Default Is Seinfeld an alpha quadra show?

I get a pretty heavy Alpha vibe from not only the characters but also the show in general. It's all about characters trying to weave their way through sticky social situations, laughing & joking, detailed recounting of personal stories, theorizing about people & life, etc. Alpha vibes all over the place. Just think about their coffee shop meetups.

I also think the characters are somewhat correspondent to the alpha types:

    Jerry - SEI
    Elaine - ESE
    George - LII (extremely neurotic)
    Kramer - ILE

Jerry and Elaine are the more 'normal' ones on the show, while George and Kramer are extremely exaggerated stereotypes used for comedic effect. No LII is actually as neurotic as George, and no ILE is as eccentric as Kramer, but they're still fantastic characters.

I sure as hell can't see any of the characters as -valuing.

    What do you guys think?

Kramer was successful character because ILE was played by ILE. Perfect fit just like Kramer's jeans:

    Anyways
George Costanza character = Larry David.

    I love me some Seinfeld.

Seriously, it's a pity that the sheer genius of the show is now lost on younger audiences because the methods and gags which Seinfeld actually created were repeated endlessly in newer sitcoms. I don't know about the types, I just really like the show (Frasier too).

i never quite grokked it... whatever it is socionically, the heavy prevalence of new york culture (pretty antithetical to alpha in some respects) colors it more pronouncedly than any expression of functions or what not.

I thought it's kind of a delta show, since it's Jerry Seinfeld's brainchild and he's IEE. Kramer could be ILE, but Seinfeld being a delta show is perhaps why he is portrayed as so out-of-place and cray cray. He does happen to be my favorite character on the show though. George as LII? ...idk about that...he seems awfully illogical and absurd to me most of the time.

I dont dislike the show but it's not like amazing television or anything. I've seen a bunch of episodes and found it somewhat entertaining.

Jason Alexander is not LII. It probably makes it very inconsistent with LII. Too edgy with neuroticism.
The show was not very beta or gamma.

It troubles me somewhat how much I act like Kramer.

Seinfeld is so stupid how is that even funny?

See @inumbra we can connect on something other than us both appreciating Xena. We also both don't like Seinfeld. (but we shouldn't have too many things in common otherwise it would be too awkward. u need the right balance of homo & hetero energy)

Yeah i totally agree, based on my current perception of what LIIs might be like.
Though any type can become neurotic. Maybe we can figure out his (George Costanza's) type based on what he gets neurotic about.

    Jerry is clearly an extravert.
The decisive thing is not the reality of the object, but the reality of the subjective factor, i.e. the primordial images, which in their totality represent a psychic mirror-world. It is a mirror, however, with the peculiar capacity of representing the present contents of consciousness not in their known and customary form but in a certain sense sub specie aeternitatis, somewhat as a million-year old consciousness might see them.

As someone who fits the stereotype of liking Seinfeld and hating Friends, socionics is fake.
