    Default An Interesting Site

A long time ago I found this:

    http://endmyopia.org

It seems to work, although I can't talk about these kinds of things with some people I know, who can be sort of blockheads to me sometimes (I mean, I love them, but sometimes they come off a wee bit dense. That's probably just how they've been brought up though, in the cases where they have flashes of insight). If you have the common kinds of vision problems (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia) give this a go, but whatever you do, don't get LASIK (that's the elective surgery from Hell) and use contacts minimally and judiciously if at all.

yikes. i just looked it up. i had no idea that LASIK could go so wrong.

also, have you heard of visual snow?
You can just look up eye exercises on youtube.

For some reason it does, but there's disagreement on why.

Reminds me when I went to an optometrist once, he was telling me people that read a lot or look at a computer/tv screen a lot are more likely to develop near-sightedness. So there does seem to be something going on with the eyes.

The higher strength glasses you wear, the more myopia grows because the eyes adapt the previous graduation. This is how myopia developes from a small visual defect due to normal eye adaptative measures, to a full blown visual problem. This is why it is better to wear glasses with a bit less graduation than what you need.
