Are there any norms of behavior in the society? Do you follow them? Do people always have to follow them? Why?

I believe in common courtesy and value good manners, which means taking other people into account when acting in society, being polite, helping out, avoiding indifference in general. Whether they are written norms is another thing; I’d prefer to have them as something more inherent in us, part of our character. So my dream is people would desire to live a virtuous life without it having to be motivated from the external pressure.

How do you know what attitude among people is right or wrong?

I use my own values, and sympathy as much as possible (I have some trigger issues where I don’t have any sympathy). I’m aware we all have personal morals, so I don’t want to judge others too much, but I have to admit I feel strongly about my own values so can seem judgmental and self-righteous to others. I usually react only if I see people are endorsing activities that are harmful for others.

What does moral mean? What is immoral? Does your understanding correlate with the others? How can you evaluate the correctness of your own understanding?

See above. To me moral means virtuous; it has to come from within. Even if I’m partially happy if people don’t act immorally, it’s not the same if they don’t actually have that value but are behaving well only because it’s more beneficial for them. I have studied philosophy and ethics quite a bit, and I’m aware these are issues that have no one truth but are under constant debate. I believe it’s important that every generations discusses their own morality, as our world is dynamic, changing place, and new ethical problems arise all the time.

Somebody is giving you a negative attitude – what is your reaction? Could you show your own negative attitude toward someone else? If so, how? Could you give a person the silent treatment? How easily do you forgive people?

What is meant by a negative attitude? I get most reactive with passive-aggressive people. Either you say it to me straight, or you stop. I can call people out on that. Whether I show my own negative attitude towards someone else depends on the situation. If I do, I usually try to explain what bothers me in their behavior/values/views. I don’t like silent treatments, as that’s a form of passive-aggression, but I can do it if there are no other means available.

I never forget anything that has given me negative emotions, so it can be debated if I ever really forgive. Some issues I don’t forgive, unfortunately, one of them being betrayal. I’m not revengeful, though, I just take a step back and distance myself from that person. It’s extremely difficult for me to trust again, as I don’t trust easily in the first place.

    Block VI

"Whole world does not cost one tear of child" – how do you understand this phrase? Do you agree with this opinion?

Does this mean the suffering of one child in an otherwise harmonious world? Never agreed with that. I don’t like consensus, if the price is ignoring suffering.

Is it acceptable to express emotions? Give examples of inappropriate expression of emotions.

Yes, I don’t see emotions being unacceptable. The way they are expressed can be, though. There are times when it’s maybe not the wisest thing to let everything show, but in general I don’t criticize emotionality.

Can you use negative emotions? In what situations?

Justified anger has a lot of power, and it is ok to use it as a motor to change.

How do you express negative emotions? What does it look like? What do others think about it?

I have been called scary and intimidating several times in my life. I have strong emotions, and my face can go very expressive when I’m angry, so I have learned to take that into account. In close relationships I can be very turbulent. Sometimes I try to release my anger by exercising, but often only time helps with it.

Shallow emotions – what does it mean? Are there any other emotions?

I don’t know what this means really. Maybe faking it just for some instrumental purposes.

What are right or wrong emotions?

There are no right and wrong emotions, as I don’t believe our emotions are volitional enough to have that kind of status. What we do with our emotions is what matters.

Can you change the emotional state of yourself? Of others? To what side – positive or negative?

Not easily. I often feel I’m a victim of my own moods. I’m better at changing other people’s emotions, and I can also be infected by their emotional states, though not always.

What does it mean to "pour out your emotions"? How does it happen?

Express emotions? I use words mostly to do that, sometimes lots of body language, too. It sounds like this is something not under control, but I believe it’s important we allow others and ourselves to express our emotions in a constructive way.

Does your internal emotional state correlate with what you show externally?

