Queen of the Damned
80 things I considered last night
I didn't do this to be typed. I took it on as challenge last night and tired after the logical questions so I finished this morning. I don't mind analysis but it probably won't make me change my mind about my type so if your intention is to convince me of a different type, then it might be a waste of time, without a very convincing argument.
When I read it my tone sounds so off from my speaking tone. I sound colder or more detached. Not sure... Some of you heard me on voice chat and will know what I mean. I am not being completely serious in some of my responses which should be clear. I thought about real life situations when answering and not online interactions but there is some overlap.
1. General to specific, specific to general – what does it mean?
General is to give a broad overview of a situation without getting into details but for clarity sometimes one must get specific. Specific to general is often tedious if I am not interested in the process or the subject so I would rather be given the general idea. That is usually enough unless I am trying to learn a new skill.
2. What does “logical” mean? What is your understanding? Do you think that it correlates with the common view?
For me it means reasoning and critical thinking to make sense of something or it is knowing when and how to apply common sense.
3. How do you explain fractions on the dial of the clock?
Obsolete, next question.
4. What is a rule? What rules you must to follow?
A rule is something used to control the masses and keep society running smoothly. It also prevents the average person from killing their neighbor or becoming a vigilante.
There is also rule of thumb which can mean you can follow established guidelines that generally work when resolving common problems without having to waste time testing things that are probably unrelated and/or have been ruled out, based on knowledge and experience, as the cause of a problem. I wish someone would teach this to tech support.
5. What is hierarchy? Do you need to follow it? Why or why not?
A hierarchy can be used socially, in business, interpersonally, etc... It helps people evaluate the importance of people or ideas when trying to achieve a goal. It is usually best to skip the middle men and go right to the top or at the very least evaluate which middle men are more likely to get you were you want to be. That's Groupie 101...j/k!
6. What do you think of instructions? Do you use them? Could you write an instruction manual? If so, what type of instruction manual would you most likely write?
Instructions are useful when doing more difficult tasks. It pays to understand what you are getting into. Improvising is ok too but I feel more comfortable following instructions when it is life or death situation or something is really expensive. Like I will read instructions for medication or so I don't inadvertently kill someone I love by not grounding something properly.
I would not like to write a manual. It would give me a headache but I am ok giving quick verbal instructions. I do tend to be impatient when people are very slow to grasp something I know well so I prefer to leave it to someone who actually enjoys doing it and is skilled at explaining.
7. Please explain: “Freedom is in complying with the laws, but not in ignoring the laws”? Do you agree with the statement? Why?
I do not find this question relevant. moving on....
8. Tell us how consistent are you?
I try to be consistent in my beliefs but not easy to do all the time. I do like it when others can be consistent with me because it balances me out and gives me a sense of stability but I am not averse to chaos and it can be fun too.
9. What is a “standard”? Why do people need it?
It is a measurement of quality. I guess people need them to aid in the decision process. Without them you can get caught up in endless indecision. Having a base of standards can be useful when you aren't sure exactly what you want but know what you do not want.
10. You need to put in order your home library. How do you feel about this activity? How will you approach this task?
According to subjects. It would take me forever to find anything otherwise since I have too many books and am more likely to remember the content of what I am looking for before the title. I would ask for someone to help me do this because I would be overwhelmed and probably grow bored doing it alone.
1. What is work in your opinion? Why do people go to work? Are there any parameters where you can distinguish whether you can do this work or not?
Something I do not prefer. Filtering out the obvious reasons for working I am sure people have their own reasons for working. I was good at choosing jobs I enjoyed and never really stayed long at one I didn't.
2. Is there any correlation between quality and quantity? Tell us if or how the price depends on quality?
Not really. People tend to assume if it costs more it is probably better which is hardly the case unless you are going for high end items and even then it is iffy. My dad taught me to give refurbished items a chance and I have had good luck with them but I still prefer new things. It pays to do some research before making major purchases. More expensive brand name things can have horrible real life ratings.
Then there can be a problem with ratings/reviews. as well. so you have to go on experience too. Once you disregard part of the reviews as possible fakes, then disregard another good portion for complete idiocy then you might have an idea about the quality. I mean what kind of review is "this is such a pretty red." or "the item came on time" when trying to determine quality? At least take a picture if you can't verbalize it. I can't tell the shade just by "pretty" and it might be hideous to me. I also would like to know if it fades quickly if I am looking for a new shade of red hair color.
3. How do people determine the quality of work? How do you determine such quality? How well you can determine the quality of any purchase, do you pay any attention to it?
I just know when it comes to the quality of someone's work. It is pretty obvious.
