    Default Another Test

Not sure if I've seen this one on here:

    http://nsi.sociotest.net/SOLTI-160eng.html

Longer test, it gives pretty detailed results.

    ILI.

Interesting that I score as rational yet still ILI. My Ti score was also much higher than my Te score. Strange.

Took it awhile back, EIE was the highest, IEI the next. SEI the lowest.

Like @Ellyan I chose the middle option 3 for quite a few answers.

Oh no husband and I came out as conflictors in this test!

i got sle in first place, eii in last place, lie in second place.

curiously i got really high on centralist which i hadn't heard of before, and very low on sensing. i also got creepy high on extroversion for some reason.

Edit: I'm stupid. peripheral vs centralist is ne/si vs ni/se

I got LIE, with much less Ni than most LIE's. Also extremely extroverted, no surprise there.

Like Satan, I scored high on central, whatever that is. But I also scored as being static, rather than dynamic, which is strange because I see everything as being in motion. Maybe this was a result of a couple of the questions being unclear to me.

I also scored very high on Se, which is probably why the test said I was unusually SEE-like, and five times more like an SLE than the average LIE. This might account for my visceral attraction to IEI's. Too bad my Te hurts them. Guess I'm stuck with ESI's.

    Good find.

(I didn't like how the IMs seemed to be put into groups, as it made it harder for me...it would have been better if they were mixed up I think. I found the first half or so of the questions more difficult to answer than the second half possibly for this reason)

Hurts? In what way do you find it hurts them?

It's not that dramatic for me. I don't find Te painful, just irritating, like dealing with tax stuff or banking "correctly", as in how I was taught. I don't balance my books or even check banking for months at a time but I have my own system that works. Plus I have most of my bills on autopay and get low balance notifications when I need to cut back on expenses or add funds. Much of my life is automated at this point so I get the most out of the time I have left on earth. This is a good time period for the Te polr and I think it is just going to get easier.

It was most irritating when I was still in school but in the real world I have come to accept myself as I am so if others don't like it they can kick rocks. Empirical data does not sway me. I am not bad at fact checking if I have to but don't usually find it necessary unless it is going to cost me, in the long run, if I don't do my research. It can be too time consuming when I have a good sense of how things will go. My ways baffled and annoyed my ILI stepdad when I was younger but I have adapted to changes in tech quickly plus I use some of the tricks he taught me.

It's actually easy to dismiss someone else's Te in favor of what I KNOW. Maybe I have become a bit of a know it all like him but not as in your face with it. Sometimes I speak with such confidence in what I am saying that people believe me even when I have some underlying doubts to the accuracy. ILI sometimes will call me on that. I think that it hurts Te users more than it hurts me when I dismiss their efforts to correct my knowledge in some way. Least painful polr there is. I would not switch polrs with anyone.

    ASKING

    what is peripheral/central and ascending/descending? I didn't find it here: http://www.wikisocion.org/en/?title=Dichotomies

I'm guessing they're aristocratic (central) and decisive (ascending) since I tested that way and got sort of high in betas (plus those are the only two reinins I didn't account for above)

So since the test goes from -2.5 to 2.5 and compares you to the average, I'm guessing that's standard deviation, which means I'm in like the upper 2% or something crazy for EIE, which means it's a fairly strong result. So shouldn't I just trust it? I'm being annoying

But I sort of want to know what CENTRAL is since I tested so unusually high there. I didn't detect any aristocratic/democratic questions and I remember a couple that were like "I want to live in a peaceful clime where everyone is in harmony and Si relaxed eating vittles" where I probably put a higher answer than is really true because I really didn't want a false negative in SEI or some type I don't want to be (because I don't trust myself not to lie to myself)... the only other ones I might have downplayed were the ones like "I have good sense of where things are headed and what will happen," to the point where I thought I'd test low on Ni, but I didn't, so okay. Yeah I am probably Ni, which means I don't understand about half of that function's definition. Or I am totally delusional? So maybe Central means decisive instead, and maybe that is only related to why I tested high in Ni or vice versa?

Oh snap maybe it's just because I answered 5 to very few things, and the masochism question was one of them. Eheh... NTR. Fuck I need to re-take this but I don't feel like it...

Also there were like 4 questions I had to put "3" for because I didn't know what the fuck they meant by that... don't just leave it open to interpretation

Sorry I don't want to ask just a small portion of my questions because that will make me squirm. I hope by allowing everyone to discount this as a spider-rant that I am not commiting any social faux pas... don't get mad at me because then I have to work to win you back I'm starting to think I'm some lazy ESE honestly
Ouronis said it's Ne/Si vs Ni/Se, I wouldn't put too much stock into reinin dicotomies on their own anyways.
    Individualist/ Collectivist is Democratic/ Aristocratic.
Your results look good to me.

The order went SEI ~ ESE > ESI ~ IEE > the rest >> ILI and LIE

You are talking about the first version. The one I filled out had around 750 questions.

After reading your post I searched for the test and found MMPI-2 but I am not sure how to read it. Here is a screenshot of the beginning of the results. I am not sure if my answers were consistent or not. I also got a 1 raw score for lie. Does that mean I admitted to a lie? I didn't intentionally lie on any of it but it was difficult to answer many of the questions conclusively the way they were phrased. I could answer to one phrasing true but asked another way seemed more false. I guess this is why it is only useful and valid in the hands of trained professionals. I think a test like this is good if you are having a dialogue with a professional and they can help clarify when you are unsure. Of course all tests like this will mark me high on schizophrenia unless I am given an opportunity to clarify my own answers and explain how these things are more intuitive and not crazy. I think it is suggesting I am a hypochondriac but I'm not. I am just very sensitive to certain things.

What I find interesting is that these charts show how most Reinins beyond the jungian dichotomies are useless.

Most of them are hardly significantly apart from middle. Both for the actual test results and for the averages.

The only one that's significant for me is reasonable (peripheral) >> decisive (central).

It's kind of weird that I score slightly higher on ethical than logical according to dichotomies, yet it says my leading type is LII.

Because it takes into account more points than just that one. That's why it's a more refined evaluation than most tests, it seems.