Not necessarily, though my face can leak out my moods at some amount. I’m more introverted when I’m melancholic and more enthusiastic and engaging when in a good mood. I absolutely hate to cry in public, so I will try to hide my disappointments and anything that would make me cry anywhere but at home.

Do you track what mood you are in throughout the day? Do you notice the mood of others?

Yes and yes. I’ve been an emotional barometer all my life, very alert to the moods of others. That can be also something else than type-related (=environmental). My moods change fast and furiously, so I don’t have much choice but to notice them. I wish I was less turbulent.

    Do you like surprises?
No, never have, unless itís something Iíve really dreamed about. But I do like changes and novelty.

How people change? How do you feel about those changes? Can others see the changes?

We all change, whether we want it or not, and not always in a good way. I get melancholic when I think about how nothing lasts. On the other hand this kind of dynamism allows for growth, too, so itís a fortunate thing. I just feel sad, if I lose people from my life.
I guess we all see changes, but very often we prefer to keep our eyes shut out of fear or just for comfort. I get happy when I see positive changes in other people or myself, but I also look for contuinity.

Is it true that whatever happens is only for the best?

No, absolutely no. Thatís ridiculous. Is it for the best someone dies in an accident? Itís banal to say things like that.

What do you think of horoscopes, fortune telling etc.? Do you believe in luck, lucky fortuity

No, I donít believe in stuff like that. Though I was into astrology as a teenager, but it was mainly because I didnít have resources to explore other kind of typologies (time before the internet). I never used it for fortune telling, though, more to explore my own personality, as archetypes.

Can you forecast events? Is it even real?

No, not in any magical or intuitive way. Forecasting is at most what weathermen do. No one can see the future.

What is time? How do you feel time? Can you "kill" time? How?

My time is my life, and Iím greedy about it. I can get anxious about ďlosing lifeĒ, if I feel I donít have meaningful future ahead, or if I stay depressed for a long time. I rarely manage to cease the day but always tend to live either in the past or in future, which I see as a defect.

Is it easy for you to wait for some important event? What if you donít know when it is supposed to happen?

Depends what kind of event it is. I tend to be very anxious, restless, and impatient in waiting, but it can also add excitement, as being a child before Christmas.

Do you need help creating forecasts and determining how something will end? Do you trust those forecasts?

Well who can trust forecasts with all their heart? I donít trust anyone who says the can. Iím fairly talented at creating lots of negative scenarios and seeing everything ending up really bad, and I can be pessimistically biased.

Are you normally late? How do you react if someone is late?

I used to never be late and was good at planning my time, but itís gotten worse in recent years. I feel embarrassed being late, because it feels disrespectful to keep people waiting. I donít mind too much if someone else is late, unless itís a repeating pattern and they are badly late a lot of time.

Imagine the situation where you agreed to meet with someone. Your feelings and actions: a) 20 minutes before the meeting starts, b) 5 minutes before the meeting starts, c) it is time for the meeting to start, but the person is not here, d) 20 minutes after the meeting start time and the person is not here, e) more time and the person is still not here

I imagine meeting someone I know fairly well.

    1. Iím probably on my way to the meeting, and preparing to socialize. I tend to be a little hypervigilant before social situations, though Iím not shy. I try to make sure Iím not late myself, and if it seems I might, I will send them SMS.
    2. Iím hopefully already there.
    3. Iím waiting patiently, maybe checking my phone.
    4. I would have called them already, and if I didnít have a number or they didnít answer, Iíd maybe left (unless I still had a drink).
    5. I wouldnít wait for longer than 30 minutes. Iíd feel annoyed, if there was no explanation, and I would expect to have one at some point. If there was an explanation, it would be ok.

    Block VIII

Is there a meaning of life? In what? Is it the same for everybody?

Thereís no universal meaning of life, but we can all have personal goals and desires that we may want to live true and find subjectively meaningful.

What should be done so people can be happy?

To make sure everyone has a good childhood in a loving surroundings. Thatís the core of happiness in my understanding and makes one able to take a lot of crap later in life. Also to minimize inequality and discrimination.