With purchases it is trial and error. If I impulse buy I have no one to blame but myself. If it is ok but not up to my standards I will probably give it away to someone who appreciates it. If not throw it away and buy something else. Just about anything can be given away though.
4. How do you feel if you didn’t finish some work? Does it ever happen? What are the reasons?
I do not like this question.
5. What is “interesting work” for you? Please explain in detail.
Interesting work would involve some element of magic. Maybe the study and practice of it. Like some form of practical magic but not something so far out that it would be unattainable.
6. You go to the store and see something you’re interested in buying, there is a price tag on it. What parameters are you going to use to understand if it’s overpriced, underpriced, or priced correctly?
If I go to the store, and not purchase online, I use an app that does all the comparisons for me. If I really want it, right then (which is probably the case if I made the effort to go to the store), price will not matter as much but I still check. Sometimes after buying it if I was caught up in the moment. Returns are a hassle but I can always give it to someone else.
7. When you work and someone tells you: “You don’t do it right.” What is your reaction?
If they say it nicely and are constructive I don't mind. If they are a jerk about it I will tell them to do it themselves and take a break or leave. I won't be talked down to.
8. Right next to you there is a real professional. You always see that you can’t perform the way he does. Your feelings, thoughts and actions?
Professional what? If they are working on my plumbing I will walk away and let them do their job. If they are working on my computer I will ask questions and probably annoy them. In my last career there was always an element of competition and I played to win. It was the nature of the job though. You can't let someone else undermine your confidence so you focus on what you are good at.
9. When you have to ask someone else to help you with the task, how do you feel?
If I can't figure something out or I really need help I will ask nicely and probably say please. I feel I just saved myself a huge headache and didn't waste time by not asking for help.
10. You need to build a pyramid, exactly like in Egypt. Your thoughts, feelings and actions?
I am not even going to answer this since there is no need for me to ever build a pyramid. I said the same about math though.
1. Tell us what is beauty? Do you change your opinion about beauty? Does your understanding correlate with the generally accepted notion? What goes beyond the generally accepted notion?
Beauty is something I feel deeply but is hard to describe. It would be easier to just show someone what I consider beauty. I see beauty in nature, art, music, dance, poetry, emotion, among other things, and the only real connecting link is the feeling of awe it can inspire.
2. Describe, please, your understanding of a beautifully dressed man or a woman. What is the core of beauty? How do you explain what is beautiful to a person who has never heard about beauty before?
I can see an item of clothing as beautiful but usually it is not the awe inspiring kind and it is a fleeting thought. It does not really inspire me to contemplate what makes it beautiful beyond the initial attraction to it. It is not something I see as lasting beauty.
I would explain it by asking them if they had ever felt in love and if they hadn't I wouldn't bother. It would be like describing being in love to someone who never experienced it. I could not describe it in way to do it justice. I could show them something and hope they could see it through my eyes or hear it through my ears, so to speak.
3. Is there a template of understanding what beautiful means for everyone to use? Is there such a term as “classical beauty”? If so, what is it?
No probably not. There is a term but I don't always find it represents my personal taste.
4. What is comfort? What is coziness? How do you create your comfort and coziness? How do others evaluate your skill in doing so? Do you agree with them?
I am usually comfortable when I am not overwhelmed by unwanted sensations, like pain, or bothered by things I have to do. Cozy is lying on a perfect pillow, under a super soft blanket in a memory foam bed, on high thread count Egyptian cotton, or silk sheets, in an cold room.
5. How do you pick your own clothes? Do you follow fashion? Why? Do you know how to select clothes for different types of figures?
I pick things that make me feel feminine and pretty or maybe a bit like a "bad bitch". Depends on my mood. I know how to pick clothes for men better than other women.
6. How do you cook? Do you follow recipes? What others think about your skill?
With great reluctance. I will follow recipes even when I have made it before. I am never sure if I am doing it right otherwise. It is so long in between I tend to forget. If it is something simple then no recipe. People seem to like it but maybe they are just grateful I did it.
7. Are you good at color patterns and mixing them and matching?
Not really. I know what I like but I try to get some guidance in these areas. I am ok with colors but some patterns look gaudy mixed together. If I really like it though I don't care what others think.
8. If someone is telling you what is beautiful and what is not, what goes with what color and what is not, do you agree with this person?
It depends if I like it.
9. Tell us how you’d design any room, house or an office. Do you do it yourself or trust someone else to do it? Why?
If I had to actually design it I would just throw money at the problem to make it go away. If it is something just for me and only decorating I would pick what I like.
10. How do you know if a person has bad taste? Could you give us an example? Do you always trust your own taste or do you seek opinions from others?
