Projection is ordinary. Person A projects at person B, hoping tovalidate something about person A by the response of person B. However, person B, not wanting to be an obejct of someone elses ego and guarding against existential terror constructs a personality which protects his ego and maintain a certain sense of a robust and real self that is different and separate from person A. Sadly, this robust and real self, cut off by defenses of character from the rest of the world, is quite vulnerable and fragile given that it is imaginary and propped up through external feed back. Person B is dimly aware of this and defends against it all the more, even desperately projecting his anxieties back onto person A, with the hope of shoring up his ego with salubrious validation. All of this happens without A or B acknowledging it, of course. Because to face up to it consciously is shocking, in that this is all anybody is doing or can do and it seems absurd when you realize how pathetic it is.

@Viktor I can relate to the frustration stuff you said. You're not alone. Try to take it easy when you feel that way, you don't deserve to just frustrate yourself more. Just like leave or end the situation ASAP I'd say.
I think IEI women (and men) actually like nerds though usually, so not to add fuel to your fire but if you find an IEI you should watch out for nerds more than non-nerds, just IMO.
IRL some beta STs have tried throw at me their package. It's weird. I'm the one saying that's OK, this the way to handle it and man up.
I think it's common among betas overall to spill their feels at some point of time. It's thewhich is especially twisty beast at lower #Ds and when you combine that with feels... Makes it quite a journey, I guess.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. Actually, no I do not like nerds. They seem somewhat 'feeble' in my eyes, like it's hard to describe but I can't take them that seriously, especially Ne intuitives when it comes to romantic matches. It might seem as if we do because we mostly hangout with other nerds, but I really always did have a thing for the popular/cool/class clown boys. These crushes were secret crushes though, because just as duality suggests both duals seem to be way too different to even get close to each other. That might be the reason why INFps might date more intuitives than sensors/their duals. My other IEI friend had an LII crushing on her and she rejected him, not sure if it was because he was so nerdy, but I understood her not liking him, he wouldn't have been attractive to me either (other friends told her to not be that picky and stuff, but I could sympathise with her in a way when it came to the attraction thing). I never crushed on LIIs at all. If it's gotta be another intuitive then probably a Ni user. Caregivers seem safe people, but they are too boring to me. Might be an individual thing though. I find ILEs and IEEs the more attractive Ne users. But you never know.
That's interesting, because I know a lot of IEIs who have crushed on NT types. Generally I've noticed that people tend to crush on their benefit (IEI crushing on LII in this case) and supervisor (LIE) types pretty often. This makes sense to me because these types have strengths like your dual in helping assist with your HA/polr issues, while still being similar to you in ways.