When you meet a stranger, what can you say about them right away? How do you know what this person is all about? Does it take long to understand someone's talents?

I read a lot based on their posture, body language, outlook (clothes, style), and if I end up talking with them, their accent and style and content of speaking reveals a lot. I have no problem talking with anyone, unless they are crossing my boundaries (e.g. talking sexual content, being aggressive or rude). General small-talk I can manage and usually end up learning lots of interesting details of people.

Remember an interesting person and call out 5-6 qualities you think are interesting in them. What makes an interesting person? Are you an interesting person? Why? What if someone calls you "boring" and "not interesting"?

Interesting people live a life at its fullest, fulfilling their dreams and not hiding who they are. This specific person had done exactly that; she was courageous, curious, open-minded, true humanitarian, but also down-to-earth.
Whether Iím interesting is for others to decide, and I donít think there are universally shared standards for that. Iím unpredictable at some amount and I have many layers and contradictions to me, which some people can find interesting. If someone calls me boring, thatís up to them. I can easily entertain myself without ever getting bored, and what others think is not stopping me doing that.

What opinions, from people who know you, seem: a) fair; b) not fair; c) hurtful; d) strange.
Iím not sure I understood this question right, but Iím thinking of opinions on specific topics.

    1. everyone has right to their worldview/political opinion/religion, so even if they are opposite to mine, I will see them as fair (as long as they donít violate othersí rights in living their beliefs true)
    2. referring to above, if someone denies rights from others that they themselves enjoy
    3. acceptance of any kind of abuse or not caring about it
    4. I find some religious beliefs strange

Do you fantasize? What kind of fantasies do you have?

I often fantasize about a future career, about doing something meaningful and fulfilling in helping others. I also fantasize about having inner peace, in being happy, and it can include very concrete things (a dream home, a cat) as well as emotional connections.

What qualities should a person have to be successful and why?

Sense of realism, motivation, ability to reflect (including about oneís own character), curiosity, patience, endurance. As I struggle with follow-through myself, I see perseverance as one of the most important qualities, as otherwise itís all about dreams.

What qualities can stop a person from being successful and why?

Low self-esteem, lack of concentration, lack of motivation, depression. Without fire no one moves.

What is more important in life Ė to be a good person or be a successful one? Why? Is a good person always successful? If not, then why?
To be a good person would be ultimate success to me. I donít care about external status measurements, and I feel uncomfortable in situations that emphasize hierarchies and earning points.

    @lajlaa

Fi base is very clear throughout the video, as is IJ temperament.

I lean more towards ESI than EII on this video. You mention things like 'being pessimistic when it comes to human nature' and difficultly trusting other people, and if someone lies to you then you cut them out of your life. These sorts of attitudes tend to be more common with gamma ESI than with delta EII. EII tends to be more trusting and forgiving of wrong deeds in general. But it could also be enneagram 6 if that's your type.

Also you mentioned about being emotionally very moody and intense. I don't have strong evidence for this, it's more based on personal observation, but it seems that gamma ESI tends more towards this intensity than EII. Perhaps it has to do with that creative Se.

I saw a different video of you from another personality typology group, and in that one you seemed slightly more EII.

Regardless, I think you have a strong Fi subtype and that can confuse things. I didn't see as much Se compared to some of the other ESI videos I've watched but I didn't see much Ne either. Your answers were clear and quickly to the point. Ne ego types, including EII tend to ramble a little more, or do more free associations like, 'oh, that reminds me of _________."

    My guess is 70% ESI-Fi, 30% EII-Fi.

