Default Food question -- the necessity of refrigeration

    Hey.

I've got some cranberry/raspberry juice here (in my dorm), but I don't have access to a freezer (complicated). The juice bottle says -- refridge it after opening. But how necessary is that?

It probably won't last long now that it's been opened... but, still, I'd like to hear about it. Is it like a major health risk? or shat should you watch for, etc.

    thanks

    the rule of food storage:

if it looks okay, and smells okay, and tastes okay, it's okay

exceptions: anything with active cultures, such as yogurt

the three worst things I've ever tasted in my life:

    1.) fermented orange juice
    2.) a rotten tomato
3.) milk that I spilled when I was 3 and sopped up with a napkin and squeezed back into the glass... I can still taste it when I think about it, and I still gag