I was told if I can't say something nice about other people's choices bite my tongue. My tongue is permanently swollen. Kidding! If they are not close to me I probably would not say anything to them but might comment to someone I am close to. I don't tend to remember stuff like that for long so no examples off the top of my head.
Sometimes I ask for input or some validation that I am making the right choice if I am not sure.
1. Can you line up human resources and make them do things? What methods do you use? Can you press people? If so, how does it happen?
Yes I imagine I can and have. I will ask them, persuade, or bribe them if it is important enough. I have resorted to ultimatums but only when I was sure I could live with the consequences if it did not turn out in my favor.
2. What is incursion? How do you deal with this? Can you repulse? How easy can you do it?
It is an attack and yes I can repulse. Who chose these words? It depends on the situation. I am not defenseless.
3. What does “my people” and “strangers” mean? When do “my people” become “strangers” and why?
I like the term my tribe and those are people I feel some kind of affinity for. It is almost supernatural. A stranger is someone I cannot vibe with even when I try. My people do not usually become strangers but someone can become an enemy if they push me and undermine me enough. I am pretty forgiving but I have limits. Then I vote them out of the tribe. They may have a chance to get back in but it would depend on my mood.
4. Are there strategies of attack? Can you use them? When is it justified?
I will go on offense when I have to. I usually see this stuff coming for awhile and already planned how to respond if it reaches a certain point. It is justified when someone decides you make an easy target or continuously harasses you or when they attack someone you care about.
5. Do you think it’s ok to occupy someone else’s territory? In what situations?
What? I don't even know what this means really. I would not think it was ok for someone to try and interfere with my relationships with other people or overstep their boundaries.
6. What are the methods of volitional force? When is it most effective and in what situations?
These questions are making me tired.
7. How do you protect yourself and your interests?
By keeping some things that are important to me private.
8. Describe to us your behavior in the situations of opposition and if you have to use some force?
I am done with these. I already said I can defend myself and they are redundantly boring now
9. Do others think of you as a strong person? Do you think you are a strong person?
Is this a physical question? If so I am strong for my size. I am emotionally and psychologically strong too.
10. How do you understand if a person is strong? Are there any signs of a strong person? What is the core of any force? Why do people listen to one person, but not the other?
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
1. What is boorishness? Does your understanding of it correlate with the generally accepted notion? How would you explain to a 10 year old child what boorishness means? How would you explain the same to an adult who does not behave ethically?
I wouldn't use that word to begin with. If asked I would tell them it was someone who behaved like an inconsiderate bore (boar) or make them look it up like I had to. An adult behaving in that way would get more than a dictionary from me. They would get a suggestion to get some manners and therapy or if I was feeling particularly annoyed they might get stone-walled for awhile. Depends on the situation.
2. How would you improve the moral of the society?
I would reinstate prohibition, chastity belts, prayer in school, book burning, witch-hunts, public floggings, public executions and perhaps the iron maiden. Similar methods worked throughout history. Or did they mean morale? If morale reverse the above and add a few things.
It is not my place to improve the morals of society and I live in a glass house so no stone throwing .
3. Can you justify somebody’s bad behavior by thinking that he/she wasn’t taught how to do so?
To a point but then it becomes ridiculous once they know better and/or are provided with resources to help them cope.
4. Give us your understanding of love. Can you love and punish at the same time?
Love is a state of being and ideally is unconditional since it does not depend on any external actions. There are different kinds of love like familial and romantic. Alternatively it is caring for someone so much that you make difficult choices including punishment but only as a last resort. Better to teach by example than punish someone for something they have not learned yet. See my answer to beauty above for more information.
5. Have you heard about the Southern hospitality? Everything is for the guest. There is also a German hospitality – the master of the house is always right. What method is the right one? Try to evaluate without the weight of any cultural aspects, traditions, nations etc.
When someone visits my home I tell them where everything is and to make themselves at home since they might not see me for periods of time. When I visit someone else's home I can play by their rules or leave.
6. What is sympathy? When do you need to express it? When is it advised not to?
My definition of sympathy is pity and I don't do that very often since I don't want people to pity me. I show empathy and kindness and may commiserate. I know it is just semantics but they are my semantics. I am capable of understanding others don't think of sympathy as pity. I use my intuition when offering support. I might not always get it right but I would rather feel my way through it so again depends on the situation.
7. Are there any norms of behavior in the society? Do you follow them? Do people always have to follow them? Why?
Yes there are norms and sometimes you have to adapt to them long enough to reach your goals. I don't make the rules for other people. If I don't like your behavior I will most likely stay away from you instead of trying to be the morality police.
8. How do you know what attitude among people is right or wrong?
"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."
