I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I did. My whole family. From all the extroverted functions they said that they see Te the most in my behaviour(efficiency, orderliness, structure etc). Funnily enough, they also said that all the Fe stuff(care for others, ebullience etc) are NOT ME(well except rage, but that is a different topic). And now I've played right into it because I remember a thing. It'd be so nice to have a detailed analysis of why you are like you are. Damn, now I've a problem with introverted functions. You did and I thank you! It's just that a man can't be certain of anything in this day and age. I've played a good spy story in SWTOR(I.A.) and people kept changing sexes, aliens were men and everything was what it was not. Something similar is happening in the real world, kinda troubling. It is...some petty malaise.
So, do you really believe I'm your dual Adam? Be as it may, I need to read some more about reinins.
There are no shortcuts because if there were I would have found them years ago. Looking to intertype relations might be helpful once you know you. You can't base who you are on how you relate to someone who may or may not be a certain type.
If you are doing this just for fun though then carry on.
Or make video and Sol can tell you who you are and you will never have to think about it again. Alternatively, flip a coin until you narrowed it down to one type.

You might be. I haven't interacted enough with you to know, really, but I've never noticed you saying anything that I thought was stupid or weird or incongruent to my general world-view. Mostly, I was just endorsing your own choice for fun, because, why not? I don't try to force people into boxes. Hence the smiley face after the "analysis".
Realistically, I don't think it is easy to discern duality over optical fiber. I worked with a man for two years before it dawned on me that he was ESI-Fi. He was very, very competent but just faded into the background. (Because no conflict, I suppose.) I worked with a woman for several months before it dawned on me that she was ESI-Se. I mostly realized it when I thought back over our interactions and discovered two things. One, we never really argued. Two, I found myself feeling happy after every meeting, regardless of what was discussed. When I started to actually look at her behavior, I realized it was in-line with descriptions of ESI. And I knew a second woman for three years, and thought she might be a semi-dual, because I looked forward to seeing her, missed her when I couldn't, but didn't lust after her. (I was still not familiar with LIE-ESI interactions then.) I asked her to take a socionics test, she did, and she is ESI-Fi. So, for me at least, duality is not something I can easily see, even in person, although I'm getting better at it. I just rely on self-reporting.