Thanks for the feedback! @Maritsa I'd love to hear your typing.
@Sol Interesting you see ENTj. I've been previously typed as TeNi in another system, and Gulenko saw me as EIE with Ej temperament. Both were based on visual reading, did you also use that?
@chips and underwear I have actually lots of videos in Vaselan's Utube channel where we talk about typology topics. I self-type as INFP in MBTI, but in Socionics it's been either EII or ESI, depending on whether I want to be compatibilist what comes to MBTI and Socionics. Tricky thing is that I don't see myself either as Ne or Se PoLR, especially not Ne PoLR. Some people have thought that my Enneagram (CP 6) can make me more forceful as an EII, but then some others think I'm clearly an ESI. At least I seem to look more like Gamma, but my inner values and interrelations fit Delta better, as I seek Si from others and tend to connect well with deltas in general.

MBT uses same Jung's types and on preferences level is compatible. ENTJ = LIE, INTP = ILI, etc.
EIE is close, but I'm sure your type is T.

Both were based on visual reading, did you also use that?
my main method is intuitive impressions from nonverbal behavior, so I use visual info much

You may check your intertype relations with examples of types in my signature, - does it fit to ENTJ more than other types.

@Sol I'm also sure Fi/Te are in my valued functions, but I have struggled seeing what is in my ego block. Though Fi has always felt the easiest to see, so I've been settled in Fi-ego typing. I tend to get along best with Delta types, and I'm fairly sure my husband is SLI. I can imagine ExTp being my conflictor.

@darya yes, I'm Finnish. In general Finnish people are more often less expressive than many other people, and we definitely don't value Fe here. Also our language is quite monotone, so we can sound flat and boring haha.

Just from the way you speak you seem to be a Ethical type. I find that T types have a difficult time expressing their "love" of another's actions even though they would love to hear it. Your apparent ease of that expression right off makes you and ethical attitude. Would you agree?

I summoned @Myst she is quite good at typing.

All I can say is EXI-Fi for you most likely. I think ESI is slightly more likely based on this video but you could be EII and the cp type 6 makes you appear more ESI like.

I do believe I'm an ethical type, specifically Fi-ego. ExI is the typing I feel most comfortable in, just don't know which one and what subtype. I'm glad my Fi-valuing has been unanimously seen.

First impression is EII. You VI a quite a bit like several EIIs I know, and I think, just based on the pictures I've seen of her, you VI a bit like Birdie who is a user on here and also an EII.

I'd have to watch more to really definitely give a typing because I could see ESI. I just think EII is the more likely choice from what I know right now.

Thank you! EII-Fi is the type what I can imagine I'd feel most comfortable being, if I was at my healthiest. As said, I believe my Enneatype (CP 6) explains the somewhat forceful and anxious background vibe I have, and I have trouble getting over betrayal of trust. But the reason for that can really extend over sociotype.

Attachment issues; I have huge trouble trusting anyone in the first place, so betrayal is a nightmare, because it can only happen after you've trusted someone. I think anyone who has had their boundaries crossed earlier in life will experience this. It's not a cognitive preference but happens more at the limbic system level.

Yes, superficially you show as LIE (I have seen the look of "What do you think you are talking about? in a female LIE before), but when you are relaxed or distracted, you look ESI. Counter-phobic also sounds right. Very vigilant, except when momentarily off guard, at which point very ESI.

Listening to you more carefully, I think you are intuitive, so EII. Not being a spineless wallflower does not one ESI make. ESI's are way over-typed on this forum anyway, especially the male ones. It's the new "it" type to be.

I agree LIE is more like my "shield role". In MBTI/Keirsey I'm without a doubt NF temperament and most likely INFP, so depending on whether one wants to be a compatibilist or not, my sociotype can be affected by that.
@Maritsa just to make sure you mean ESI not SIE?
@Sol haha I wish he would agree on a video but no. However I really can't see any other types than SLI or ILI for him. What comes to me liking T or F types romantically, I'd say both, but long term I believe a calm and patient T type is a better fit (coz no F would put up with me on a daily basis). I checked through the pics on your site, but I don't really feel attracted to anyone just based on a pic, so it's difficult to say.