9 . What does moral mean? What is immoral? Does your understanding correlate with the others? How can you evaluate the correctness of your own understanding?
Again this redundant and I have already answered. I have my own code of ethics that apply to me.
10. Somebody is giving you a negative attitude – what is your reaction? Could you show your own negative attitude toward someone else? If so, how? Could you give a person the silent treatment? How easily do you forgive people?
It depends on how close we are and what kind of mood I am in. I can stone-wall with the best of them. I forgive quickly and mercilessly, unless it was something really traumatizing which takes more time, even though I might not let them know I let it go until I finish processing. I might not let them know at all since forgiveness is something you do for yourself and not the other.
1. "Whole world does not cost one tear of child" – how do you understand this phrase? Do you agree with this opinion?
To me it means you can have what you want without causing intentional pain to others. If you must cause intentional pain then it probably is not worth acquiring and if you do get it, it probably well feel hollow.
2. Is it acceptable to express emotions? Give examples of inappropriate expression of emotions.
Sure emotions can paint a picture for others and can uplift people or inspire them to action. If you are in a setting where anger is appropriate and you feel it then express it but have some control over yourself or people will just think you are immature, insane, or volatile and they won't hear what you have to say.
Examples of inappropriate emotional expression could be fighting in public or intentionally ruining something for others just because you can't control you own negativity. If you are genuinely upset go to a friend and talk in private. Don't go to a wedding and have an angry outburst because you are still single or you partner broke up with you. That's inconsiderate. Talk to people who actually care about you. Most of this is common sense though.
3. Can you use negative emotions? In what situations?
I can but usually it is in private. I tend to swallow negative emotions around others because I feel embarrassed about them or I don't want the other person to see they got under my skin. I will use sarcasm laced with irony to make my point.
4. How do you express negative emotions? What does it look like? What do others think about it?
Angry little outbursts over things that I let build up. I can rant at no one in particular until I feel better. People are often shocked but sometimes amused. Depends on the person.
5. Shallow emotions – what does it mean? Are there any other emotions?
Pretending to care when you don't is shallow.
Lots of them but I don't have time, or inclination, to list them.
6. What are right or wrong emotions?
Nothing inherently right or wrong with emotions. You feel what you feel.
7. Can you change the emotional state of yourself? Of others? To what side – positive or negative?
I can and it is very easy when I want to. I don't always want to though. I can make someone feel like they are the most amazing person in the world or the lowest life form. I use this power wisely, usually.
8. What does it mean to “pour out your emotions”? How does it happen?
Pouring out emotions is when you feel so deeply you have to express it. It just happens. Alcohol can move some people to pour out emotion.
9. Does your internal emotional state correlate with what you show externally?
No, not always, unless I am in a good mood or I am talking to someone I trust or is paid not to judge me. If I am apathetic I guess that is pretty clear to others but at that point I really don't care and I do not go out of my way to engage other people when I am in a bad mood. If someone engages me they might get snapped at but I can regain my composure and/or leave.
10. Do you track what mood you are in throughout the day? Do you notice the mood of others?
I know what I feel and I can sense what others feel even if they don't say it. I am not 100% accurate but who is...
1. Do you like surprises?
I am really good at seeing most things coming so it is hard for people to surprise me. I do not like when people ask the staff to sing in restaurants on my birthday. I warn them not to do that to me. It is embarrassing and I do not like the spotlight in that way. I heard if you can still be surprised you will know you're not dead so I know I'm not dead because people still do surprise me, at times.
2. Tell us how people change? How do you feel about those changes? Can others see the changes?
People change slowly over time due to new experiences and knowledge. Sometimes a traumatic change can speed the process, like death, losing everything one owns in a fire or natural disaster or other tragedy. Even the birth of a child can dramatically change many people but in general people change at slow pace.
3. Is it true that whatever happens is only for the best?
That has been my experience but usually in hindsight.
4. What do you think of horoscopes, fortune telling etc.? Do you believe in luck, lucky fortuity?
Love that stuff. I feel like a "lucky" person because things tend to always work out in my favor. I will meet the right person at the right time or I lose one thing only to gain something so much better than what I lost. I don't know if it a combination of luck, skill and openness but something is going on. When I really want something I find a way to get it. Synchronicity is a near constant lately. Even when bad things happen I kind of know I willed them or something. Hard to explain.
5. Can you forecast events? Is it even real?
Yes I can notice patterns/trends and I have dreams that come true so I wake up with a "knowing". Of course it is real.
6. What is time? How do you feel time? Can you “kill” time? How?
I think of time as its own dimension that overlaps our universe allowing us to measure and separate experiences discretely. Without time the human senses could not cope with the barrage of activity occurring all at once. We need the experience of time to remain sane in the realm of human experience but you can also step outside of it and experience timeless moments or even slow it down with your perception. Dreams are often timeless and so are some hallucinogenic states.
7. Is it easy for you to wait for some important event? What if you don’t know when it is supposed to happen?
Hah! Not as a child. I would wake up hours early for Christmas.
If I don't know a time something is going to happen I can get antsy. I prefer to have a schedule and not wait all day for the cable guy. I try to schedule things for after 3 pm so I don't feel rushed.
8. Do you need help creating forecasts and determining how something will end? Do you trust those forecasts?
No I don't need help but I love to talk about these things with people who are open to it. I do trust but doubt can set in too. I find if I let myself doubt then I am not as disappointed if things turn out differently than I imagined they would.
9. Are you normally late? How do you react if someone is late?
I am not usually late but I can get into panics about being later. I can get annoyed if people are very late and I have something else to do. I might even cancel. It depends on how much I want to see them. Sometimes their lateness is the only excuse I need to cancel something I would rather not do.
10. Imagine the situation where you agreed to meet with someone. Your feelings and actions: a) 20 minutes before the meeting starts, b) 5 minutes before the meeting starts, c) it is time for the meeting to start, but the person is not here, d) 20 minutes after the meeting start time and the person is not here, e) more time and the person is still not here…
If my cell battery is full I don't mind waiting and I can get lost in listening to music or doing something on my phone. If I realize a lot of time has passed I will call or if I am at an appointment I will ask someone. If they are not there is a reasonable amount of time I will tell them I am leaving and we can try again another day.
1. Is there a meaning of life? In what? Is it the same for everybody?
You find your own meaning in life and symbolism. It is not the same for everyone but if I had to pinpoint the meaning of life I would say it is to experience it.
2. What should be done so people can be happy?
Whatever they want. I do what I want and sometimes it makes others feel happy. Sometimes it makes me feel happy. I don't focus on making myself or others happy. It is usually a byproduct of doing something I love or enjoy. I prefer to inspire someone than make them happy. The result can be that this contributes to someone's feelings of happiness.
3. In the situations with a lot of potential and volatility will you trust your own guts, logically calculating everything or will you ask people you trust what should be done?
Ideally, yes, I will trust myself and my logic. I won't ask others if I have a strong feeling and idea of what needs to be done since others opinions can interfere with my own intuition and make me doubt myself. I don't like it when people pitch different ideas at me so fast I can't keep up. I prefer to come to my own clarity without outside interference whenever possible.
4. When you meet a stranger, what can you say about him right away? How do you know what this person is all about? Does it take long to understand someone’s talents?
I notice their vibe right away. Maybe some superficial stuff too that is not really important. I may take my time to translate that vibe into human speak. I know what they are really about when I talk to them. Immediate judgments are not that reliable. It depends on how open the person is to really understand what their talents are unless they are blatantly obvious through their art or work. Some people are self protective and you will only see their talents after a period of observation and communication.
5. Remember an interesting person and call out 5-6 qualities you think are interesting in him. What would make a person not interesting? Are you an interesting person? Why? What if someone calls you “boring” and “not interesting”?
This feels draining and I don't want to put the effort in.
6. What opinions, from people who know you, seem: 1) fair; 2) not fair; 3) hurtful; 4) strange.
1. That I can flake on plans.
2. That I just don't care at all.
3. That I am a ditz or something equally dismissive.
4. That I am strange and or mentally off. This tells me they are close-minded and I would probably find them boring anyway unless they actually think being strange is a positive thing.
7. Do you fantasize? What kind of fantasies do you have?
Yes, but it is not something I want to share right now.
8. What qualities should a person have to be successful and why?
They need perseverance, some "luck', some skill, and some passion. I don't think these qualities need the why of it explained.
9. What qualities can stop a person from being successful and why?
Low self esteem, lack of drive/motivation. General negative outlook on themselves and life. Why, because they can wallow in self pity or nurse their traumas to the point of paralyzing themselves.
10. What is more important in life – to be a good person or be a successful one? Why? Is a good person always successful? If not, then why?
It depends on what you value most. A good person can be successful and this question was answered above.

“My typology is . . . not in any sense to stick labels on people at first sight. It is not a physiognomy and not an anthropological system, but a critical psychology dealing with the organization and delimitation of psychic processes that can be shown to be typical.” —C.G. Jung

You only like Ni and Fe in your ego, clearly
(The only two blocks where you didn't get bored of/dismissive about questions)
Ni base works, I think Fi demonstrative, too.
